Pizza Boli’s

The pizza is good, the sammies… not so much. All my veggies seemed very old but that just means I will stick with pizza!

I ordered a salad online. Their menu is setup so that it looks like you have to specify if you want cheese. They do not list mozzarella cheese in their ingredients list, and I did not check any of the cheese boxes so I assumed I would not be getting cheese on my salad. Wrong. It arrived with mozzarella cheese. Normally, if I get a messed up order that isn’t that off, I’ll just eat it anyway. Except, aged cheese gives me migraines so I couldn’t eat this salad. I called to ask them if I could get a new salad without cheese and explained about my migraines. The guy I talked to told me it was my fault for not being specific when I ordered my salad. How am I supposed to know to tell them not to include an ingredient when they don’t list in on their menu? The gist was, if I wanted the salad I ordered, I would have to pay for it again. Horrible customer service. Their fries were bad too.

Pizza is pizza for me (the horror!) and I don’t expect gourmet for the price I pay for Pizza Boli’s choices. Personally, there is enough variety, the quality is worth the price, and the service fast. Recently, I had a concern over a credit card charge error and Rene made it right.
Use the paper and online coupons and you won’t go wrong.

I’ve officially converted from papa johns to here! I ordered 2 medium pizzas to be delivered to my house and they came on time, fresh, and delicious. Their pizza is much less greasier than papa john’s, and I like that they included garlic sauce with their pizza. Their dough was also softer than papa john’s, which I liked.
Friendly delivery driver also!

Ok. So I know lot of people have had a bad experience with subs here– but I haven’t tried it, so I will keep my review restricted to the pizza. My roommate and I are big fans of pizza here because of various reasons– (1) inexpensive– much more value of money compared to to bigger pizza chains (2) their pizza sauce is very delicious and different from the others– even a little more spicy– just as we like it– possibly the biggest reason we love their pizza (3) their pick-​up deals are amazing– there is this ever green deal that we always make use of: 2 XXL Two topping pizza for $ 25. So if you’re looking for a change from your regular chain pizza I highly recommend this.

Horrible! At work we ordered online. After an hour and a half we called to find out why it was taking so long. They said there was no paper in the printer and had only just gotten the order. They said 20 minutes. 2 hours and 45 minutes after we got confirmation of our online order we finally had our food… which was all wrong. Their customer service is awful and they apparently don’t think to call if there is a problem. Their food is satisfactory at best and that’s only when they bother to get the order correct. This place sucks! Don’t waste your time or money. Give someone else your business.

This is a great place for cheap and fun pizza! We used to eat here in college and for the price, you cannot beat it! I would compare it being the Honda of pizzas (pizza hut is garbage, Papa John is Chrysler).

How does this place have 3.5 stars. Pizza is terrible. You would be better off going to Dominos or Flippin. The subs are terrible. I think the pics the others posted speak for themselves. I too had the cheeseburger sub, horrible. It is simply a waste of money.

Folks. It’s a pizza place. If you want wings go to BWWs! I have only had the Pizza at Pizza Bolis!

Possibly the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. I speak only for the subs. I uploaded a pic of the burger sub. Even though its as thin as a Burger King burger, it has been cooked to such a degree that I am taken back to my cafeteria in public school. We might as well have lit 25 $ on fire.

Can’t beat the carry out price for pizza and the steak & cheese is suprisingly tasty !

this is a papa johns clone, so much so that there should be litigation. knowing that, if you like sloppy johns, then this is your junk. if you like pizza, then dont order from here.

Small location but good food.

ordered pizza and wings perhaps for the 2^nd time ever from this place. the first time was probably a few years ago. the pizza is nowhere near as good as papa johns in terms of taste and quality. they charge about the same if not more. but they jipped me on the sauce and the crust was not chewy. they did include the two banana peppers and garlic sauce, a lot like papa johns.
the buffalo wings were baked… not quite what i would expect. i like my wings you know… good and hot and fresh and a little vinegary. maybe this place’s subs are good. there was a bunch of foreigners there eating or ordering… maybe some pakistanis and some indians.

Great for take out, excellent prices and the sauce was delish. We ordered 4 pizzas. Service was quick, pizza arrived hot and everyone was very happy. Would order from them again!

I eat a lot of pizza.
This is my favorite delivery pizza place. Usually pretty good specials (2 pizzas or 1 pizza & an order of chicken wings) delivered for around 20 bucks.

The pizza was not bad at all. That may be the only reason that I was able to give them 1 star. We ordered wings to go along with our pizza and I was blown away by the lack of any sort of quality. The wings reminded me of the cheap grocery store freezer bag wings that come precooked and only need to be microwaved. I wish this was an exaggeration. They were small and slimy, completely devoid of any crispness. Do NOT order the wings!!!

Ya know… this pizza isn’t half bad.
The place itself isn’t that impressive. It’s one of those «pick-​up /​delivery only» places. Pretty uneventful — I placed an order via phone, and it was ready on time when I got it.
While some say the prices are reasonable, I’d agree only if you keep your pizza toppings to a minimum and use some of the coupons available online. I ordered two medium «specialty» pizzas, and my bill came to like $ 26. I thought that was a ripoff.
Pleasantly surprised by the pizza itself though. The toppings were put on in large portions, and they were evenly spread. The pizza wasn’t too greasy either. 3 stars.

BEWARE! this place is awful! They sent me someone else’s order and hung up on me twice when I tried to correct the issue! Some guy on the other end of the line asked me «What are we suppose to do about it?» when I called and asked for my order to be corrected. Then, when I finally got a hold of someone with some sense, they had someone drive out and give me CASH because they said they couldn’t refund my credit card! Whoever I was talking to also kept making excuses saying they were too busy and couldn’t send me a new order.
The sad thing is, right or wrong order… the food wasn’t good at all. Even with it being free!
I would suggest Joes or Paisanos nearby before trying this place. They don’t know a thing about customer service.

Pizza and alot more!
First time I’ve heard of this franchise, but then I’m not in the MD/​VA/​DC metro area that often. Over at a friend’s place for dinner, they had ordered from this place, in which I had thought similar to a Papa John’s or Pizza Hut type place. On their box, they do advertise more than just pizza, with subs and other types of food.
They had ordered a hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapples), a veggie pizza, and a half spinach and pepperoni pizza. Three different pizzas to try and rate!
What did I think of it? I actually liked and enjoyed it very much. The pizza crusts are decent. It is different than the Papa John’s type crust, and the sauce isn’t as sweet as Papa John’s, even though I do like everything about Papa John’s. The toppings are quite generously spread across the pizza and the pizza is cooked well. As for the taste? It tastes good, better quality than Pizza Hut, and very fresh. If I am in the area for takeout pizza, I would definitely try to order from this place again.
On slight negative, maybe because it was Thanksgiving eve, that everyone was ordering out and didn’t want to cook, our order didn’t arrive until about 1 ½ hrs after the fact it was ordered.
