Why I started going to Leah: Diagnosed with CIN3 and difficulty conceiving.
I started seeing Leah towards the end of 2012 after dealing with some stressful and scary health issues. On September 2012 I had an abnormal pap smear and had to get a colposcopy and biopsy to determined what it all meant. After the results came back the OBGYN diagnosed me with having CIN3 — not cancer but severe dysplasia that spans more than ²⁄₃ of the cervix walls. I was told this needed to be treated right away to reduce the chances of it becoming cancer over time. I then had a LEEP done (October) which is when they remove the affected part of the cervix and it is then send out to make sure all the cells around the area are clear. Mine came back a level 1, not clear, so I was told that I needed to be monitored every 4 months and there was a high change that next time I had a pap (4 months) it would show a level 2 – 3. About a month after having this procedure I decided to see an acupuncturist and see if there was anything else, besides western medicine, that I could do to help me and be healthy again.
Treatment: Once a week unless she recommends more visits for a specific reason (a cold, ache, pains, etc).
While she was helping me get through a specially difficult time, grieving the loss of a loved one, I saw her a little more frequently.
We started working on my overall health, managing stress level (I get stressed out very easily) among other things. If there is a day where I have a particular issue (wrist pain, cold, cramps) she will focus on that and treat that specific issue.
Results:
Since I started treatment with Leah, I have had 2 clear pap smears and if I get one more in a few months then I will go back to annual check ups!
Leah is wonderful, patient and very understanding. I can go on and on about how wonderful Leah is and how much she has been able to help me, not only with this issue but overall, she has changed my views about a lot of things. I have total and complete faith and trust in her and her abilities, so much so that she is now treating my husband as well. We have also been trying to get pregnant for the past 2 years with no luck but I am hopeful that now that Leah is treating the both of us, it will happen soon. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is seeking a more natural approach and healing process.

I found Leah Schwartz on Google when I was experiencing a lot of pain due to wrist tendonitis. She accepted my insurance and I began treatment in February. I was hesitant at first since I am no friend to needles, however, I was desperate to relieve my discomfort naturally. She has opened my eyes and has encouraged me to pay close attention to my body and what it is telling me. I enjoy receiving treatment from Leah and I feel very comfortable with her. Her office is easy to get to and is inviting and peaceful. I work 9 to 5 like most people and she is able to schedule me in with ease.
