Arco / AM PM

Does not accept credit. At all. It’s 2016. This is horribly inconvenient for a gas station to only accept credit or debit.

Clean restrooms — great prices on snacks. What more could you ask. My favorite gas station in Ventura/​Oxnard for sure!

The gas prices here are good here in town and the location right off of the freeway is very good for commuting. There always are people here so trying to get a pump can be annoying. There’s only 2 other gas stations that are cheaper and they are way out of the way and difficult to get to. Getting here off of the road can be dangerous too because the lot is quite full most of the time.

Another gas station, another short review. I really don’t have much to say about gas stations, but I actually went inside this time.
First, getting a pump was tough. Because it’s right off the freeway, it was pretty packed. I found a pump and went inside to grab a snack and drink. They couldn’t give me a cup for ice without charging me for both, I assume that’s because this place is right off the freeway and is always hopping. Oh well, the lady was friendly about it.

So it’s 2:33am and the car wash was closed and turned off. My sister and I are on a trip for my BFF’s birthday. We are driving to San Diego from San Jose. The windows were so dirty it was dangerous for us to continue driving. Eboni, the clerk on shift, was kind enough to remove the safety obstruction and waited until there was an absents of customer to turn on the whole car wash facility for us. She was so sweet and just a pleasure to be around. Her energy and personality is great and she put us in a wonderful mood for 2 in the morning driving. I have been on the road for 5 to 6 hours and she just brightened up our world. She was so beautiful inside and out. What a blessing she is. Thank you AM/​PM Arco for hiring such a gorgeous human being. Where did all the fabulous people like Eboni go?!? Thank you so much Eboni, you are so amazing! You’re so freaking beautiful and sweet. You have such a big heart and great customer service. You even came outside to help us with the code and the whole troubleshooting issues with grace. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I will always go back to this gas station! I love this station!

My fiancé and I had the worst service and experience today at this am pm. We stopped there on our way to get gas heading to LA. We filled our camary which was 64.00 $. The Santa Ana’s are in full effect today and it is 95 degrees in ventura. So me being the awesome fiancé left the car on but not running with the AC on high for her and our dog. I didn’t feel like it was that long but the car wouldn’t start. After asking many people at the pumps for a jump with no luck my fiancé went inside and asked the employees. One gentleman by the name of Russell said he had a jump box in his car and was eager to help. There were 2 other women working one named Lucy and the other Lori (one stocking candy bars) and both of them were extremely rude. Told my lady that it isn’t their problem and that Russell needed to clock out and leave if he wanted to walk outside and get us his jump box. He actually offered to take his lunch break to help us but we declined. I just don’t understand what has happened to humanity in general and if you Lucy and Lori are so disappointed in your pathetic lives then get out of customer service because you don’t have any business being in it! I want to give Russell 5 stars and the other 2 women don’t deserve my time writing this.

Tiffany the cashier at this location is awesome! One day I came in with my stash of change and close to my last drop of gas. She told me that I needed to roll them up and offered the roll packages. However, not willing to do that, I started to walk away. Tiffany stopped me and said she would help me roll the coins in between customers. For that alone I am forever grateful. She went above and beyond the call of duty of help a customer. She also has an excellent attitude and a great smile!

I have stopped at this arco numerous times and they never fail to amaze me with their service! Great gas. It runs my car!

BEST AWESOME TEAM at the am pm.
I went there today for my lunch break (30min lunch) was in a big hurry to get back to work, i pd $ 20 cash on the machine… Entered pump 2 … INSTEAD OF 12! I adv a young employee man blondish with a beard, verry helpful … he advised me the gas already has been pumped by the couple on pump 2!!! he adv his (assuming manager, tall and slender) manager right away got on the camara to make sure thats the correct guy that my money went to. An it was… The employee went toward the man on pump 2 to ask if he can return my money. At first he refused, an believed his wife was yelling at him too… but the young man insisted an finally the man that pump his gas with my money decided to give it back to me! :D …also this man was like 8-​ft very tall an intimidating !!! …wish i had gotten their names of the employees there. I was too much in a hurry i did not get it. But sooo grateful he got that man to pay me back… I mean it could of gotten worst!!! I sure appreciate him taking that risk! THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!
An all this… i was only 1 min late from lunch. :D They sure deserv a raise for the type of people they deal with. Everyday!

I drive up and down between San Fernando and Santa Barbara often and I plan on making this gas station part of my favorite list. Everything is clean on this brand new state of the art Arco. I liked the fact that it is a pretty large gas station which happens to be right off the freeway and of course the gas is cheap. Can’t ask for more. The only problem is that it is a little tricky to get to it and trickier to get back onto the freeway. There is only one exit that makes you go right, the best way is to bust a u-​turn and head back the same way you came. Trust me!
