Venice Canals Christmas Boat Parade

Is like Venezzia in Italy but whiout the Fogg and the gondolieri. The pad and guarden are «bellísimo»

This is the best parade of the season. Locals make their floats (and I mean floats because this parade is on the water in the Venice canals). There are large and small floats. And there are serious and more fun floats. Sometimes it’s barely what you’d call a float (last year there were two men who were up to their ankles in water but they stayed afloat). There were approximately 40 floats in 2013 and they made a couple of loops around the canals. There are many spots to hang out along the canals and watch the floats. It’s fun for friends, families and remember to bring your dog (they’ll have a good time too).
