Bill has been repairing our fleet of commercial trucks for years. He’s accommodating, knowledgeable, a straight-​shooter and will go the extra mile to get the job done. His prices are a little higher than some, but his work and integrity give you the peace of mind that more than makes up for that.

So, update to my review. Just had more issues with our vehicle. I’m not saying it’s an old car, but I do believe there are scratches on it from a T-​Rex. Bill has managed to keep it (safely) on the road, and without forcing me to get a 2^nd job belching the alphabet or something. OK, here’s the details on the most recent problem. Gas was leaking when my wife filled the tank so I figured it was the filler throat/​hose. Since I had no wish to see if our car could double as a space shuttle, we had Bill check it out. He verified we had a gas leak (from the car, not from me after chili night), and also discovered some other issues. For everything he did, the price was still very reasonable, and our car is safe to drive again. Unfortunately he can’t do anything about the loose nut behind the wheel (when my wife drives), but this car should last at least another couple years. The maintenance is definitely cheaper than a car payment.

My Acura dealer told me I had broken motor mounts on my 2003 Acura and it would not pass inspection without the fix. Also it would be costly, almost a thousand dollars. This car is long in the tooth yes, but I am trying to make this car last a bit longer, should I spend that kind of money?
To verify the immediacy of the need, I called Bill D’andries to see if he could look at the car and give me his opinion. Bill said sure bring it in anytime and he would look it over.
Took it in and he and two of his mechanics looked at it, and looked at it and said, «tell me again what the dealer told you». I repeated their claim and Bill said, «I don’t see it». «Your car is no spring chicken, but these mounts are okay and would pass inspection without a problem». «You can drive this car safely without any fear or problem».
Saved a thousand dollars! Thanks a lot Bill.
