A wonderful collective of Vashon Island’s most talented artists. Love the ceramics, especially, and then again the jewelry-​making, wall art and turned bowls are exceptional as well.

Some of the best local art I’ve seen under one roof! As if it couldn’t get any better, the majority of the items were very reasonably priced for those on modest budgets. Kathy, the manager, was lovely and I will definitely be back.

Owned by Vashon Allied Arts, The Heron’s Nest is a consignment shop with wares consisting of everything from soap to wooden furniture — 95% or more was made on Vashon Island. Staffed by volunteers, many who’s own artwork is on display here, The Nest (as it is affectionately known) is a great place to pick up a souvenirs, gifts, or an addition to your own art collection.
