If you’re traveling through Vernon, AL (which is hard to believe anyone would want to be doing that unless they have family living there), do not stop at the VERNON INN. Keep going!!! Motel is sorta clean but beds are to short, toilets are bouncy (missing nuts and bolts), shower heads are way to low, shower curtain with mold, some kind of yuck on the TV screen. Just plain scary! When you check in they make you pay upfront for all the nights staying there. Please be aware of the «NO REFUNDS» sign on the far end of the desk!!! They will not refund any nights that you don’t stay. In fact, they don’t even know how to refund if you’re using a charge card. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!
