Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinical Center of Northern VA

Went there for my new patient appointment. If your mid flare up filling out their 2 part questionnaire is a hassle. Lobby is extremely hot.
Nice if your going to get labs as its right in the same office. My flare has been on an off but definitely active, my doctor well she didn’t even really do a thorough inspection. But she did ask me did I ever take medications prior to keep my condition low. Then she said after your labs will get you back here in 10 days I said what if I am not feeling well in the meantime she said take motrin or Tylenol. WRONG ANSWER! So after a plead she said ok one week to see you again. She asked me «You have tattoos do you have HIV?» What?!! Really? Read my chart lady… not a clinic for the young and progressive
My thing is just because you cant see me in in pain at the moment doesnt mean its not happening, I cant stand doctors like this, help me out don’t hurt me.
Now its the next day Im in pain poppin motrin like M&Ms and I either have to go to urgent care and waste money on a copay instead of just getting a prescription while my Rheumy checks my blood.
Still looking for another doctor… terrible experience. The staff is great my doctor was mean.
