I really like this place for their beer selection, and they have a good amount of wine as well considering how small the store is yet somehow they don’t make it seem cramped. Their prices on scotch are a little high, but they have a pretty decent selection for that as well.
One pretty obvious tip would be that there’s a walk-​in cooler in the back right corner that customers are expected to peruse themselves. If you walk into the cooler there’s a small room behind it with a good variety of micro brews.

What they lack in size, Riley’s Liquor Store makes up in quality inventory. Be it hard-​to-​find local beers, or sought-​after wines, James and his staff make it a point to get what you’re looking for.
Located conveniently on Rt 30 near I-​84 off of exit 65, Riley’s has competitive prices and stocks up on good stuff typically not found at other smaller shops. For a certain type of craft beer geek, there’s a size-​able beer cave that would please any beer snob. As far as liquor and spirits, they’re is an OK inventory. Although they can order anything, anytime for you — I’d like to just walk in and try a new whiskey/​bourbon/​tequila without having to wait.
Staff is knowledgeable and always helpful.

This store is an incredible «diamond in rough» in the Vernon area. The selection is vast, especially when it comes to beer! If you’re a beer snob, you can literally spend hours scouring thru their beer cave, which is hidden in the back. EXTREMELY impressed with the options, and the prices are right in line with the big box stores.
To top it all off, James and his team provide world-​class customer service, something you don’t normally expect from your local liquor store. Check it out SOON!

Riley’s liquor store is my official new favorite liquor store. The owner went out of his way and definitely above and beyond to help me get my hands on some particularly elusive beers I wanted as a wedding gift for my fiancé. Any liquor store that provides such amazing customer service gets an a+ in my books.
