I love this place & they never seem to disappoint me. I would always go to Zarna but my new favorite is Jessica she never fails me ! I don’t trust anyone else.

Great place to have your eyebrows shaped. I was told it’s quite painful, but for me it’s about the same as waxing, I would say Even less painful than waxing!
When I walked in I was greater right away
And I was seated, very professional.
I will definitely be coming back

Sandra is the best eye brow threader! Layla’s is the best place to go to get your eye brows done! Definitely try our Sandra, she will shape and clean your eye brows up perfectly! Never going anywhere else!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This is my go-​to place and Jessica is my go-​to Girl. She’s been threading my eyebrows for about 4 years now. She does an amazing job and is very gentle.

I’ve had my eyebrows threaded before but today was my first time getting them done at Layla’s and I am definitely going back! Jessica did my eyebrows and she was so gentle and really listened to what I wanted.

I love this place and Angie does a wonderful job! I love how my eyebrows look after and will never go back to waxing now.

Eyebrows are everything. It helps clean up & define the look! My sisters introduced me to threading years back when I was in high school. This is how I stopped getting eyebrows waxed because threading lasts longer (2+ weeks recommended trip). From a girl who has sensitive skin, the pain level is moderate. If you’re a first timer, be prepared for a possible couple tears. I still tear up now & then, even though I’m used to it by now.
My first threading experience wasn’t in Ventura County. I’ve had my fair share of threading experiences & the one place I wouldn’t recommend are the ones at the mall. I’ve come across people who were still learning how to thread there.
I go to this location the most because 1) it’s local, 2) the staff are friendly, 3) majority of them know what they’re doing & take their time, & 4) I found the one person I trust with my eyebrows.
JESSICA is my go to girl! Super sweet girl, gets to know her clients a bit, easy to converse with, & specifically asks what you want. If your eyebrows need to be fixed, grow a little more, or if you don’t need too much threading on the area, she will tell you! She takes her time, let’s you know what she’s doing (while your eyes are squinting, closed), & will offer aloe vera & a trim at the end if you’d like.
4 out of 5 stars because this is the closest decent price around the city that I’ve come across. With Jessica’s service, I’d give this place a 5, but I’m only taking a star off because of the price. My very first threading experience was $ 5 (LBC area) & you don’t find that anywhere around here. Layla’s is $ 11 for eyebrows. I’ve been here too much to know that January’s specials are less for the entire month. Do yourself an additional thread on the upper lip & chin & sometimes they have specials for $ 16, but originally $ 22+.
The service here is fast. I would say their rush hour is random throughout the middle part of the day. Walk-​ins are welcome, but if you have a specific person to do your eyebrows, make sure you check-​in & write the person’s name. When I went this past week, there were 3 people before me waiting for Jessica! I’ve had Sandra before as well & if Jessica’s not around, I’d go to her next.

I seriously love this place! All the girls are so friendly as soon as you walk threw the door. Sandra is seriously the best though, she always does such an amazing job! She never fails to amaze me.

My go to threading spot, I’m very picky and hesitant when it comes to people doing my brows, especially by a worker I’ve never had do mine, but I must say I just got done by Sandra and they are ON POINT! She’s definitely my new favorite

First time ever getting my eyebrows threaded and loved it! I was in and out the door in twenty minutes and my brows look perfect. I will definitely be back!

Being male and getting your eyebrows threaded is not always the most comfortable feeling but Jessica makes me feel comfortable and look great. Jessica does a awesome job. she’s fast and remembers how I like my eyebrows. I would definitely recommend her and Laylas. Thanks Jessica

You can’t beat $ 9 to get your brows done. They’ve always done a great job no matter who did them. I’ve always left happy.

This was my first time here. I almost didn’t go in because the prices are higher than the other place I’ve been to. All I have to say is that I loved the service here. They take their time, it’s not painful, and the girl who did my eyebrows even told me what she did to each eyebrow. She told me some differences in my eyebrows I didn’t even know. She also cleaned off the hair with toner. The other place I’ve been going to hands me the Tiber on a tissue, they work very fast, and it hurts from pressing the thread into my face. I am definitely glad I decided to give this place a try.

If been going to Layla in Ventura since they were located at the Pacific View Mall back in 2011. I go regularly and nearly always see Zarna. She does the best job! I highly recommend this location. The service is fast and friendly, the salon is always clean and you can’t beat the price, especially if you have one of their coupons that are regularly in the local flyers. I took my 13 year-​old daughter and husband for the first time last month and they were both pleased with their experience.

I used to go to Layla in Oxnard, but because of its location and long wait time, I decided to give this location a try… I am soooo glad I did. My brows were done by Jessica (?) she has been threading for 4 years. and I love my brows. They are nice and clean, plus she kept my shape which was really important for me.
This location seems much more organized than the one in Oxnard. This location actually has a sign-​in log, in which they seem to truly follow. This place also has appointments, which is another reason I will be coming here and NOT Oxnard. They truly hold true to their appointments and respect their time.
Note to self: make an appointment with Jessica for next time.
Layla’s is located in a strip mall, the one that has Ross in it. Wouldn’t really recommend it at night, so plan to get your brows done during the day.

It was my first time at Layla’s yesterday. I thought my eyebrows were going to get ruined for valentine’s day. Let me tell you. They came out great. I will diffinitly be coming back! Thearding felt good atfer a while though it did hurt. The lady had a lovely accent and kept me calm. Overall great customer service.

I don’t understand how Courtney is complaining about one of the girls because Kacey did my eyebrows and she was GREAT! Awesome customer service, everything was clean and my eyebrows look awesome! Some people just like to complain I suppose…
Anyway, Layla’s is a fantastic place for threading and I highly recommend KACEY!!! Well done!

I have never had a nad experience at this place until Friday. I usually go to Sandra, but she was busy and going with my gut I should have just waited for her. Instead, I went with another girl who was not busy. I told her I just needed a clean and told her how I wanted my shape. Kid you not 2 minutes into it I could tell she was new and all I kept thinking was I hope she knows what she’s doing. She did one eyebrow and I was content wuth it. She proceeded to do the next eyebrow and I found that one was in face thinner than the other. I asked the girl to take off what I needed to make them look halfwsy decent. I asked her, do you feel one if thinner than the other? She said no, but if u want someone else to do them you can. At that point I know she could tell I was frustrated. I mean it’s my face and I want my eyebrows damn near perfect if possible at all. I tell her to finish, and when she completes them. I just said thanks I guess this will do. I mean, once hair is gone u can’t put it back, and I wanted to leave with some eyebrows.
She tells me sge wiuld charge me $ 5 instead of the $ 10. In my head, I was like you shouldn’t even get that. I paid anyway.
About an hour later, I’m having a convo about my experience with someone I know and this is what I had discovered. A tweet about me and apparently someone else the day before. All I can say is you never who knows who and somethings should be left off social media. But since you openly admitted, that you felt I was being «rude» because I’m paying for service that you should be more than. happy to do I’ll, put you on blast and tell people to NEVER sit in your chair. NEVER GO TO KACEY. She obviously as no customer service skills whatsoever.

Loved it!
I happened to be in town visiting a friend. I was hairy in the face in ways that you can only imagine. Try not to imagine it.
I called in and was informed that I didn’t need an appointment. So I rushed over, happily took a seat in the open chair and marveled at my more lady-​like appearance ten minutes later. I returned to my friend’s house with the confidence of a woman who was ready to face the world in her nicely cleaned up face.
Incredibly pleasant people at Layla. Cute space and very easy parking. This would be my go-​to spot if I lived closer.
