Stopped by this morning after a photography job, and walked into the most amazing smell!!! When I commented, I was told they were just making their waffles would I like one, well, of course! Sat outside, had a wonderful few moments enjoying coffee and a waffle.

Our family loves this place. As a family with multiple members with multiple allergies we appreciate finding a bakery with options.

My Sundays just got a little better… If you think my pictures of these sticky buns look amazing, just imagine how amazing they taste? Hurts doesn’t it ;) After my maaaaaad cravings of sweets yesterday from the moment I woke up, sticky buns were all that I could think of so you can only imagine how excited I was when I woke up this morning.(Let’s just say it was Christmas morning for me) Just follow that heavenly smell… Okay so let me give you the lowdown on these pretty yummy creations from a sweet, local town bakery(reasons why you need to pay them a visit): 1. Kathryn & Marty; the owners are super sweet, honest, local folk. 2. Sticky buns are only offered every 2 weeks on Sundays, so plan ahead plus they always sell out. 3. The sticky buns are delectably delicious, especially fresh out the oven 4. Great local, small town feel as soon as you enter the bakery shop. 5. They offer gluten-free and vegan products at reasonable prices Growing up I was raised on eating Morning Buns and Sticky Buns from a local farmers market. When I found out that right my backyard they were selling something so yummy from my childhood, I was stoked. It was nice to reminisce as I ate my bun this morning. These buns are best riiiiiight out the oven so again, arrive early-you’ll thank me later. The smell alone will tantalize you. As I tore off my first piece, I knew I was getting that much closer to heaven. *Kathryn paints on a citrus, caramel glaze atop the buns which provides the right amount of sweetness with every bite. The texture of each piece is light, airy and fluffy, you can taste the freshness. Finally after 4 bites, I found myself in the center of the bun where all the juiciness of citrus caramel lives; I was in my happy place. I wish the caramel glaze was more throughout the bun versus just on top, just so it help the bun have moisture when you re-warm it later… As I was licking the excess citrus, caramel glaze from my fingers… I knew that this was not going to be my last time visiting Sticky Fingers Baking Company. Thanks again Kathryn, your product is delicious and Marty, than you for the warm welcome. My hubs and I felt right at home. Even the local customers for this establishment are pretty cool too! It’s time to schedule your visit in 2 weeks for your very own, sticky bun. Enjoy!!! Hashtag: Sticky Bun Sunday, every 2 weeks!

Hot, Fresh, gooey, cinnamony, sticky bun just as advertised. Picked it up at 9:32 on Sunday. No line. Waited 2 minutes. Great with coffee. Parts of the outside were a bit caramelized which made it extra decadent. Would definitely come back. Would have given it 5 stars but.2 things– would be nice with a little cream cheese frosting(or at least offered on the side for like .50), and $ 5 is a hefty price for sugar and bread(although delicious, seems a bit much).

One of the few bakeries in town that actually serve fresh pastries and cupcakes made from quality ingredients. The selection might be minimal on certain days, but I’ll take it knowing that what I’m about to eat was freshly baked that same day using nothing but quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference there are no fillers or artificial flavors like so many big-name coffee shops. I am happy to support a business like this in hopes of keeping them around forever. The sticky buns are only served every other Sunday and they are delicious. It’s a nice place to take yourself for a little afternoon treat.

As a real estate agent I’m always trying to find ways to feed the masses, but stand out in the process. Sticky Fingers was the perfect fit in that regard. I called in, explained what I needed and they made great suggestions which turned out to be the perfect spread for my event. Everything was full of flavor and you can tell right away that it is baked with love. Thanks so much for making my event a memorable one.

Very exciting to have a place like this in Ventura! It’s pretty pricey but worth every penny!

what a pleasant surprise, was in the area and just needed a quick coffee and a muffin and boy am I glad I stopped by. Think quality, not quantity. Greeted by a pleasant lady behind the counter, asked about few of the choices, she recommended the chocolate raspberry muffin and I went along with it. The muffin was perfectly moist, flavourful, and honestly one of the best muffins I have ever had. So good that I actually called her and told her so.

I’ve been wanting to come here forever but always miss them. Small batch so I think they close after they sell out. I don’t typically eat vegan or gluten free options but I had a vegan lemon poppy seed muffin and it was moist and melted in my mouth. Literally delicious. It smells fabulous in here and such a cute atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the desserts with coffee.

My new favorite place to grab a treat! The first time I had a pecan carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting… DELICIOUS!!! I couldn’t wait to go back. I try to find any reason to make it to Ventura to grab a few treats. I would probably be there almost daily if it wasn’t 20 minutes from my house. Worth the trip and the price. I’ve tried a few other cupcakes and loved them just as much. A breakfast muffin I had one time did not disappoint and the gluten free cookie was fantastic as well! I look forward to trying their sticky buns one of these Sundays, as well as the waffles and rum cake.

Cute little place. I came here on a whim while visiting a friend in Ventura recently; and while driving around one morning in search of a little café to grab a treat, this charming little place just happened to acquire my attention. The place is small, though adoringly cute — consisting of a classic pink and black color scheme. They had a small array of(mostly) gluten free pastries this particular morning, with them all looking quite uniquely delicious. They are a tad pricey, but not horrendous. I ended up getting a chocolate lavender scone for myself. A carrot muffin for my friend, and a almond milk latte. I also picked up one of their super cute, Sticky Fingers, vintage style coffee mugs that I could not resist. Service from the owner was nice, though a little standoffish. My latte was just ok — almond milk didn’t necessarily taste the best. My lavender scone was decent, consistency was between soft and crisp, though just a tad dry. Flavor was nice though, with it being just mildly sweet, finished off with just a hint of lavender that lingered — good accommodation with your morning joe. My friend really enjoyed her carrot muffin. Overall, can’t say I’d be eager to come back again, but I certainly would not turn down trying them again.

Sticky fingers never let’s me down. Small batch baking means there won’t be a ton to choose from but what is there will be fresh and amazingly delicious. Their gluten free vegan chocolate chip cookie is to die for. I’m not gluten free or vegan but can’t have dairy. Everyone I take always finds something they love. This is a favorite spot to take my out of town guests and I particularly love taking people who are skeptical of gluten free desserts there just to blow their minds. This place proves gluten free and vegan treats can be amazing! Thanks for alway making my day!

Rather good. We ordered cupcakes. They were expensive and, well, quite good. Most people found the chocolate cupcakes to be better than the vanilla cupcakes. We were under the general opinion that Sticky Fingers makes the common mistake of putting too much icing on their cupcakes. While the taste is good, they are like sugar bombs in your mouth. This place can sometimes feel snooty, like the customer is lucky to get whatever they feel like making. They close up shop whenever they run out of things to sell which adds not to the exclusivity of the baked goods but rather to the self-serving vibe the place gives off. I’m being generous with 4 stars but not overly so. Sticky Fingers is, again, rather good, but they have some room to grow before they are amazing.

I’ve been wanting to go here for years. I’m glad we finally did. My hubby and I came here for a breakfast date. He ordered the coffee cake muffin and I ordered the coconut lime gluten free muffin. They were both amazing!!! We will be back!

I am sitting in the Sticky Fingers shop right now — having just finished a soy latte and my favorite gluten-free Double Chocolate cookie — watching customers come in to satisfy their sweet tooth. The concept of this unique«small batch» bakery is, as the owner just told a patron, to bake enough each day with the goal to «sell out.» It’s 11:54 and the case is nearing empty… And I am so glad to have snagged my cookie when I did! Products range from traditional to vegan and gluten free. There is almost always a supply of tantalizing, naturally gluten-free French Macarons in the refrigerator(so make sure you ask about them!) And Katherine will gladly bake custom orders for your special occasions =) Thank you, Sticky Fingers! May you continue to prosper!

Let me just start with how cute this little shop is. And the owners — super nice! But more importantly — The Red Velvet cupcake is the best I have ever tried! I didn’t like Red Velvet, I honestly didn’t understand it. Well, guess what? Sticky Fingers taught me why it is such an amazing and popular flavor. And for that I thank them from the bottom of my heart! :)

So I was confused when I bit into the waffle, because the menu clearly said waffle but what I got was a piece of bread that was shaped like a waffle. I can confidently say that it was the worst«liege waffles» ever. I am going to post some pictures that describes how doughy and bread-y this waffle was. I am pretty sure whoever made this has no idea what a liege waffle actually is… Which is strange because other customers seemed to get legit liege waffles based on the Unilocal pictures(the reason we decided to go there) Compare and contrast the waffle I got vs the ones that other people got. I don’t know if the lady helping us were serving us reconstituted blended eggos because she assumed my friend didn’t know what a liege waffle is. But it was insulting. I look forward to the owner’s response. Look at the picture and see if it is consistent with what you have served up in the past, and let me know if my anger is unwarranted. One of the owners responded to my Unilocal review. Having thought about how I feel about the place with my head cooled down, I edited my review to reflect the change. One thing that I thought strange was that when the owner was giving his side of the story, he told me that the waffle was actually $ 5. I think I was definitely overcharged then, because I just checked my recent activity on my account and the total transaction amount minus the banana bran muffin I got did not amount to $ 5. And I believe the mini menu specifically designed just to advertise the flash frozen waffles that are made weekly did not say $ 5. Please check your pricing before telling me that I am wrong.
