Venetian Flowers

Not a value: avoid.
This business prominently solicits positive reviews on it’s email communications (a practice discouraged by Unilocal guidelines) and encourages customers to contact them if they are not satisfied. This approach may, in part, account for the overwhelmingly positive reviews on this profile. However, my experience was quite different.
My childhood pediatrician had died and my family wanted send an arrangement as an expression of our sympathy to a family we had known and appreciated. I’m in Colorado, my family is in Connecticut, and the funeral was in Florida. I found this business using Unilocal and filtering for high ratings. I called a few days before the service, explained the purpose of the flowers, and said that I’d like to spend around $ 200. And so my woes began.
I provided the message for the card over the phone, spelling everything and including punctuation. Notwithstanding my careful dictation, on the email confirmation the message had an obvious punctuation error in it. I responded by email with the instruction to correct it. I did not receive confirmation on that issue until the next day. Moreover, telephoning is difficult because, often, no one answers the phone. At the time that I placed the order, I was also promised that I would receive a photograph of the arrangement. I didn’t. Again, I had to follow-​up in order to get the promised service. The first attempt at emailing the photo to me was unsuccessful (bad jpeg image header), but the second try was successful. My point in mentioning this problem is that tech savvy doesn’t seem to be a characteristic of this business.
When I finally received the photo, I was disappointed. While the arrangement was certainly colorful, it didn’t strike me a warranting the $ 227 price tag (tax and a delivery fee). Perhaps I should have been more specific about my expectations, but honestly, these guys are supposed to be the professionals, right? «Send a nice sympathy arrangement to my friend’s funeral» should be enough information.
Here’s the kicker: they charged my credit card twice. When I managed to get through by telephone and explained the problem, they promptly refunded the duplicate charge and were apologetic, but it’s just one more example of the apparently haphazard way this business is run.
Last, lest you think that I didn’t observe their instructions (outlined in paragraph 1 above), I sent an email message expressing all of this to the contact person indicated on the invoice. And… radio silence. I waited a bit before posting this review, but still no contact. Consequently, I thought that this misleadingly breathless profile needed some well-​earned salt.

Just ok. I asked for my arrangement to have a splash of color after I ordered it and Ana said she would handle it but they did not do it. Also the lily in the arrangement was very «open» so it won’t last long.

A quick and seamless process! I did a quick search of florists that allow online ordering and deliver to the Venice area. This was the hands down best option. A wide variety of tasteful, yet reasonably priced, floral arrangements. I ended up choosing a plant «arrangement», which was a great option because I was looking to send a gift that lasts. Easy steps to specifying any requests, writing out the note to go with arrangement, and you even get an email confirmation of delivery WITH a photo of the actual arrangement. My mother loved the gift, and it looks beautiful. Would absolutely order from here again.

Used Venetian Flowers to send my mom an Mother’s Day arrangement. Easy online ordering, including ability to specify date and time I wanted them delivered. Quick and informative, yet not over bearing, email updates (especially from someone like me ordering from a distance). They delivered as requested, and I appreciated the confirmation stating the flowers were received, as well as an email with a nice, clear photo of what I ordered. Will remember Venetian for other special occasions. Great overall online service.

Wow! I wish every city and/​or state had a Venetian Flowers. The service was fast and professional not to mention that the flowers were gorgeous. How do I know that when the flowers were delivered in Florida and I love in Maine? They send a picture with the delivery confirmation-that’s service. They were delivered within one hour of my online order and the entire process was streamlined and efficient. I’m going to have to find reasons to send flowers to people in the Venice area. And if you need to and don’t purchase from them, you’re a flower fool!

I found Venetian Flowers through Unilocal.I live in Arizona and needed to send flowers for a memorial service. Anna helped me with making sure the flowers that were exactly ones that my mother-​in-​law would have loved. It was so amazing she could help send our message when we could not be there.

I ordered an arrangement for Valentines Day, which is also my wife’s birthday. This is our first winter here so I went to Unilocal fora florist. My wife is a florist with a high end shop back home so buying flowers for her takes some thought and research
Ordering was easy. The website is excellent. I got a follow up email right away. I asked for Saturday am delivery and they called me to confirm. After delivery I received an email with a picture of the arrangement. Great customer service!
The best part — the arrangement is beautiful and fresh. My wife was impressed enough to call the shop and say so. A great experience overall

Very beautiful arrangement I ordered for a birthday, and delivery was perfect. They just left it outside which worked perfectly fine. No complaints and I would recommend/​use them again!

This is the second time this year I sent flowers from Venetian Florists to my parents in Venice. Anna was great this morning, emailed the receipt immediately after my order and sent a picture of the actual flowers this evening with confirmation of delivery. My mother had already called and was thrilled with the arrangement. I would highly recommend Venetian Florist!

Delightful experience. I live in SoCal and I ordered flowers to be (same day) delivered to my parents brand new home on their closing/​move in day. The house isn’t even on the map yet but Venetian Flowers knew where to find them! Mom loves the arrangement. Thank you for being there when I can’t.

I live in Colorado and called to order an arrangement for a memorial service in Venice. The woman on the phone was extremely helpful. I told her a few of the arrangements that I liked on their website and asked if she could make something similar in my price range. I paid over the phone and she emailed me my receipt almost immediately. I also received a picture of the actual arrangement that was delivered which was extremely beautiful. Thank you so much!

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a friend who lost her dog. I have to say that this was by far the most beautiful arrangement of flowers I have ever seen! Outstanding work!

No regrets using Venetian flowers. I found the bouquet I desired on Unilocal,rang Venetian Flowers, and placed my order. The very helpful associate suggested to deliver the flowers one day later to ensure the freshest flowers in my grandmother’s bouquet. Grandma loved them! She’s a sap for beautiful floral arrangements.
Venetian Flowers sends you a picture of the floral arrangement prior to delivery – a very nice touch to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
There is a mildly expensive delivery charge of $ 12, but well worth it in my opinion.

I ordered flowers for my aunt who is in the hospital and the flowers were delivered within hours on the same day they were ordered. My aunt told me they were beautiful, plus I received a picture of the arrangement which looked EXACTLY like the picture on the website. I highly recommend Venetian Flowers.

Venetian Flowers put together such a beautiful arrangement! They delivered on time with proper communication of it’s delivery with a picture of what I ordered! I was looking to order flowers for my grandmothers birthday and I found their website. Figured I would try them and so happy I did. I order the Garden Walk for next day delivery. When they were delivered I received an email and pic of the flowers, which were beautiful. I really like that they send a pic as you often have no idea what the arrangement looks like. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a florist in the area.
