Lauren Shoemate at Studio Stevee Lynn is absolutely phenomenal! I am very picky about who I let «play with my hair», but I can ALWAYS trust Lauren to do an absolute flawless job. My natural hair is very curly, frizzy, and hard to manage. I have gotten Lauren’s keratin treatment multiple times now, and it is worth every cent and more. I have received the same treatment at two other salons in the past but have NEVER had such smooth, healthy, and manageable hair. You CAN’T GO WRONG going to Lauren! She is an all around great stylist, colorist, and human being. I recommend a thousand times over, she will make you feel like a supermodel! GO WITH LAUREN!

When it comes to hair, color, and style Lauren is amazing and extremely talented. She will be honest with what will work and what won’t. She is so nice and an all around amazing person. I wouldn’t go to anyone else when it comes to my hair. Not only is she talented but her prices are reasonable and can be fit into anyone’s price range but is still that five star experience that everyone wishes for.

She does cuts, trims, up-​dos, braids, color, extensions, and sells her favorite products. I’ve been seeing Stevee for my cut and color at other locations throughout the years but her growing success has opened so many opportunities that she now OWNS her salon. (SUPPORT local business!)
From tools to shampoo, her products are always top of the line with the newest and best trending for hair and hair care. I used to buy deep conditioners from Pureology but I’ve switched to Living Proof. I love her honesty about what’s right for you. She isn’t there to sell because she takes great pride in her work.
Her small and cozy one-​chair salon is well suited for one-​on-​one attention and personalized service. She has a very artistic spirit and is great at suggesting new cuts or colors that are on the forefront of «trendy.» Nothing last season or old school about her styling.
Stevee is all about investing in self-​care and helping you feel confident about your own unique style. I always leave feeling like I can conquer the world with my new (or improved) ‘do! Well worth the visit!

Stevee is the hair goddess. Perfect natural color. Lauren is also fantastic! If you see anyone walking around with perfect sun kissed looking hair, I guarantee it was at the hands of Stevee or Lauren. Both girls are incredibly friendly and talented! You won’t regret booking with either of them!

Lauren Shoemate is amazing!!! I won’t let anyone but her touch my hair. I refer everyone I know to her. Not only does she take her time n make sure your hair is absolutely perfect (how u want it) but she makes u feel like a supermodel. I know Lauren uses the best products and doesn’t try to charge you an arm and a leg like most hair salons. Besides the fact that she is the best in town at what she does her hands are magic. Stevee is out of this world. Her talents are on trend and her ability to create a natural sun kissed look is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I moved to Ventura two years ago and found myself looking for a new hairdresser. I was referred to Stevee Lynn by an acquaintance. Stevee was working at another salon at the time, from the moment she got her hands on my hair it was magic With her as your hairstylist you will be impressed with her honesty and vision, she will let you know what colors will work with your complexion, and what cuts are flattering to your shape of face. Example: My hair is straight as a board and my face is round, hairdressers in the past limited me to one particular style because that’s what they knew and would never think outside of the box, with Stevee I took in a picture of a style cut I wanted, and she was able to modify it to flatter the frame of my face and get this my hair has bounce now! As for her hair color expertise the lady is pure genius! I get daily compliments on my color and I can see why she’s won Ventura County Readers Favorite Hair Stylist/​Colorist 2013 & 2014. While her services are on the high side your cuts last longer than the average stylist and I can go about 8 weeks before needing a retouch, so in my opinion for the quality of service, it’s worth every penny.
