So, there’s a place with a great selection of books, movies, audiobooks, and many more. I go to my hometown library very often(recently, a lot of times like I’ve gone there every week) and I always have a secret like there’s something new and I always want to check out things that holds my interest. My brother is also a good Unilocaler. Pros: 1. A nice renovated atmosphere 2. It has a better stairway to access non-fiction books 3. It has a wheelchair entry with a newer back entrance 4. There are a lot of great events going on. 5. There is a Local History Room 6. Good Selections of Materials in the children’s room. 7. Nice staff and they help patrons. 8. There is elevators for people with disabilities. 9. A nice place to relax and study. 10. Great Selection of New Books, TV Series, and Magazines. 11. They have e-books and other digital resources. Cons: 1. They don’t circulate Blu-Rays yet. 2. Sometimes, not many patrons are in the library while I’m there. 3. They have young adult books but they’re in the adult department because they don’t have a teen room. Overall, A Great Experience! 4 Stars is worth like 4 ½ for me.

Privately owned and a non-profit, Rockville Public Library has been around for over 100 years! In late Spring of 2014, the 110-year-old library held a grand reopening to celebrate the renovations it has undergone. Books(available on tape and CD), VHS, DVDs, magazines, and public WiFi: what else could you ask for from a library? RPL is working on providing downloadable books to the public, as well as an improved and updated website. Also in the works is more programming for after-school activities and job-seekers. The way the old and new aspects of the Rockville Public Library have been merged together, it’s nearly impossible to tell that there are now, technically, two separate buildings. Clean and very well-maintained, the library is able to honor the historic aspects of the building and the community while incorporating technological advances. It’s really no surprise that many locals consider this to be a focal point of the community and why I appreciate coming here.
