Called twice over a 4 week period and waited patiently for a response after seeing the reviews on Unilocal.No return phone call. Moving on… :(

Amber ended up contacting me through Unilocal and let me know that she hasn’t been able to take any new clients because she’s a one girl band and that she’s been getting a crazy amount of calls recently. I really appreciated her letting me know and she told me she changed her voicemail box to fix any confusion.
I added 2 stars back to thank Amber for her speedy getting back to me since she saw my Unilocal review. I can’t give it 4 – 5 stars though because the business isn’t taking new clients. But, Amber’s current clients seem really happy and the rest of us can hope that one day she can expand her business to take new ones. :)

With Amber, it’s love at first pedicure. I had been around the block and them some in search of the perfect mani/​pedi place in the Marina Del Rey/​Venice/​Santa Monica area. Salons typically range from sweat shop style, to overpriced and unimpressed. Amber is a deal for her care and attention to your toes. I really enjoy the fact that you are the only person in her salon whilst she is taking care of your feet so you’re not distracted by giant tvs or people talking on cell phones. Amber herself is funny and warm and just a treat to sit with for an hour. I highly recommend.

Went to Amber to try the Shellac treatment, and it is beautiful! Had so much fun, Amber’s awesome. Plan in advance here… she’s in high demand and books up weeks in advance, but completely worth the wait.

Amber called me back, yay! Although she doesn’t do any acrylics she recommended someone in SM. Gonna give it a try and def write up another review.

You’d think it would be easy to find a good nail salon on the west side but I’ve gotten to the point where I refuse to step foot in any of them. They are too rushed, too rough and I leave with cut skin and polish that immediately goes awry.
What a breath of fresh air to find Amber! She is focused and passionate about her work. She takes her time and is very detailed. My nails looked the best they ever have before the polish and then the mani/​pedi lasted much longer than usual. I can’t wait to go back and try the gels which she sold me on without «selling» me. As a bonus, Amber has a warm and outgoing personality and her salon is charming. I felt relaxed and confident that I was in good hands. I will definitely become a repeat customer.

Amber is A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G! She does an incredible job, is extremely professional, and also a delight to talk to. Myself, as well as my hands and feet, really have to thank Unilocal here, because we are now well taken care of.
She also has the Shellac Gels, which are amazing.

I use to go to one of those dime a dozen cheap-​o nail salons that litter the westside until one of my big toe nails lifted off not once but twice AND I got a horrible ingrown toe nail that required surgery. After that I vowed never again! A friend introduced me to Amber’s Nail Salon over 8 years ago and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. Amber is an EXPERT at her craft and gives your hands and feet the utmost care and attention.
Amber’s salon is small and simple allowing her to devote her full attention to you and only you! She is extremely clean and meticulous providing a professional manicure and pedicure using only high quality products and polishes. Amber recently started doing the CND Shellac service and I tried it myself … awesome!
Amber not only provides a fabulous service but she’s a wonderful person too. You’ll get pampered while being entertained and comforted by her warm personality.
***If you’re a new client, when calling for an appointment, be patient as there is only one Amber and she’s a busy person with a loyal following. If you think you’ll be able to drop by and get an appointment, it’s not going to happen as she books a week or two in advance. She’s definitely worth the wait if you want a quality job!

If you’re looking for the best mani/​pedi in town then Amber’s your girl. I’ve been going to her for years, like 18 years actually. She will make you feel comfortable and right at home in her cozy salon. Her regular polish lasts FOREVER and now she has Shellac Gels, now my polish is lasting even longer! If you haven’t tried gels yet then give her a call. She’s one-​on-​one that’s for sure and do call in advance, she will get you in. She charges a bit more than the «chop shops» out there but let me tell you when it comes to sanitation and hygiene you don’t want to mess around, it’s worth it. You too will be leaving 5 stars on Unilocal I promise that!

Amber is a one girl operation so be patient when calling for an appointment but she is awesome and will give you her full attention when you there! It is almost like being in Amber’s home she is The Best!!! She now has the SHELLAC GELS too!

Amber does indeed rock! I have been going to Amber for a billion years. My pedis last 3 weeks no problem. I only have to redo them because I have «regrowth» No chips no peeling. She has her own little shop where you sit on a couch and hang out (very casual) I book my appointments for the entire year so I can always get in w/​my girl! She does not thin down her products. She also uses hospital grade disinfectant! She is a little more expensive, but worth EVERY PENNY!

Amber rocks! You have to book a few weeks in advance because she has a loyal following. She costs slightly more than some of the other salons do… but, you get what you pay for. It IS one-​on-​one personalized service. Her manicures and pedicures seem to last longer for some reason too! Amber has a heart of gold and she loves people. When hou see her… you feel like you are visiting with an old friend. I have known Amber since 1995. She is just terrific!
