Tacos Chifo

Sorry, Ventura, I’m letting this secret out of the bag. On our way home from an Angels night game we stopped in Ventura for some coffee and a taco, but everything was closed! We found a local that told us about this truck on ‘the ave’. Now, every time we go to LA I need to make a pit stop here.
Admittedly, I like Mexican food that is authentic, tastes good, is cheap and there’s lots of it. I don’t care if the environment is a hole in the wall. If you are the same then you will love this place. They have 10 different types of tortas and they are big enough to feed two grown men. The asada quesadilla had meat layered an inch thick. The tacos pastor were bomb.
We fed four people for $ 11.
