Best southern home cooking I’ve had in a long time. Real home made biscuits and gravy to die for. Food is excellent.

I visited this restaurant when it was both Rusty’s and King Café. When it was Rusty’s the food was good, the former owner, an older woman appeared to be disengaged with the business at hand. The menu was scant and boring. I’ve been a Molly Browns fan for years. This morning Molly’s was jammed then I remembered King Café. I knew there was new ownership and menu. The breakfast menu was vast with traditional American classics and a great selection of Mexican favorites. I ordered my favorite, Eggs Benedict. Oh my goodness, it was fantastic! The best I’ve had in years. My meal was served by the owner about 5 – 7 minutes after I ordered. There was a young lady I think she was a hostess/bus person who stopped by often to see if I needed anything. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a skeptic and have high standards. I was so pleased with my delicious meal and excellent service, I tipped 50%. I don’t know what the deal is with the other reviewers, perhaps they should have gone through a fast food drive through.

This place has certainly gone down hill went there today and the potatoes in the has browns were hard bell peppers not cooked biscuits and gravy were cold and to top it off, cottage cheese was spoiled! They did not offer to recook the food. Been going to this restaurant for over 20 years! They had the nerve to say hate to give this to you but here’s the bill. You lost a 20 year customer today. I don’t think they will be in business long.

My family and I used to really like Rusty’s and were a bit disappointed when ownership changed. We have been to King’s Café several times after the change and noticed quantity and quality of the food was changing. On our last visit we waited for 15 minutes just to place our drink orders. 15 minutes after that we placed our meal order. After close to an hour of sitting down our food came out of the kitchen we realized it was not what we ordered. We decided to cut our losses(time) and went to the cashier to pay for our drinks and leave. The owner was gracious enough to waive our drinks and apologize. Our server stopped us and blamed the horrible service on «us ». Stating we came during a rush. The place will remain popular due to it’s proximity to the courts. I for one will never go back or nor will I ever recommend it again.

IF today had been our first visit we would never return! We have been coming here since it was TNT’s back in the ’90’s, then it changed to Rusty’s. The old man/woman who owned it as Rustys were a bit rude, but the food/service was good so we continued to come here for breakfast. Today, it took us over 45 min. to get my food, and they gave the me wrong order. They re-cooked my food and I received it and my husband still hadn’t got his order. finally about 10 min. later he got most of his food, and just as we were leaving he got the rest of it. we may give it one more try… but not in the near future.

Great restaurant with friendly owner and employees. Right after you go inside you are welcomed and sat down. The food also comes out pretty quick and tastes great!

Went to Kings for breakfast after hearing how good the food was and how large the portions were. Only to find the place had changed ownership along with the quality of the food and the portion size. SUPERDOWNSIZE to put it lightly. The restaurant was also very hot inside and had to ask the waitress to turn on the a/c. Needless to say We will not be going back to this place. Nothing to wow about here I guess the rumors of old have died. We miss the Rusty of the good ol days.

Delicious food! The chicken fried steak was awesome, and the country cream gravy was some of the best I’ve ever had. Come hungry, as the portions are large, but the price isn’t. Very affordable! I will definitely be back when I return to town.

These kind people took over the former Rustys’ Café and are bringing it to the five star dining atmosphere the previous owners once had. Keep it up Kings Café.
