Excellent service first time customer at Solymar Tan I’m very happy with my tan looks awesome

I’m very happy with Solymar. I’ve gone twice, and both times I got a beautiful tan and a huge boost of confidence. I intend to keep going every two weeks throughout the rest of spring and summer.
To my fellow women with large and/​or pendulous breasts– Firstly, Lacey made me feel comfortable and assured. Secondly, know that you’ll lift your breasts while she tans your ribs and under-​boob area. Because of the way a layer of makeup sits atop your actual tan the first few hours until you shower, your breasts will NOT rub the tan off, even if you elect to leave bra-​less.
You can be dressed to whatever level you like for the tan, so both times I wore only my underwear. The first time I wore a lacy pair, and that was a mistake, because the tan goes through it slightly. I suggest a solid pair with no ruffles, if you choose to wear any.
This isn’t like the Friends episode where Ross stands in a booth and is sprayed from little jets with no concern for his height and body type and with confusing directions. An actual human sprays you and takes into account every contour of your body.
The whole process was quick and easy. I was in and out in 10 mins, both times.

Love love love my tan… went there 3 days before my wedding with my sister… omg we loved it… first of all… i have body image issues so i planned on wearing my bra and underwear while getting tanned, but the tech was sooooo sweet and professional it didnt seem weird that i ended up in just my thong… i didnt get embarrassed a bit. The price is super affordable plus i wasnt a bit orange. Seriously what more could you ask for??? I totally would suggest anyone looking for a great tan to go there.

I love this place! After visiting Solymar Tan, when I admit to some that it’s fake, they are honestly shocked because they really believed it was natural. Get a lighter layer of the darker color as that looks the most natural in my opinion. Monique is the best but all of the technicians are attentive and nice. I’ve been here more times I can count on one hand and always love to go before big parties, tropical vacations, or vegas trips.

Tan was ok. A bit too orange though. Paige doesn’t have great customer service, she is short, too the point, and not too friendly. I will not be going back. I heard there is a sweet gal who does organic spray tans on Market street, think I’ll try her next.

I went here based on price and reviews — I looked all over Unilocal for nearby tanning salons with good reviews, then looked on the websites for the most inexpensive one. I found that Solymar was the best match. I had never had a spray tan before and was a little uncomfortable, but they were so helpful. Over the phone, they told me exactly what I had to do (exfoliate, no lotion, wear loose clothes, etc) and made me feel very comfortable. It cam be very awkward standing stark naked (though you may wear a bathing suit or something, I chose not to) in front of a stranger while they spray down your body, I was surprisingly comfortable! And I’m genuinely awkward– so that says a lot! She was just talking to me about her store and life and asking me about mine. I really recommend this place! Apparently they do hair and other spa stuff too, I might look into that as well.
The only thing is the place is a little hard to find. It’s down a staircase in a house, but they give you pretty good directions.

I just went here a week ago with my friend who was getting married, she recommended it, I was a bridesmaid and we both needed some color. Not only did I need some color, but also I have a tendency to turn red when even the slightest bit nervous, I was hoping that the tan would hide any blushing that would happen. I am beyond happy! The girl that applied the tan was friendly and professional, we had a great time. I felt like I should have been more uncomfortable (I was topless), but she makes it nearly impossible with her sweet charm. Almost immediately, I fell in love with the tan. Not only did it look fantastic, but it boosted my self-​confidence, I felt like I had never looked so good! It’s even, beautiful, and so natural. I have had people coming up to me asking how I got such a gorgeous tan (something this blond-​haired, irish, white girl is not used to!!), no one has believed it was a spray tan. Mostly, I have been told how healthy I look. From the handful of pictures I have seen, I’m thrilled with how it looked at the wedding and I have not seen a hint of blushing in photos! It was worth every cent! I’m addicted. I live in the San Fernando Valley and I think I will be making the hour drive to see her again… often!

I have had the best experiences at Solymar! I’ve gotten numerous tans here and every single one turns out great! It looks natural and not at all orange-​y. Best of all you get the tan you want without having to go into the sun. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. I will definitely keep going back. Try the organic spray! It’s the best and doesn’t smell at all!

This was my first visit to a spray tanning salon, so I was very nervous. I decided to get sprayed without undergarmets. Typically, I wouldnt even dare bare it all to a stranger, but it was a quiet professional environment and it was just me and the owner. The tan itself looked awesome at first after applied because the bronzer give you that ulitimate golden glow that you wish for. I was told to wash off the bornzer 8 – 10 hours after the application. Also, had to wear looser fitted clothing. I started to notice my tan developing about 6 hours after and was prompt to wash it around 8 hours. Everything looked great, but my legs. For some reason, from my waist up, my body got a natural glow, but my legs turned orange. I cant say Im surprised. The owner told me it was a possibility. I was just hoping I wouldnt be that statistic. I went for the lightest possible color and it seemed to be darker than I thought it would. Therefore, if you are very fair skinned like me than go lighter than darker at first. Trust me.

Awesome. Just awesome. Nice gals. My color is always nice & even and fades slowly. They take a lot of time to make sure they get every part of you is evenly bronzed. They wipe your palms & ankles after so they don’t tan. They make you feel very comfortable and not rushed. The price is great! I drive from Camarillo. Well worth the drive.

I got married back in April and was scheduled to have my spray tan done two days before at another salon along with my two bridesmaids. We showed up for our appt. and as soon as the girl went to spray my maid of honor, her spray tip broke making it impossible. Not her fault whatsoever so we weren’t upset with her, but all panicked because it was our last chance to get some color on our pasty skin. We had heard about Solymar and decided to get it a shot that they would maybe have time for 3 people last minute. Not only did Mary squeeze us in right away, but did a phenomenal job on all of us! I had the most beautiful color with no streaks anywhere. I’ve gone back a few times since and have always looked amazing. Plus Mary makes you feel so comfortable in what can be a really uncomfortable setting. I would highly recommend it!
