Everything about this place is authentic including the cranky service. The lemon soup had no lemon flavor, the beef kabob was over spiced, the potatoes were water logged and for the price they should get some real silverware.

I had the philly steak sandwich and fries. Interesting presentation by using pita bread. This worked though, kept the sandwich form being overly messy and added to the flavor. The fries were crisp. Based on the food I would give 4 stars, but the place is a dive, refrigerator out in the seating area, old carpet, etc. Appeared to have some really good Greek dishes, tilapia, spanakopita, etc. I will give it another try for some of the authentic Greek dishes, but they need to do some major upgrades.

Great family restaurant at very reasonable prices. Prime rib on Thursday and lamb on Friday are regular meals for our family. The Greek red snapper is the best fish I’ve eaten in Birmingham area. Don’t expect fancy, but do expect good food. Seating is a bit tight, but plenty of parking and easy to find.

Fantastic family owned shop. The food is authentic and the location laid back and tucked away. The snapper and steak are amazing. Great local gem. A great Vestavia foodie spot.

I’ve seen their ad promising tastes of Birmingham’s terrific Greek Food Festival all year long. So tonight I ventured out and tried their lamb dinner for the first time. I understand that it’s only available on Fridays. Delicious, but next time, I’ll go back to my all-time favorite dish — chargrill salad. Moist chicken marinated and grilled to just the right doneness, served on top of a true Greek salad. Lots of olives and feta, and you get to add as much of their homemade Greek dressing as you like.

Good simple Greek food. The way it should be. Brings me back to eating at Greek family feasts. They have all of my old favorites. Unlike other«Greek» restaurants you do not have to wonder why they miss staples when you need your Greek fix!

Excellent gyros! Only a 3 star because the place could use a good cleaning, especially the restrooms.

This is a Greek place that does not serve hummus. Let that sink into your brain for a few minutes. I ordered a gyro and their olive dip and pita(cuz they don’t serve hummus) to go. The olive dip wasn’t bad. In fact, it was actually fairly decent. A little spicy with a lot of olives and feta. Not a bad appetizer at all. My big gripe with this place was the gyro. They put the lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki on it and wrapped it so tight that by the time I got to it, the lettuce had essentially liquefied, the tomatoes had steamed, and the sauce had kind of congealed. Not good. Either put that stuff off to the side or dont wrap it so tight. Prices are very reasonable, but I will not be back.
