The services are good, but a few really significant annoyances that really disrupt the spa experience. First, the check in area is open to the«relaxation» area before and after treatment. The acoustics are terrible, so while trying to relax you get the constant drone of both guests and employees chit-chatting. They need to wall it off. They also need to explain to their employees that it’s a spa, meant for relaxing, so constantly chattering with each other at high volume is not appreciated. Second, the locker rooms are abysmally small and under-equipped for the volume of guests. One toilet stall in the ladies and also the men’s(my husband joined me this visit) and he reported it was out of service! Lockers are also so tiny I had to empty my purse in order to store it. There were virtually no amenities and nowhere to easily put your stuff while getting changed. No counter space to do makeup or hair thanks to what was probably supposed to be a cool waterfall sink but ended up just annoying as no one could figure out how to use it. We then enjoyed the elemental journey for two — couples massage with some extras. The massage and scrub were wonderful, as was the soaking tub for two to follow. What came next can only be described as water torture. A steam room with side jet showers and what I am guessing was meant to be «rain showers» above. The problem was they were actually more like fire sprinklers shooting random pellets of water at you, and there was virtually no escaping them in the room. It was like getting caught in a rainstorm and not in a good way. I believe the idea was for the couple to «paint» each other with various body masks, but the second you did the inescapable water rinsed them off, so kind of pointless. In the final actual shower room, one of the shower heads so desperately needed a cleaning it was(again) randomly spraying water everywhere. Vitamin C facial really didn’t redeem the experience. I agree with other reviewers that it was rushed and virtually no time spent on extractions. Re-visiting reflections Tuesday and my memory is it was way better.

If I rated the facility on the staff and therapist I would give it a 5 star rating. The staff are warm and welcoming and the therapists are highly skilled. I was disappointed in the locker area. The air temperature was very cold. Cold air does not feel good after a relaxing massage or shower and your muscles tighten up. When you arrive they give you a locker that is supplied with 1 towel and a robe and slippers. The robe and towel were fine but the towel had hanging threads and the material pulled away. Not a good attention to detail. There were also no extra towels in the locker room. For spa of this nature, I would expect extra towels or at least 2 provided initially. All these things are quite fixable.

I actually booked this place because I wanted to go somewhere nice for my birthday. I called the hotline and they told me I can come in and make a appointment and so I can see how the Spa looks. Well I can say that everyone else was very nice except the people working in the Spa. I walked inside the Spa and the Woman did not even say Hi and made us feel like if we were lower class then her, she was very stuck up and when I asked to explain something she made us feel like if we were supposed know all this stuff already. I actually cancelled my appointment because of this reason, i just gotten really bad vibes. I will not be coming back here . The only Spa people who were nice was the ones who I was talking on the phone.

This spa is a part of my gym and as a gift from my family, I indulged in a deep tissue massage. As a new mother, this was precious time away from my family to pamper myself. The staff was very nice in welcoming me, but unfortunately my experience was unsatisfactory. I arrived a few minutes early to enjoy the spa atmosphere and enjoy a cup of tea before my massage. The water was cold and the seating uncomfortable. My massage was rushed. Not only was I cheated on time, but my massage therapist spent so much time with her hands off that I’d jump when she resumed the massage. My massage started at 8 pm and after I received a complimentary foot soak. When I got back to my stuff in the locker room, it was 8:44. Not quite a 50 minute massage. While I was trying to enjoy my foot soak, my massage therapist rushed past me to leave for the night. Overall I was very unimpressed and will not go again. I even tried multiple times to contact a supervisor/manager to discuss my experience and never received assistance. I would have used this spa regularly and now I will look elsewhere.

My wife loved her entire expeirience at Elements. It was amazing. Every massage she has gotten since then is compared to her experience at Elements. It is priced high, however the way she was pampered was totally worth it. She will be back for her next birthday and we love Crystal Springs too.

All the staff was prompt and cordial but they provide the worst facial. I left the spa with pimples and oily skin. My esthetician took no time on extractions, and didn’t even provide me any feed back in regards to my current skin condition. I’ve been to way better for much less. The second esthetician who did my pedicure forgot to use a base coat on my nails.

i’m sorry… i just have to :( i love the spa here. i have gotten a massage before and i loved it. that’s why i came back but… got my massage at 8pm. i didn’t get greeted til 805 the massage didn’t start til 810. i paid for a 50 minute massage so i thought i would be done by 9 but i was done by 850. not only that but my massage therapist basically was checked out(i could tell by her massage. i work in this field) and i was really disappointed. yea the waiting area is nice and it’s nice to finish off with rose petals in your feet(they basically rushed us out too because it was closing) but i paid a lot of money for this massage and i just feel like i didn’t get my money’s worth. won’t be back here again.

The reviews of the other folks here BLOWMYMIND… I couldn’t wait to write a review because clearly this reviews are very old, very outdated, and very unlike what the spa is now. Yes, you still go down the stairs and through the gym to get to the spa. So what? Once you enter, the professional and friendly ladies great you with a nice piece of paper that has my name, my scheduled treatment and my massage therapist’s name. That was a nice touch. We were given our locker room keys and were shown around the locker room. Only drawback to the locker room is that there is one toilet which, as an aside, has a front and backside heated water cleaner. Kinda weird, but if that’s your jam, go for it. The locker spot was a little tight with only one bench; again, a little meh. However, when you go and sit and await for your masseuse, you are seated in a very private area with water, amazing hot vanilla tea, granola, and other treats. People complain about the«clanking» of the beads; folks, sounds a bit like rain. Hang out in NYC for a day and tell me what noise really sounds like. This isn’t noise, it’s privacy, its cool looking, quit complaining. Once inside the room, I was expecting to hear people out side as I was in the room closest to the«holding areas», but I didn’t hear a thing except the pleasant background sounds and the voice of my ammmmazing mausser, Jamie. She had firm, kind hands and I walked out of there a different person. Was it THEBEST I have ever had? I don’t think so necessarily, but I was completely comfortable, completely realized, and completely ache-free for the first time in months. And now for the happy ending… Another holding area allows you to dip your feet in a little pool of rose petals and salts. The ladies bring you some ice water, and you can reflect on what just happened. This is a nice touch I have never, ever experienced before. So boo hoo to those past reviews that say they’re aren’t enough«amenities» included in the price of the massage. I get that it’s small town Vernon, but you are, in fact, at a resort, and there are many, many more resorts out there that could charge a whole lot more then these folks do. So kudos, friends, you make me want to come back to Minerals. Thank you.

I’ve been to Elements twice now. My first visit was 2 years ago when I was staying at the resort for a wedding. My massage was great. Can’t say the same for visit number two. I was staying at the resort again for the weekend with a big group of friends from college. Half of the group went skiing, the other half spent the day at the spa/pools/bar. Naturally, I went with the spa/bar. I had been looking forward to this massage since we booked the appointments a few weeks before but man, what a let down. My two friends were both called back to start their massages at least 5 minutes before I was and when I left the room neither had finished their massages yet… Not pleased. Not to mention the fact that my masseuse spent the first few minutes trying to convince me to add a few drops of a scent(lavendar or pomegranate/mango) to the lotion for an additional $ 5. Wasn’t interested but she was relentless. She asked me 4TIMES if I’d like to reconsider and 4TIMES I turned her down. She had me smell them, I said no thank you. She told me it was ‘only $ 5,’ I said no thank you. She asked me if I was sure, I said yes, I was sure and no thank you. Really? I could tell she was annoyed that I had said no and she spent the entire massage letting out loud ‘uhhhhhhgggggg’ noises. For $ 120 I expect better.

Just wanted to say we had a fabulous time at Elements. It was my sister’s 25th birthday and we did the«Girl’s Spa Get-A-Way» package, which included a 2 bedroom suite and a 50 min massage .The spa is beautiful. It was very clean and professional, and the massages were amazing. They put us all in white robes and sat us in a lounge area with granola, water, and tea. Then we proceeded into the massage room one by one. During our massages the power went out(due to snow storm) and they all just kept going like nothing happened. Liz did a great job!!! After the massages all 5 of us got to soak our feet in Epsom salt and rose petals, perfect touch to finish off. It was a very happy birthday and relaxing afternoon. Thanks Elements Spa!

My mother and I went here together — I got a facial, she got a massage. My facial was pretty great — my aesthetician was really sweet and wrote down everything she used on my skin. She was careful about what products she used, which I really appreciate since my skin is more sensitive than an angsty teenager with PMS, and I would have probably broken out in a horrible rash if she used anything even a little abrasive/harsh. Overall, my facial experience was awesome. However, my mother’s experience was atrocious. In fact, it was so terrible that I had to bring the review down to the minimum number of stars. The person giving her a massage was very visibly ill. My mom said her nose was running, she was coughing, sniffling, wiping her nose(though with her arm and not her hands, thank goodness). My mom, being the unnecessarily polite(and uncomfortable with the possibility of offending someone or hurting their feelings) person that she is, didn’t storm out angrily and demand her money back — she just told her that she would not be turning face-up so as to minimize the chances of her face being sneezed on. The lady(massage therapist? I do not know her qualifications) was fine with that. I called the next day, because that was the first opportunity that I had after finding out about my mom’s experience, and told them that maybe they need to improve their employee education or policies regarding not coming in to work with a communicable illness. My mom was mad at me for calling them about this because she doesn’t want the woman fired or penalized for what could have been a one-time mistake, but I think it’s a pretty egregious mistake — what if one of her clients had a shitty immune system for one reason or another? The average person’s cold or flu can easily turn to pneumonia for someone on certain medications or with certain illnesses(or even for your average elderly person)! Thank goodness my mom is in relatively good health, and the worst that will happen to her is maybe a cold or something, but what about other clients? This kind of thing can’t be condoned!

I was going to give 4 stars, but after reading the other three reviews it would make me look like an idiot. I do agree with some of their statements. I went to Elements last winter for the first time and got a couples massage and enzyme facial. Both amazing. The masseuse, Brianne, was fantastic, but unfortunately when I tried going back this winter for her they told me she no longer works there. The facial, though too expensive for what I can normally afford, was also awesome, and my normally overly dried skin stayed moisturized for weeks. I went back this winter for the facial and though it didn’t seem to last as long, it felt great after coming off the slopes. In combination with a day, or days, in the cold and wind, it is very much needed and appreciated. But I probably would not go here if it wasn’t for snowboarding. INRESPONSETOTHEOTHERREVIEWS: A) I didn’t find a problem with the metal, bead curtain. It does sway for a bit, but since I didn’t spend much time here it wasn’t an issue for me. B) I’ve made 3 appointments with them and they have all been kept. In fact, because of a snow storm the day prior, they let me change my appointment the day of — I live an hour South of Vernon. C) The sinks in the locker rooms are weird, as are the shapes of the lockers. For the sinks you have to put your hands behind the spout for the sensor to work. While aesthetically interesting, who knows how clean that shoot the water travels before actually hitting your hands. And for the lockers — I wonder if they get that many people in there at one time where they needed to skimp on the size of the lockers to fit more in. I suppose for the price there could be more amenities and it not so awkwardly placed on the other end of a hotel gym. I liked my services enough to go back again. But I’m still a rookie at this, and will probably keep searching for a cheaper/better/closer place to get massages and facials.

I wanted to enjoy this so badly, because I had more treatments here than I ever have had in one day. Just very disappointing. It made me really miss DePasquales. My massage was good. Just good. My facial was relaxing but I didn’t experience the«afterglow» I usually do. And the aesthetician must not like extractions because I asked for them and got zilch. My body polish was the most expensive thing and was mostly cold and awkward. They use a vichy shower(you lie on a table and get hosed off.) I could have exfoliated myself better with a threadbare washcloth and a bar of dove soap. My eyelash tint didn’t get my blond roots which was the WHOLEPOINT. My hairdresser didn’t listen even though I said three or four times I wanted my ends curled under. She straight-ironed my hair in spirals and I ended up curling it myself in my hotel room. The locker room has no steam shower and a weird sink faucet and awful overhead lighting. The lockers have compartments so your handbag wont fit unless you empty the contents out and fold it up. There were a lot of men there the day I went and they were(nervously?) chatty and too in my face. There should be a(distant) couples-only holding tank. The beaded curtain that separates the holding tank where they put you between services is obnoxious. It scrapes back and forth for ten minutes after some one comes or goes. Maybe the new Reflections spa at Grand Cascades will be better. How could it not be?
