Okay, so I am VERY picky and I have a hard time finding a place who works within my means. First, I have a TON of cowlicks; second, I’m military and have to ensure that my hair is within regs; third, as if the first two isn’t a big enough challenge, I have a unique flair and finding a «rock-​a-​billy-​turn-​conservative-​for-​military-​requirements» is a tough ordeal. So, with that said, let me explain WHY this definitely THE place to go. John-​Michael is the only person in all of Southern California that I will let TOUCH MY HAIR… he is a military veteran and he gets the requirements I am faced with, YET his own sense of personal flair and style provide a UNIQUE position to meet my complicated needs. In fact, he’s opened his schedule and stayed late just to meet my needs. It’s not just John-​Michael that has talent here, Jenny is remarkable also! She has corrected my previous salon’s waxing job and works quickly while doing an amazing job. She fits me in whenever she can and works closely with scheduling to ensure she remains available when I go into the shop for a cut. Raylene (sp?), from what I have heard does an amazing job on color… she was supposed to do my highlights/​color recently however I had an emergency at home and had to cancel at the last minute; she was incredibly understanding which means I will definitely be rescheduling with her soon. Additionally, desk/​scheduling staff are always accommodating and do a phenomenal job of meeting my unique scheduling needs. These people literally jump through hoops to help me!!! I love this place. I have gone all over the world and have been hard pressed to find a better salon. As if what I have said is not enough, I LOVE their salon products… every other time I go here, I am always sorting through their new products for goodies! I can’t say enough about this place! Don’t listen to the negative reviews where people provide vague statements… my guess is that they are from competitors or didn’t give this salon a fair chance. No place is perfect, but let me tell you, this place comes close. One thing I would recommend, if there is something that does not satisfy you at this place, just let John-​Michael know, he has always corrected or attempted to fix things immediately. Final statement, THIS PLACE ROCKS!

Go see Jenny! I have found a stylist in the hi-​desert and don’t need to search for talent down the hill. What I love about Jenny is her communication skills. Jenny takes the time to discuss with me what I’m looking for color and style wise. I don’t always know exactly what I want or what will look good on my face shape but Jenny is a skilled professional. I trust her judgement; she advises me based on what I want and explains why a certain look is better for me. The end result of her work yields many compliments from friends and family and I feel younger and more confident. I enjoy the conversations I have with Jenny because it feels very natural and she is down to earth. I feel very comfortable at this salon and love the people and atmosphere here. I am sure other stylists are great there too but I will only go to Jenny because I couldn’t hope for more in a stylist.

Fabulous place! Everyone is super nice and friendly. I absolutely love the red color with blond highlights that my gal does for me! I receive compliments all the time from complete strangers and they usually ask me where I get my hair color done as it is an extremely unique and attractive color. The price is very reasonable for the excellent service and comfortable environment.

My daughter and I, who have different textured hair, have been clients of Raylene ‘s for five years. She always does more than an amazing job on us. She answers every single question we have and will tell you the truth on what works best so that your hair will not get damaged. She doesn’t push product but will point you in the right direction if you are looking for a certain style. She has went out of her way to respond to my texts on her own time. She is such a lifesaver and I’m thankful for her. I definitely recommend her!

Love the people/​Stylist there. They are all friendly perfessional and family oriented.. I love how welcoming the salon is. You can tell everyone gets along. I love going there. I went to is salon for the first time on ³⁄₆. My stylist moved to this location from another, which is why I went to Elements. This salon lacks professionalism and class.
It was at first difficult to decipher who the employees were and who the clients were. With the exception of two female stylist, the employees were dressed horribly, too much makeup, a lot of tattoos and facial piercings.
I Was there 3 hours and I watched as stylist did each other’s hair. I counted 4 stylist that got their hair done. This is tacky. Most salons require employees to report to work fully styled.
The kicker is when one employee brought 3 small children in who continued to wonder around. An infant was passed around to a couple employees. This was unprofessional.
There was not a coat rack or a place to set my handbag. I held it or sat it in the floor. The owner never acknowledged me as I stood in front of him wanting to pay my bill. Rude and unprofessional.
Yes I will return, only because my stylist is there. Hopefully she will move again.

I’ve been going to Elements for over 2 years now. Jenny has been my stylist the whole time. I couldn’t be happier. We have perfected my color and I leave feeling like a million dollars. Salon is clean and staff personable. Front desk staff are very nice too. Prices are reasonable

They offer coffee as soon as I walk in, the front desk people are very nice. The place looks nice. I followed Christina from another place. I like this place better. Very professional.

I was introduced to this place by my wife… I was tired of the poor performance at Super Cuts, and I am happy I was turned to this place. I have never sat in a chair as long as I do here… and I like it because of the detail the stylist put into their work to make you feel and look good. I come here for Robyn, and she has not disappointed, she is attentive to what you want, keeps a great conversation, and just does a great job. I’m a fan.

If you are going to come to this location make sure you ask for Christina and Brandon. Both do an amazing job, and have NEVER done me wrong. Best stylists in the damn place if you ask me.

My two favorite stylists have left and headed to another salon. I do still like Elements, as it’s super clean and reputable… however I’m heading over to Bella Mia to follow Brittney Porter and Kimberly.

Ok I had my sister get here peekaboo highlights done in a dark purplish color and it washed out within a week. The hairdo was $ 90. Overpriced service for crap results. My sister ended up going to a hole in the wall hair place in Moreno Valley and her hair color lasted at least 3 months! Being expensive doesn’t ensure its good quality. Trust me.

I choose this salon based on the Unilocal reviews. Due to all the praise I was expecting a different experience than what I received.
Let’s start with the good. I was able to make a same day appointment and the salon was clean and nicely decorated.
Now for the bad. Once I was seated I was under the impression that my stylist Jade was not having a great day. All the other stylists were with clients and they were all chit chatty and talkative, laughing and acting like they’ve known their clients for years. Not so with Jade. The small talk was rather strained and she seemed hurried. I tried to explain that I wanted long layers framing my face, a flattering cut that I’ve received in the past from a different salon. I asked her about flattering styles for my face shape and she said, «Well how about a long layer on the side?» ok, sounds good. She trimmed and layered the back which turned out nice and then gave me a long bang on the left. So now I have a chunk of hair that reaches to my jaw, and the rest of my hair is at mid-​back. This is not what I had in mind. It is not flattering. I asked if she could layer the right side and she said that she did and could do it more but it would take more time. The right side is not layered. I’m guessing that she didn’t anticipate a haircut on someone that actually wanted to keep some length? I don’t know but I am not happy with how I was treated and rushed out. My husband had his hair cut and styled by Jenny, she offered him a drink, was very friendly and talkative and listened to him explain the nature of his hair. She offered suggestions, told him what she was doing as she did it and was very interactive with him. *IF* I come back I’ll ask for Jenny. She seems to comprehend what a client wants, makes sure they are satisfied with the cut and happy with the service.

I HAD to write a second review because I had my haircut and colored two months ago and I am STILL getting compliments! I was so surprised because I felt like it needed to be at least trimmed, I couldn’t believe it everyone keeps saying how healthy it looks. once again job well done by Raylene!

I had a terrible experience here. You would think for a $ 25 hair cut you would leave amazed, or at least content. I requested a low skin fade, but was told its not possible, ok no biggie so I got a simple low fade, the stylist was very friendly and the place was clean and nicely decorated. When I got back to my place and got a good look at my hair, it had a lumpy profile, long patches, and «trees» (long single hairs) onthe sides. I can style it to hide the flaws for the most part, but I shouldn’t have to.
I definitely would not recommend if you are a male with short asian hair or if your hair needs attention to detail.
