My son went here for 4 months from about Dec 2013 to April 2014. I really liked the upbeat atmosphere and personal attention. They have multiple instructors for each class, usually 3 or 4, so the instructors can focus on individual students that may need help. THey also have classes 6 days a week My issues with the studio are mostly that it is really expensive and the use high pressure sales tactics to get you to sign up. Then once we did sign up for 6mos ($ 139/​mo for 8 classes a month), I was constantly pressured to sign up for another year or 3yrs. I just wanted to watch my son’s class, not be pulled away to hear about this special deal if we re-​sign up before this date. Then Master Nam stopped my son’s class not once, but twice, to embarrass us parents for talking. Of course I understand there are rules to not disrupt the class, but I can assure you that the students were not distracted over the loud dance music they play during the classes. Even if they were distracted, Master Nam could have come over and politely asked the parents to quiet down, rather than stopping the class and the dance music to shame the parents in front of their children. I wasn’t even talking and I was embarrassed. I was already considering checking out some different Tae Kwon Do studio due to the cost, so this helped solidify this choice for me.
The last reason we switched to a new studio was due to the free trial class at another nearby studio. My son loved the new studio. There is only one instructor during the classes, but the classes are small so my son still gets personal attention. And it is unlimited classes for almost half of what we were paying for 8 classes a moved. We still go there nearly a year later. great masters and instructors. If you want to take your kids to learn taekwondo, discipline, and respect this is the place. Master Nam has passion for taekwondo and kids!

This is the best martial arts school for my son. They teach fun and exciting classes but best of all, my son is learning about respect and positive attitude. Master Nam is really great with the kids and they have the best school in Victorville. Highly recommended.

John Lewis, who is an instructor at VVTKD, is one of the most dedicated young men that we know. VVTKD is blessed to have him employed by their studio. His patient, caring and laid back attitude are wonderful characteristics for any instructor. However, don’t let his easy-​going nature fool you. John is dedicated to the art of Tae Kwon Do and strives for perfection in his own personal goals for this art. If you are considering joining Victorville Tae Kwon Do then rest assured that with John as one of your instructors you’ll be in excellent hands.

Great program for kids. The program really changes kids lives and also the lives of family.
