Caruso’s Pizza

We are visiting from Texas so we came here just because of the reviews. Is it fancy inside? No, but the food was super delicious! We had a cheese pizza, turkey sub and cheesesticks… and nothing was left on the table. There were 7 of us and they had a table off to the side that fit all of us comfortably. Prices were reasonable and they have different specials to pick from. Will definitely come back next time we are here!

Ventnor local here! Best pizza around hands down! Even my husband (born and raised in Philly for 32years) agrees! Their sandwiches and platters are delicious as well. Nothing fancy about the place, just a small family run mom n pop shop! Good food, great service every time!

This is my go to for pizza! They have been known to throw in bonus surprises. Pizza is thin crust and delicious! Highly recommend their white pie with spinach or broccoli! Super friendly service!

Charged me $ 10 extra after getting off the phone and when I called the manager on it, he ADMITTED IT. Kept calling me «sweetheart». What a rude guy. Not a chance of me ordering again.
Don’t steal my money and then be condescending with me as a women.
Also — as a New Yorker, the pizza isn’t even good.
No loss.

Ok enough is enough. Gave this place at least 4 – 5 chances tonight was the final straw. Ordered a Margarita pie. No fresh mozz basil invisible loaded with greasy shredded factory mozzarella topped with slicing tomatoes that weren’t even ripe yet. I hate feeling ripped off but $ 14 later I’m sorry I do.
Forgot to mention everybody felt like there was sand in it.

Ate here a couple times. This area lacks really good pizza but this is better than most of the other shops. Overall just average though. A Large pizza with extra cheese and meatball topping came out to $ 16.80 which is a bit much especially considering there wasnt any extra cheese on it.

I haven’t ordered from many places in town since I moved here and it’s probably because I always end up ordering from Caruso’s. They are always so pleasant on the phone, willing to accommodate changes to orders, and the food comes piping hot. Every time. The delivery drivers are always lovely as well. Whether you’re looking for a sit down dinner, pizza, or a wrap, it’s all delicious and I highly recommend them!

Carusos is our new fav cheesesteak place. Fantastic food and quick delivery service. I’m sure they will be super busy during the summer so we will have to order ahead. Pizza is good too.

My go-​to pizza. Crusty, dependable, customer-​friendly owner, and great fast delivery… even on snow days.

Just ordered fro here and I must say, it was a good pie. Reminded me of the way boardwalk pizza was when I was a kid. Thin and crispy. It was a little banged up I. The box but that’s the delivery process. Very good pie, I’m going to make this place my new pizza delivery place.

Good food, fast service and friendly staff. Very consistent. Their pizzas are quite good, and their subs and wraps are some of the best I’ve had on the island.

We were seated by the open bathroom door even though it was a desserted restaurant. But i think the bathroom was the nicest part of the establishment. It had clearly been redone recently with fine stone and nice flooring. If they had put half the amount of time money and effort they put into the bathroom their pizza might not taste like cooked garbage. At least we know they aren’t taking all those cans on the beach to a land fill and they are putting them to use.

Coming from Long Island, NY where there’s an Italian restaurant/​pizza shop at every block… I found the pizza here to be in between okay and good. I really like the crust… it’s crispy and not thick and chewy. As far the as the cheese, there’s a minimal amount that you won’t notice there’s not enough and you won’t notice that there’s too much so it’s an okay balance. As far as the sauce, it’s bland and need some herbs or some more flavor. So to rate from 1 to 5 where 5 is the best, crust = 4, cheese = 3, and sauce = 2 so just an average pizza. We got a large cheese (16″, 8 slices) and it will feed 2 good eaters or 3 normal eaters. I also got a whole cheesesteak and for the price, it was a normal value but needed some seasoning on the meat. There was a decent amount of meat and cheese but it was just okay and didn’t really scream anything special.
Overall, it was an okay experience w/​okay tasting food and okay value. This is good to try at least once but I would probably try other places first to compare before eating here again.

Their pizza was some of the best pizza I’ve tried in awhile. I wanted to order more after I finished.

Went here after a day on the beach. It’s a small spot w some out front seating. You had to get bottled soda or water as there was no fountain drinks. We ordered a large plain pizza, a cheesesteak and 2 orders of fries. The pizza came out first. It was thin and crispy. The sauce was tasty and there was just enough cheese. The cheesesteak came out w the fries about 5 min later. The cheesesteak was prob 2 ft long but 2 teenagers shared it so it was just right. The fries were hot and crunchy so that’s a plus. We used a coupon we found on one of their menus so we got to save a few dollars too. Not a bad choice for a quick dinner before heading home.

Pizza is excellent! I had given up pizza because every place serves the same boring tasteless pizza. I longed for the taste of the pizza I grew up on and I found it again at Caruso’s. Turkey burgers, eggplant Parm, also great.

The owner is a great person and the pizza is great. I have been going there since the day they opened.

Their white pizza with all the veggies is fantastic. I’m normally a carnivore when it comes to pizza, I’m a sucker for any meat lovers pizza.
That said, I ordered this vegetarian pizza once and haven’t gotten anything else since. Crispy crust, good veggies, and their cheese and garlic are great. I believe its the #6 on their menu, with broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, ricotta, and garlic.
The staff are also very friendly and polite, great little place.

Excellent thin-​crust pizza at a reasonable price in a neighborhoody feeling, friendly place… I have come here a couple times for some slices and ate in, very pleased with the quality. They have white pizza, red pizza, stromboli, calzones, cheese steaks, chicken steaks, various subs and sandwiches, club sandwiches, burgersa variety of salads, chicken wings, and various Italian dishes such as veal parmigiana and bajed ziti also, so plenty of options here. I think the people who run the place are from Albania, and Albania being a country with a very large amount of Italian cultural influence (I have been told by some Albanian friends that many people in Albania can speak Italian due to the close proximity of Albania to Italy), it makes sense that the pizza is quite good. They deliver. This is an order and pay at the counter place, with seating in wooden boothes or tables. The dine-​in area is simple and no frills, but clean.
