Fine dining with full bar. Great food. I love the mustard sauce that comes with the London broil.

A very nice restaurant. My favorite drink is the Cadillac Margarita. We love the filet mignon potstickers and the tempura shrimp appetizers. The Mojave chicken is addicting! Love it. In my opinion, in the high desert, there are only 2 restaurants that qualify as fine dining. This is one of those two restaurants.

Had an okay anniversary dinner. Two pleasant people were working, a waitress and probably an owner. The ambience just seemed too dated and contrived. Five or six large booths along one wall, which was covered with mirrors. The seafood was prepared fine, I guess, but in my opinion it was not gourmet, nor does this place provide a fine dining experience. I would call it Asian austere with dated décor. The appetizers were just plain old plain, seemed like grocery store frozen. The bread plate had two slices of stale, buttered & toasted French bread. One for each of us. The salad was a handful of some prepackaged brand.(And why is it when you request dressing on the side it happens about 60% of the time?) I don’t know, I just wasn’t impressed but my wife likes the place, so l’ll give it another chance eventually.

Food was good the drinks where okay. They have these interesting martini glasses with a design flaw that made it hard to hold and I spilt my drink and that was a disappointment.

This is by far the best dining experience to be had in Victorville. Came for lunch as it was my first time. Dined on appetizers, specifically the filet mignon pot stickers, cajun lamb chops and escargot. It was delicious, every bite! Their homemade crime brûlée was so good I ate most if it myself even though I was sharing and I’m not particularly fond of it. The wine list is small but the selections are well chosen. I will never feel like I have to drive down the hill to get an excellent meal again!

Best fine dining in Victorville. Food is great, steaks are super tender every single time I’ve been there. Baked potatoes are huge and delicious. The drinks are always pour generously. Nice quiet, elegant restaurant with small bar. Jan and her staff are awesome. Great place for date, anniversary, birthday. etc

If you want something quiet, delicious and to feel like you’re not rushed — this is it!!! Excellent king crab legs, lobster thermidor is to die for and the scallops are extra sweet. You will start off with a simple but very tasty salad. The dressing is a sweet poppyseed and we loved it! It seems to be the house dressing and it’s perfect! You will wait but it will be worth it –but you won’t be rushed away!!! The owner was our server and very attentive. I will definitely go back!

Wellllll… It’s about the only«fine dining» in the HD. The escargot is moist and flavorful but most everything else seems like typical food with fancy names. Basic meat potato or rice dishes along with pastas and salads that aren’t always fresh. We go on occasion to meet friends for the escargot and cocktails but we have learned to stop after that and go elsewhere for dinner.

One of the best hidden secrets in the high desert. The food is great and the service is superb. I would recommend any of the stir-fries. Pot stickers are great too.

We had reservations for 6pm and we were seated immediately. Our drink orders were taken immediately and we were served our beverages right away. Then… nothing. The waitresses were running around refilling drinks but never stopping long enough to take an order. Finally we had to ask someone to please take our order. I’m giving this 2 stars because my husband said his steak was good regardless of the fact it was not cooked to the temperature he requested. My in-laws who brought us here apparently eat here a lot and loved their London broil. I ordered the Alaskan salmon and while I’ll admit the wine sauce was delicious, the salmon was over cooked and so fishy tasting I was unable to eat it. I hoped the sauce would help but it was just too overpowering. The bread they serve is not very good, kind of a failed play on Texas toast maybe? The salad is a tiny bit of chopped lettuce with one chunk of carrot on it. Maybe 3 bites if you are lucky. Needless to say I felt that they are way overpriced for the lack of quality and quantity of food you receive. I will not be eating here again.

The atmosphere and service were fine but the food was dreary. I kept thinking of all the cooking practices I had seen on Kitchen Nightmares involving the microwave. I ordered halibut chargrilled. It had char marks but I imagined they had been made at another time and then heated up in the microwave just for me. It was dry and I don’t think it was even halibut. The salad was a bowl of chopped lettuce with one thick slice of carrot. This is an expensive restaurant. The bread was some mushy slice of nondescript white bread with melted butter. I did like my drink, a Scorpion, which came in a sexy lady tiki glass and I was grateful it was strong.

The atmosphere is just the best I have ever experienced. I was taken here by a friend and her husband and I have to go back. It is inside a strip mall but that does not take away front he ambiance and 5 star service. I loved eating here and the booth reminded me of the old 40s. I ordered the duck a la orange and it was perfectly cooked. I also tried my table mates’ food and was just as good. The drinks seemed a little watered to me but sometimes what I order is too special to get right, as I have been told. Duck is hard to get right and when I see it on anyone’s menu I have to order. It is my most fave to order and eat. I was pleased and hoped to go back for more. They oddly include fruit on their entrees and that is so different. But hey, I like fruit and it cleanses the palate for tasting as well.

When we parked it was really dark and we weren’t sure if we should go in… Really glad we did. Walked in the door and was greeted very quickly. Really enjoyed a bottle of wine, the duck, and the Alaskan king crab legs. They are already cut with a really nice butter sauce that isn’t even necessary since it was really good. Service was great. Even refilled the wine when she came to the table which I had never experienced before.

Where to start. Came in with my family and the atmosphere felt like we went back to the 90’s. We were greeted and seated pretty quickly. After this it was downhill. They were obviously understaffed, because it took the waitress a very long time to greet us and get our drinks. We ordered quite a bit of different or appetizers and meals. It took forever. At one point we actually considered leaving. Once we got the food, I will say we were very unimpressed. Temperature of food was all over the place, flavor was mediocre and we were kind of bummed. All in all, I’ve been able to eat at restaurants all over the nation and for the price, it was a disappointment. IMHO, they would be a good candidate for one of those tv shows that redo their restaurant. There’s potential, but the execution was horrible. 2 stars is being generous.

I come here at least once a week. Very relaxed, cozy atmosphere. The host lady is very nice, always very helpful. You have to try potstickers :). Out of this world:). Many dishes to choose from. Waitresses are very nice as well, you won’t be disappointed. Great Chinese food!!!

Reverse Back to the Future… Good for Cocktails and Appetizers, Kitch Kool! They’re stuck in time and it’s the 1980’s. Tiles in rounded walls like rich kid’s house in Hollywood Hills, Less Than Zero. Shiny chrome and electric purple furniture like Miami Vice South Beach clubs. Mauve pink tiles in ladies’ room with black lacquer vases. Black octogonal plates…‘member those? Only thing missing was a Nagel painting and sounds of Erasure and Human League. You chuckle and think, this has the potential to be a cool retro place; I mean, the décor is like The Encounter restaurant at LAX but obviously less sci-fi. Then you snap back to the present and hear boring dull elevator music and see everyone in their 50’s and 60’s and they’re obviously regulars because the Chinese lady owner knows them by their name and you realize this place is never going to change. It is what it is. We’ve been here twice and both times we’ve noticed everyone else in the restaurant ordered Chinese food, despite the fact they’re the only French restaurant in high desert area of Apple Valley and Victorville that offers classic French cuisine, like escargots and duck a l’orange and frog legs. So Chinois in Santa Monica, it is not. Salad was drenched in their house dressing so you might want to ask for it on the side. Escargots were okay, garlicky-butter sauce, but the bread was obviously microwaved. Steak was raw rather than medium so we had to have them take it back and cook it longer. Salmon was served Asian style in bed of soy ginger garlic mix, good but just way too salty. Halibut was overcooked. Lo mein was coated in olive oil and not the good kind, either; just tasted like any cooking oil you get at the supermarket. Most of the food items were just«microwaved,» so we couldn’t understand how they stayed in business. That is, until, we noticed most everyone were there to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, etc., like the James Caan clone next booth who came to celebrate an anniversary with his big haired bleached blonde Texan-looking trophy wife. Us, too, we came to celebrate a birthday as well. The lady owner is exceptional at customer service-old school refined kind, so despite its lackluster food, everyone comes here because it is upscale fine dining, however tacky it may be at the same time. BTW, They have Chilean Sea Bass for dinner, $ 31.99 And who knows, maybe it’s good. Maybe their specialty is the more exotic items like frog legs and quail and lobster thermidore, who knows? But if you don’t want to spend that much money, I suggest coming here for drinks and appetizers and just soak in the kitchy vibe atmosphere because its actually kinda cool for that. Full bar so you can get your appletinis cosmos and tom collins. But their tiki lounge drinks sound more fun… Mai Tai, Scorpian, Pina Colada, Zombie.

Came in during the week for lunch since I saw the catchy name on Unilocal. Was surprised of the location of the place BC it was in a office building. I got here before noon so parking was no issue to find. The interior reminded me of a older steakhouse environment and was clean with tablecloths on every table. The menu was so unique — French and Asian fusion which the first I’ve encountered. I started off with some green tea and chose the fillet of sole Cajun style which included salad and lo mein. The salad was fresh and crisp, the sole was spicy, moist and the lo mein was decent Service was impressive from my Asian waitress who was friendly and on the spot. She must have refilled my hot water for my tea at least 4 times. I’ll have to return here again and check out Chinese food. The place seems to have a lot of regular local diners here which is another positive.
