Soul Juicin’

I recently went to Soul Juicin’ to talk with Lynne about her start-​up business. She was very welcoming & let me and my group of friends taste all of her products, and I have to say I’m impressed! You can taste how natural and unprocessed the juices are and it’s refreshing to have such a healthy option! We’re hoping to put her in contact with people at RIT so we can access the juice a little closer to home and while at work/​school. She recently rearranged the sitting area and it looks great! The chalk board that customers can write on when you walk in is also very cute, and I enjoyed the personal feel it gave the place. You’re able to see exactly where the juice is pressed, which is great because you can see that the process is all natural. Would definitely recommend the juices here, especially Lala’s Lemonade! Prices are very reasonable here :)

Simply the best! Craving some juice right now!

I stopped into soul juice to for a quick pick me up! The owner is very nice and offers you samples of all 5 of her juices. They were good, but I think I’m spoiled by having Just Juice4 life around the corner from me :(
The atmosphere was messy — in a basement, her computer is set up in the only area where you can wait for the juices, not
Behind the counter or hidden in the offic, which I thought was weird. She should use that space for tables instead of a makeshift office. It definitely needs to be rearranged so the ambiance flows just as much as the juice!
Very friendly, l be back to try another juice!

First off, Soul Juicin’ is a baby company. This is her second week open and as such you have to understand it’s not gonna be like your going to Jamba Juice or something. There’s a small, but delicious, del action of juices and the store is still developing so don’t expect this to be a «sit down and contemplate life over a glass of juice» experience.
That being said, the place is great. The owner, Lynne, is very friendly and knowledgeable about juicing. She offered us samples as soon as we walked in. I recommend the «I’ll kale it a day» drink, I found it tasted like the four leaf clovers I used to pick and eat as a kid. The «La La’s Lemonade» was also fantastic and a good introduction to juicing.
All in all I enjoyed my visit and will return.

To be fair, I visited on their 2^nd day of storefront operation. This basement location is damp and depressing. Totally NOT a cozy juice bar like I had pictured. In fact, there was no seating and no made-​to-​order juices at all.
The pre-​made «I’ll kale it a day» juice I bought was pretty «meh». I’m no stranger to juicing. This was just ok and certainly nothing special. Who even knows when it was made?!
The owner was a bit condescending and it’s unlikely I’ll return.
