I don’t get the similar glowing reviews with almost the same wording, and I think I smell something funny. I think Unilocal should be a place for honest review and there is a place for all kinds of reviews.
I think the difference between the varying experiences is that (obviously) there are TWO Pedro’s locations. The problems with the Pedro’s that I reviewed were for the VERNON LOCATION and not the brand new NEW HARTFORD location. Of course a new location is probably not going to have the same problems as the older location.
I have only been to the Vernon location. Therefore my review was for that location.
I’ve flagged the rude review that mentioned my name, it’s against Unilocal TOS.
I stand by my original review, which was that I had a bad customer service experience and I won’t be back.

Unbelievable — we came to try Pedros Kitchen in Vernon and ordered beef and chicken fajitas for $ 13.50 and it came with two tortillas. We asked for more and she asked if we’d like to order more. They were going to charge us for more than two tortillas. I can’t believe it! You’ve got to be kidding me. There’s a charge for more than two tortillas.

The food was the typical «microwave» Mexican, but not bad on that scale. The main problem was the $ 10 margaritas which were not even that big! I had no idea they were that expensive and left this restaurant feeling gouged. Haven’t had to pay that much for a standard sized margarita ANYWHERE?! Pedro was nice but didn’t like feeling hosed so I probably won’t return.

Ate here the other night, absolutely terrible service. The waitress was also rude. She came over, took our order, waited roughly 40 minutes for them to serve our food even though no one else was there and immediately after that, she brought our check! I asked for her name several times, every time she replied with a crude remarks demanding why we wanted to know. Needless to say, we will never eat there again!
