Have been there a few times and they always exceeded my expectations. Angela is great, but I also had others cut my hair and they are good too.

Horrible, horrible haircut by «Solange». Really didn’t want to be there, almost started cutting my hair before asking. Definitely was a little short with her after, but still tipped. Left before she could do more damage. If you do come here, avoid the blonde dyed Hispanic lady. She pretty much just took a whack at my hair and didn’t have any idea what she was doing. I’ll be surprised if she’s still there by the end of this week.

I have been going to Angela, a pretty European woman, for years! Every time I get my haircut, I get to know her a little bit better. She has 25 years of experience under her belt! My hair is wavy and frizzy and everytime I want to change it, she advises me to what would be the ideal choice for me. She greets me with a smile each time and is professional. She knows exactly what is best for my face shape, my eye color, as well as my body. She always recommends the best products for my frizzy hair. The only reason why I go to Supercuts in Vernon Hills is because this is the place where I get the best quality service. I would also like to make a note that although I only go to Angela, everyone else at the salon is friendly and is never rude when I tell them I would rather wait 30 minutes for her than to go to the next available stylist. Thank you Angela and her co-workers! :)

I am unsure of the womans name who cut my hair last Saturday, but if she is reading this, thank you. You did a wonderful job. You are a short woman with glasses and a weird accent. However, you took your time and made sure my hair looked Super. It was probably the longest hair cut I ever had, but its because she was very precise. The whole salon thought John Stamos just got his hair cut.

Yes it’s a bargain haircut place — but still, this left a lot to be desired. I usually go to Hair Cuttery, but I had a $ 5 coupon for Supercuts from the Sunday paper. The interior struck me as pretty run down and unclean. Particularly the bathroom — a hodge podge of random storage thrown in there like what you’d find at a gas station bathroom, and not very clean. The woman who cut my hair(blonde with an Eastern European accent) was pretty lousy. Not personable at all, not warm. She asked me questions about my layers, but I didn’t understand what she meant. When I asked for clarification she just kept repeating the same thing. During the cut, she used *minimal* water, so she was basically cutting my hair totally dry. My hair is wavy, so as she used her comb it straightened it out into almost frizz. I’ve never had my hair cut dry before. I’m not a beautician by any means, but it didn’t seem like a good thing. Her cell phone rang LOUDLY during the cut, which was in her pocket and immediately next to my head. She should have silenced it, or even answered it, rather than let it ring to VM into my ear. Better yet, put it on vibrate when you’re working. Or leave it in your purse. Full price would have been $ 13.95($ 16.95 to get a shampoo, too). So glad I didn’t pay full. Hair Cuttery scores better in all categories. I’ll be going back there, coupon or no coupon.
