Holl’s Chocolates are simply the best chocolates on the East Coast — maybe even in the States — and they are located right here in humble little Vienna, WV. Stop by for a free sample and see for yourself! Bring a kid along and find out exactly how friendly these people can be — your child may end up with a few more free samples than you! They also carry coffee and wine and are often sampling that as well. Everything here is worth buying but my favorite is probably the Dark Chocolate Truffle or the seasonal Tiramisu Truffle. You really can’t go wrong, though, and the staff is happy to recommend their own favorite.

This is simply the best chocolate on this side of the Atlantic. No, I really mean it and not as a hyperbole. Just try one of their free samples, and check out their reasonably priced wine selection and you will know why we always make it a point to stop in any time we are in WV.
My personal favorites are the Croquant and the Hazelnut Truffle.

This is the best chocolatier that I have found anywhere. Nothing in Cincinnati even comes close. All of their chocolates are hand made with fresh ingredients. I don’t think there is anything I wouldn’t recommend. Their caramels are to die for and pretty much everything else will blow you away. Try the truffle of the month. February is usually tiramisu which is the best. Wish they had it all the time. Their coffee is also fantastic. Paired with a great dessert wine collection. This place is like heaven. Make sure you try the sample they offer. You can also try the wine and coffee too. And to ease the pain of separation, you can order online.

Whenever I visit relatives in Parkersburg, Holl’s is always on my list to visit. The quality of their chocolates is outstanding. They have a wide assortment. They also have a selection of wines and coffee beans available. The prices are very reasonable.
While there during Christmas, I learned they now take orders through their website. Looks like they offer free shipping for orders over $ 30. Looks like I won’t have to wait til next December for my next Holl’s fix.
