Wee Blew Inn Restaurant

Based on a posted menu, I went for meatloaf. It was not offered at lunch today. It was yesterday’s special. Oh well. So I ordered the fish special. I was told it was lightly breaded and deep fried. It arrived very quickly but, there was more breading than fish. I pryed open the breading and the sliver of fish was good but not much actual fish. I have no issues with breaded and fried as long as there is a reasonable amount of fish. The fries and coleslaw were good too but it was not a healthy lunch that I was looking for. The service was good and the staff were polite. However, I won’t go again.

This is a. Ice little place to get some good food. The atmosphere is casual, no frills. That works for me. The waitresses are always nice and keep the coffee flowing.

Went for dinner after reading the reviews. We were very disappointed. The food had no flavor and was over cooked.

Went there for breakfast with the folks. Good food, great service and really inexpensive. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Venice.

If you live nearby, or you’re passing by, eat at the Wee Blew Inn! The food is delicious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the coffee is bountiful.
We were passing by on I75 and stopped in, based on other Unilocal reviews, for breakfast. Sari ordered the french toast (thick and crunchy but could have been dipped a little longer), with bacon (crispy, not greasy), I had 2 eggs (over medium, perfectly cooked) with corned beef hash (superb) and homefries (browned and tender with onions) and about a gallon of coffee.
The servers are seasoned, fast, and all of them stopped as they passed our table to ask if we needed anything and heat up our coffees.
Our bill was $ 15. If I lived in Venice I would eat here frequently; I will be sure to stop in whenever in the area!

Worth a visit. Great service and good food. Very reasonable prices. Reminds me of places I went thirty years ago. Nicely staffed. Try the ham steak at breakfast.

Was just there and my breakfast was just so so. Waitress was very friendly and did her job well. My main complaint was my potatoes were cool and my grits were instant. The prices were excellent and I will give them another chance for sure.

Diner style restaurant where mature waitresses tag team your table. The food was great for breakfast and the prices were just as good. We both had omelettes (Greek ands Mexican) with fresh ingredients… even the toast was fresh and fluffy. Would definitely recommend for an easy, causal breakfast.

This place was packed tonight! They apologized for the wait but to be honest it wasn’t bad AT ALL! The food was awesome! I got the all you can eat fish fry plate for $ 8.95, it came with soup or salad and two sides. The fish was really good and has a great batter. My husband got bacon cheese burger and onion rings. He said his food was really great also. Best onion rings he’s ever had. We will be back often! Definitely a breath of fresh air tonight. We’ve had a time trying the local restaurants and this one is our #1 now, no contest!

Nostalgic… counter seating along with booths & tables. Wonderful breakfast… a lot of locals. Can’t go wrong here!
