Very disappointed with the customer service at this Babies R Us. I was told on THREE separate occasions that I would be notified via email when my nursery furniture arrived. Not one time did I receive said email. Each time I had to physically go into the store to check the status of my order only to be told that it has been sitting in the back for a few days. Very frustrating! Whenever I mentioned my concern with an employee I was told to «check my junk folder.» Obviously I have done this and there was never an email anywhere. When I made my third furniture purchase I even asked if they could please call me when the order came in. After a week of nothing I called only to find out that, once again, my order was sitting in the back. Thankfully my furniture purchases are done because I will never order furniture from them again. Had I known it would have been this difficult, I would have went elsewhere.

First of all, I think the Toy side and the Baby side both need a remodel very badly. The front of the store looks very old and dingy and sun faded. The people on the baby side are friendly but there are never enough staff members to help, and some of them don’t know what they are doing. Every time I have gone there, they’re always so short staffed and the workers seem to take forever to do anything. I did have a cashier one time who was friendly and honestly helped me out very well. I felt bad for her though, because she kept calling over the radio for back up because the line was getting long and nobody ever came to help her. I mean what kind of team is that? Also, considering that Walmart and Target sells almost the same stuff as babies R us and babies R us charges a lot more, I feel like the store should look a lot more clean and organized. I just feel like corporate should get involved and do some major renovations because why would I make a special trip to babies R us, when I can get the same thing at target or Walmart for cheaper and target and Walmart are a lot cleaner. Kinda sad.

I called ahead to ask about my rewards r us points and if I could use them on an Xbox live membership. The lady put me on hold and said yes because that was a product. Xbox live cards were considered products on gift cards. I drove over and attempted to use my rewards r us points and guess what… it didn’t work. The sales associate called the lady I spoke with and they all assured me that it would work. They attempted to override it, but it wouldn’t work. The guys in electronics are the only smart people in the store. They were the only helpful ones. I am tired of being let down by this store and I am done with shopping here.

This review is for BABIES R US. I have had nothing but issues with them. I have also worked at another babies r us in a different city and it was way beyond anything this babies r us could be. I did my registry here which was an ok experience but then trying to buy a very expensive travel system was a complete nightmare and no one knew what they were doing. «We don’t have it, we do have it, we don’t have it». Had about 3 people searching for it in their system during one visit and they would ask me for the item number, I would give it to them or show it to them via the Internet page and they would either look at me like a deer in headlights or get irritated with me. Apparently there is a different item number that’s not even easily available to a customer, yet they would tell me there was nothing they could do unless I gave it to them, but they couldn’t find it either. I did end up getting the travel system but then I forgot to have them put it on my registry because I was so flustered, so I called a couple days later and asked them if I could put it on there some how to get the 10% credit for it and they told me sure no problem, so I went into the store and the lady was rude and treated me like I was a huge inconvenience to her. Ended up getting it sorted out with a different cashier who was averagely polite. I’m so sad that this is really the only place we have up here for women and families to buy all the things needed for when our little ones arrive. Having a child is kind of a big deal and should be treated as so.

I can’t believe how the cashiers seem to have no common sense. So I go in to make a purchase I stood in line for 15 minutes there was one lady being«helped» at the register and she was upset because the cashier didn’t know what she was doing. I’m currently pregnant with twins and clearly look it. Finally after standing there the cashier calls for back up this lady comes and tells me to go to electronics and another cashier takes the lady behind me up front. Why is it I have to walk to electronics and I’m next in line??? Then I get over there and she starts filling out some paperwork like I wasn’t even standing there. I said hello then she rang me up. I will never be back!!!

My favorite Toys r us/babies r us. and not so much for the store because i’ve been to bigger Babies/Toys r us. But it’s really the customer service they provide at this location. I don’t care too much for how much of a variety they have its simply being treated well and we just moved to victorville they always remember us when we go in very helpful and friendly. They have gone above and beyond to help us out on certain occasions and not only that but they provide great customer service to ALL of us including the children!

We were driving from Laughlin, Nevada to Orange County, when we passed this Toys R Us. We decided to take our son in for a look. He ended up finding a Bionicle that he couldn’t find at other locations. This store was fully stocked and in neat order. The check out was quick, and the clerk was very nice.

This review is for Babies R Us part of store. Toys and baby items are usually way overpriced. Recently went in there to get a gift card and a baby card for a friends baby shower(I cant make it to shower so sending gift card since she shops there), and I couldnt believe how expenisve the puny cards were($ 5 for a thin little card that only has a couple of words in it?!). The selection of baby items at this location is not as big as other locations. I personally prefer the baby stuff at burlington coat factory baby depot more than Babies R Us.

As far as the selection goes I must say it’s a good store. As for the employees I find most of them to be lazy, cranky, and not having a clue at what is going on in the store. I have found empty boxes in the restrooms because apparently it’s that easy to just swipe items. I understand it’s Victorville, so it’s not surprising, but you’d think because it is Victorville, they’d have a better security system in place. Some of the staff, especially during the holiday season have no clue how to do their job. We recently purchased an item, that had a sign on the shelves to be $ 5 off, we go to checkout it rang up at full price. We inform the cashier of the sign posted and she walked over to a lady who seemed rather annoyed and asked about the $ 5 off. She picked up a flyer and that was it. The cashier comes back over and says«it’s not in the flyer». No one actually went back to check or even call to ask about it. So needless to say we are returning the item because they are lazy and couldn’t do their jobs correctly. This isn’t the first time we have had this type of thing happen. There have been many times the items have been on sale and I have to say something and I have had employees who called to ask people in the departments find out if what I was saying was correct or not. I must say I have been correct all the previous times this has happened! Toys R Us and Babies R Us are usually over priced, so we almost always only buy when things are on sale.

Holy cow, have you seen their new Babies R Us side?! Okay, okay, so it’s been open for, like, a year or something like that, but I try to spend as much time as possible OUT of the HD(as if you haven’t already learned that in my reviews), and so I hadn’t seen it since it expanded. The store has so much baby stuff and I was able to get some super cute clothes for my friends’ baby for — get this — $ 7! A whole outfit! Oh, and how cute is the little Dodger outfits and team jersey?! Super cute. The rest of the store is good as well. Neat, clean, organized and spacious. They even have a room for mother’s to breast feed if need be(though I think that’s going a little far, but I am so not part of the mommy brigade so don’t hate me for saying that). And the staff is all super friendly and willing to help you out.
