Vision Centre Of Victor Valley

Had a great experience at Vision Center Xiomara (Maria) was a huge help and I left excited to come back and pick up my new frames!

After having our optical exams done by target and deciding not to have our glasses ordered through them we came to Vision Center.
At first we were intimidated because they had alot of customers and it looked as if the staff was pretty busy, but as soon as we came in my husband handed the receptionist our prescriptions and within minutes we were walked over to a desk to start the fitting and ordering.
They had a huge selection of brand name frames. My husband prefers Spy frames and most optical centers don’t stock that brand. He was easily able to find what he wanted as was I. The representative that assisted us made sure we got the most we could out of our insurance, since we both had vision coverage, one would cover more or less for clear or sunglasses.
We both got a pair of regular glasses and sunglasses and walked out with brand name frames and the feeling we got the most than we ever had out of our vision insurance. I’ll refer anyone I can here.
The owner was on the floor, he was very friendly and made sure we were satisfied with the service. We commended his staff for the swift, polite and efficient service they provided.

I had a bad experience here and upon writing my negative review I was almost immediately contacted by Ruben who is a manager at The Vision Center, he also runs the social media there and read my review.
Ruben made it a point to make everything right. He did not make any excuses for The Vision Center, he was extremely apologetic for our bad experience and vowed to correct the mistake.
Ruben gave his word that my glasses would arrive in 2 days time and they did. He and the owner also told me due to the radical change in prices that The Vision Center would be swallowing a big chunk of the cost, I ended up paying less than half of what I was supposed to. Ruben explained to me that the reason they did this was because they did not want to lose us as customers and that they wanted us to walk away with a positive experience.
When I came in to pick up my wife’s and my glasses we dealt directly with Ruben. He truly was the nicest guy and told us that anytime we have troubles to go directly to him to avoid any issues.
My wife and I felt that Ruben and The Vision Center went above and beyond to make things right. We are very grateful that everything was taken care of.
Would I recommend this business to someone? Absolutely!

Ladies in here are super friendly and patient. My previous optometrist was good, but the ladies who helped with the glasses were snobs, so I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness here!

The staff was very welcoming. I needed sun glasses and they were so helpful to show me ones in my desired price range. In fact I walked out with two pair. Thank you for your great customer service!

Was in a predicament! My son misplaced his glasses and we needed another pair, STAT! Had a behind the wheel training appointment that he could not do without. I explained everything to Xio and was in and out of the facility, with a new pair of glasses, (since they had his prescription on file) within 25 minutes! Everyone there was awesome and accommodating!

I went twice to get my glasses checked out since I was having a hard time seeing through them. I was turned away the first time, was told to come back, and see someone else, they couldn’t help me. I walked in the 2^nd time, I was referred to the next person. Ruben, found out what the problem was. Thank you Ruben, for all your help and with my Daughter’s Glasses!

The Doctors are ok. The prices reasonable. The staff just plain doesn’t care. The guy with the limp walked by me. Like ten times. Then just sat in the back. Just staring into space. The lady with short blond hair same thing. If it wasn’t for their cheap deals. I wouldn’t come back

I’ve probably been coming here for close to 16 years now. I love this place. The selection of glasses is fantastic. I usually go with Oakleys, but this time, I found some Spy’s that are ANSI Z87 approved that I really like. Exams are always quick, but, any concerns or comments are always addressed. I have never left with a feeling of something lacking. The front desk is quite friendly, welcoming, and also there to help with any questions. I recommend this location to all my high desert friends.

Much improved customer service from previous visits. Wait times can be long at times if the they get backed up. The owner was there when I was there & made sure everyone was taken care of. The optometrist herself was great, with a great personality. The desk girls were much more friendly. They are making efforts to improve their service and it’s appreciated.

This is a great and friendly place to get your eyeware. Staff is great. I have been going here for years. My family does as well.

Hard to rate, as the Employees that work here are great at their job and friendly. The owner is good himself, but his wife made my experience horrible. She had her 10 year old daughter check me in at the register, who was overly pushy. When seeing how visibly put off I was, the employees themselves urged me to voice a complaint… When we did, the mother went on about how it was a family business and preceded to go on about religion and values for about 15 minutes, and was blatantly obvious she was pretty much saying, «This place is mine, and I can do what I want…» Once the’ve fixed this horrible issue, isn’t such a bad place to go, but gets a one for now. Highly recommend Vision Express.

I think the other folks were pretty harsh (See Dr. Katz duplicate listing). This place has a pretty good selection of frames, but they are ALWAYS busy. They take walk-​ins like crazy, so you never can tell if you’re going during a rush or not. The staff are all pretty nice and friendly, but you can definitely see that they are worn out. Once its your turn though, they provide you their undivided attention and they help you through selection and ultimately pickup. I didn’t end up buying anything here, but did bring some frames that I purchased elsewhere to have lenses put in. The experience was good, friendly, and quick. I’ll definitely be back, but doubt I’ll get my exam here because of the mad rush of people.
