Vassar is a dark desolate hole of a town, with kids being mischievous at Harper park and bridge construction that never ends, but in the middle of it all there is a tiny light named Cork Pine. If you ever want to know what Jesus’ hair taste like, order the baked spaghetti. I would do anything to have this meal. I literally spent 14+ hours with Tom Goforth to have this dish… It’s that special.

It took us 15 minutes of sitting before a waitress came to see what we wanted to drink. The service was horrendous and the worst service we had had anywhere in a long time. The food was okay, my father in law and I had a wet burrito, the beef needed more seasoning, or a better seasoning. It was a good portion though. My wife had the chicken quesadilla and my mother in aw had a beef quesadilla. They both liked those. We also got wings and they were greasy and not very good. We sent them back. I have been here in the past and it was better then this time.

I haven’t been there for the nightlife but I have been there for a few dinners. Service has always been exceptional and the food is always great. The atmosphere is very friendly. It’s set up with a bar area and a sitting area with a few TV’s to catch up news and sports.
