I took relatives from the north here for the philly cheese steak calzone. It is fantastic. People were nice a very hands on owner. I will b back. If you love great pizza and calzones no one does it better

Tried this place for the first time and I was very satisfied with the results. My father moved here from New York, so needless to say our standards for pizza were already through the roof. My dad has tried a lot of pizza places in the area, and this one is by far his favorite. The other day was my first time trying it, and now I understand why he likes it so much. The sauce was good, the toppings were fresh, and the pizza was ready in a timely manner. I have no complaints!

Go for the calzones for sure! They are incredible. Always on our regular rotation when we stay in Venice. But here’s a secret: the sauce alone is worth the price of admission, seriously. They give you a generous helping with your to-​go order, so do yourself a favor and save some of it to have with pasta later in the week. Awesome meal!

This place is one of my favorites, but I must acknowledge it’s hit or miss. Usually, their pizza is awesome and I love their calzones. They’ve improved their phone service recently, but still come across as if slightly annoyed by having to answer the phone when they are busy.
If you are eating at the restaurant, the service is awesome as the wait staff can routinely be seen ferrying orders and drinks back and forth with a sense of urgency
Still recommend this place, but I usually tell people to get there before 6 when they get really busy and the food seems rushed.

Ordered one large cheese steak hoagie and one small cheese steak with mushrooms. We got two cheese steaks on soft rolls not Italian rolls for $ 15. Next time we are going to Bada Bing. Well still pay $ 15 but you get what you ordered.

I got a slice of pizza and it was good. Crust was a little thin but all in all for $ 3.00 how can you go wrong and it was a decent size slice. My friend got chicken cutlet on penne pasta, he was very happy.

My husband and I have been long term patrons of Mama Maria’s but will not be ordering again after tonight. We ordered a standard veggie lovers pizza which arrived extremely late, soaking wet, cold and mush. We called and explained what we received and were offered a remake of the offer free of charge– what was delivered was the same, wet, watery mush– delivered by a shady character I wouldn’t normally open my door for– who said he was «a dishwasher not a delivery driver». $ 23 dollars later we are still without dinner and aren’t going to bother calling back a third time. We’ve been ordering from them exclusively for the last 10 years and the last year and a half have tasted it gone steadily downhill. Save yourself the time & money– what a shame. Cold, Wet, Mush.

Just moved here from NYC and ordered a plain pizza. It tasted just like back home. Definitely will order again.

First visit here and certainly not disappointed. Meatballs were amazing, small calzone is certainly enough for two. Chicken parm was very good. Pasta was a little bit overdone. Service was very good. We each had a sample of gelato which was tasty. Recommended if you love Italian food!

Visited a couple of times when it wasn’t busy. Service was good.
I’m not a big fan of NY style pizza, but this is the best I have tasted in the local area out of 7 or so pizza restaurants. The pizza crust is tasty with a nice crunch, the sauce has a good taste and the cheese is fine. I’ll still be trying other pizza places, looking for a different style of pizza, but credit where credit is due this is a tasty pizza.

I was just at Mama Marias yesterday. I am giving a five for food but a four for the efficiency of the waitress. She was competent and very friendly but had to be reminded to bring a few things. Other than that it was awesome. I would definitely come again.

First time here… I just ordered a white pizza with broc rabe … Just waiting… Place looks great. Nice people. Friendly. Very Good Pizza… Can’t wait to come back here… amen

Love their pizza. Huge pizzas wth great taste. Slices are big enough for you to fold and eat like they do in NY. Prices are very reasonable. I suggest you try it.
