Their citrus is amazing. We have a meyer lemon tree that produces hundreds of lemons twice a year. We got it about 4 years ago, and it has been wonderful every since. We have also purchased hibiscuses from them and they are thriving.

I absolutely love this place. Supef helpful and friendly minus the people at the register. They need a little work.

I was impressed when we first got there — it looked like a quality store and their plants in the nursery all seemed healthy and well cared for. We were there to pick up some herbs and went for two different kinds of potted basil. We did look around at one point for someone to answer a question, but we didn’t see anyone available to help us, so we proceeded to check out.
At the checkout we needed a bag so the plastic pots wouldn’t leak and leave a mark in the car. The boy working nonchalantly stuffed the two pots into one bag and I heard a snap. As we walked out to the car I inspected the plants and, sure enough, he broke off a huge branch from one of the plants. I took it back and we were able to pick out another plant. I know he wasn’t trying to hurt the plant, but he should have been more careful.
I’d like to give the place 3 stars, but it looks like this visit only got 2.

MRT’s Landscaping service was very unsatisfactory. They never called me back when they said they would. They never confirmed the day to actually do the work. I took the day off. Had to call to see if they were, in fact, coming. As an afterthought, he said he’d come that afternoon. Two hours late, he came to plant but said six of my plants had been stolen. They planted the rest per the drawing but were very grumbly and complaining. When I asked if there was a problem, they said the job was too hard because there was weed barrier in the bed and should have charged me more. They told me that they were very busy so they’d try to get back when they got a new shipment of my missing plants. I just asked that I be there and could they set it up a day ahead. Weeks passed. I called to check the status. A few hours later they called to say they’d come in an hour. I said I was already at work and could it be the next day. He said no, hung up on me, and I’ve never heard from them again. I attempted to lodge a complaint with the owner of MRT and never heard back from him either.
Do NOT use this company.

We experienced shady business practices when we tried to use their landscaping service. They required a deposit in order to give us an estimate. They said the deposit would apply to the work done, period. That’s the only reason we paid $ 100 deposit and we were very clear about our budget for the job being under $ 700.
Well the estimate came in over $ 1000, we tried to work with them by reducing the job to fit our budget and THEN they told us that the deposit would only be applied if the job was $ 1000 or more. That is a rip off and nothing was ever said about this to us in advance.
We never got a refund or any work done by them.
