Love this place and there is absolutely nobody in my circle of trust who would ever call me a girly-​girl. Went in tonight searching for the perfect shade of green to celebrate my one girl vice-​pedicures. They didn’t have anything close to what I was looking for but that didn’t stop Carissa (not sure but she was super sweet!) from embarking on the quest with me. The help was definitely appreciated!

Best place in Ventura County to get your salon brand products, they carry different sizes and products from make-​up, to hair care, to blow dryers and straighteners.
I’ve always found the staff helpful, they don’t try to coddle you which I like… I look and then I ask and they are more than willing to help me find what I’m looking for,
I even found a hard to find salon shampoo that my old hairdresser had told me was only available to beauticians… For shame I caught her in a fib.

This place is pure hair product porn. It’s even a bit dingy and scary towards the back. But it has everything you could want to make yourself pretty. The eyelash and hairbrush section alone is enough to make the mascara flow down your face. I can’t believe I have driven by this place for so long on my way to another beauty supply store of less caliber. Never again, I say. This place is my newest dirty addiction.

I love going to pro beauty. The have such a HUGE selection of nail polish and make up and hair products. I mainly go to their store to seek hard to find and new nail polishes. They carry zoya, OPI, Orly and many more. They get in new collections frequently. I also think that the owner is very nice and helpful.
Overall I would recommend to visit this beauty store for your beauty needs… because they have many high end brands and good pricing.

This is the greatest store to go to for unique products not typically carried in mainstream department stores. There’s a large selection of salon brand hair products for reasonable prices. Of course, these products are «the good stuff» — so you pay more for quality.
I bought a hot waxer there, with wax strips and bees wax. I can’t help but think about the dude from «The 40 –Year Old Virgin» getting his chest hair waxed and the way he screamed. Omg… It just cracks me up! :0)
I’ve purchased a lot of beauty products from Pro Beauty throughout the years and I’ll continue to shop there. The owner is really sweet and so are the people who work there.

They carry brands and products you just can’t find ANYWHERE outside of a salon, and at really great prices. They aisles are narrow but the shelves are overflowing with product. Hair, nails, skin, they’ve got it all. Drop in and try out something new. High quality, salon grade products.
The service has always been great and friendly. This is the only store I shop at for my beauty needs.

I came in to this store after visiting Rite Aid and not finding the product I needed– hair gel that makes your hair lighten in the sun. I was slightly put off with the arrangement of the store– stuff everywhere! On the floor, piled high everywhere I looked. The whole place is cluttered with products. I felt a little claustrophobic walking down the aisles and I didn’t know where to start to try and find the product I needed so I went to the front counter to ask for help.
The two women at the counter were having a conversation and it seemed that they didn’t want to make eye contact with me. I didn’t want to interrupt and after a few seconds I considered just walking out but one of them made eye contact with me. No hello or a «can I help you» so I asked if they had the hair gel I was looking for. I was expecting one of the women to just say no but she did lead me to a hair lightener with peroxide in it. I was surprised to find out they didn’t have anything similar to what I was looking for since they have so many products. I left empty handed but ended up finding what I needed at CVS. I highly doubt I’ll return.

This is the best beauty supply store you would ever find in southern california (because I have never been to another beauty supply store outside of california, I wouldnt know if there are any better ones). They have everything! They are fully stocked with DERMALOGICA now which is my favorite skincare line, but they have other really good lines too. They have almost every haircare line out there from Bedhead, Suds fx, Redken, ABBA, Hemp, you name it. not to mention Moroccan Oil which does wonders to your hair. Its behind the counter on the shelf with all the other hair serums from every single line (I guess they put em all there bcuz people jack em) so you have to ask. If you are looking for the high-​end expensive hair straigheners, they got all of them here too. They also carry all OPI nail colors which I love bcuz its hard to find a beauty supply store that carry all the new colors. They even have the nail gels which are so expensive but if you have a uv nail dryer, try em bcuz you will never go back to using your regular top coat. The owner is a really nice and kind man. He tries to answer all of your questions and help finding anything you need. Best of all, they give you a 10% discount on your total balance. Who can beat that?

This is THE place for your beauty needs. When I need anything from my Zoya nail polish to shampoo, I come here. They carry rare and exotic brands and rare OPI colors plus the full Zoya line.

As somebody who has been referred to as a product junkie or (less nicely) a product whore, this is my kind of place. I’ve been addicted to this place, er, I mean shopping at this place since it opened back in 1997. I think this is the best beauty supply store EVER. Yes EVER. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sephora, I could spend hours wandering the aisles of ULTA or Target’s beauty and personal care section and I spend more time at certain department store cosmetic counters than I’d like to admit. But Pro Beauty is a treasure trove of beauty loot. The shelves and bins brim with products from the natural: Weleda, California Baby, Klorane, Burt’s Bees to designer: Paul Mitchell, Redken, ABBA, di: fi, Crew, Bedhead, Phyto Organics… the list is endless. They have a full selection of beauty styling tools from straighteners to blow dryers to curling irons or hot curler sets. Nothing too small is over looked. Do you want tweezers? How about the whole Tweezerman line of grooming tools plus some alternate grooming tool brands? Yep, they got ‘em. How about nail polish? Various of the O.P.I series collections plus Essie and other brands all there. Hair accessories and brands like Smoothies hair bands. A few different makeup lines, professional hair coloring color kits, perm and relaxant kits, materials for waxing from wax to numbing cream, face masks, bath salts, lotions, hair brushes that range in price from $ 2.00 to $ 200.
The depth and breadth of the product range at Pro Beauty never ceases to amaze me. Not even Ricky’s in New York holds a candle to Pro Beauty of Ventura. Yep, sorry New Yorkers, I said it. Ricky’s ain’t got nothin’ on Pro Beauty. Pro beauty is a wonderland of beauty products.
