I have been going to the Vancouver Vision Clinic for 2 years. Everyone here is so friendly and service is quick and efficient. My husband and i both were seen by Dr. Sarah Curtiss and she was simply amazing, very kind and informative and took plenty of time to explain things. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, they are exceptional.

I had asked for recommendation in my neighborhood and Dr. R. Patel came up quite a few times. I had my 1st visit and Dr. Patel was great– knowledgeable, thorough with information on my eyes, what I must do now and possibly down the road. So personable and I am very confident my son will also be in good hands. The staffs (Trisha, attending for Dr. Patel) were all nice and professional. You can get your glasses right there and then. The office worked with my insurance since I have a limited annual coverage. That is a nice courtesy offered. Making appointments was easy. With all our busy schedules, it is nice when the office reminds you of an upcoming visit.

I have to take a moment out of my busy day to let people know about my experience as a patient at VVC. I see there are already a bunch positive reviews from long time patients– but I’d like to add one from a first timer.
The entire appt was terrific– check-​in staff were super friendly, paperwork was only ONE PAGE, tech was knowledgeable and led me around like a seeing eye dog once she took away my contacts… And best of all, Dr. Patel was awesome! He spent time to get my prescription just right unlike the last eye doc I went to. Plus I’m a doctor myself so I’m super picky about who I’ll trust to see for my own healthcare. Dr. Patel and his staff passed with flying colors!

I have been going to VVC for 15+ years. When I moved from PDX to Salem, it was never in question that I would seek eye care anywhere else. For me, it is definitely worth the drive as I know my family is getting the best eye care possible. Dr. Patel and the staff at VVC are awesome! They are caring, professional, knowledgeable and have an excellent selection of glasses to choose from. I have recommended many friends and they also echo this sentiment. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Patel’s for many years, and I’ve never thought to go anywhere else. He has been a great resource and always takes the time to explain his thinking and answer all my questions. The recently-​remodeled clinic is staffed with super nice and knowledgable people. I look forward to the drive up from Portland every year!

My husband and I have been going to the The Vancouver Vision Clinic for over 14 years. Dr. Patel has been the best optometrist we’ve experienced. He’s always caring and patient and makes us look forward to our exams every year. I had retinal detachments in both my eyes 14 years ago and I truly believe I owe my sight to Dr. Patel who detected it on my very first visit. He was extremely empathetic and treated me like family and followed up with my progress after my surgeries. We have had wonderful experience with Michael in the Optical department who takes his time to make sure everything is comfortable with our glasses. We also always enjoy our visits due the welcoming and friendly staff like Amanda and Juliann. We hope they never leave.

My family has been using Vancouver vision clinic for many years now. It had been about 5 years since my last visit. I had forgotten how friendly everyone is there. From the front desk, to Amy who handled the preliminary exam, to Dr. Patel, to Michael who helped me choose a great pair of glasses. This is the way a business should be run. Great customer service and friendly smiles all around. I can’t imagine ever using another Vision care clinic as they would all surely fall short of Vancouver vision care!

I’ve been going to Vancouver Vision for years. Dr. Patel is the absolute best doctor. Friendly, personable, and has a great sense of humor. He is very thorough and goes the extra yard to make sure your prescription is just right.

I called for an appointment and they were able to get me in the very next day. They also have Saturday appointments which is great and convenient. I was seen by Dr. Stender. She was the friendliest eye doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The exam was thorough and relaxed.
After the exam I was helped by Mike. He helped me pick out frames and talked me through all the options I had based on my prescription. He was friendly and kind and didn’t make me feel rushed.
It was a great experience. I will be going there from now on and would highly recommend them.

I saw Dr. Stender, a kinder, more friendly eye doctor, I could not have found. She was knowledgeable and helped me understand each step of the eye exam and the importance in eye health. I would highly recommend this office for eye care.
I did not buy any glasses or contacts because they want to make sure my prescription works for me, which is the first time a doctor has offered this option.
There is plenty of free parking.
The office staff is welcoming and helpful.
I don’t know if they are expensive or not as I used insurance, but for insurance prices they were great.

The best vision clinic in the Vancouver/​Portland metro area! I have been going to them for years and it’s always a positive and pleasant experience. The doctors and staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend this clinic for everyone needing routine eye exams and/​or specialized or medical optical care.

Dr. Payne (I know, right?) has been my eye doctor for over 20 years. He has a wonderful manner and I enjoy my yearly visits. The staff is very competent and cheerful and I rarely ever have to wait.
A few years ago I got monovision contacts (where one contact helps you see near and one helps you see far). It took a bit of adjustment to get the proscription correct but Dr. Payne worked with me until my brain adjusted. :)
I definitely recommend Dr. Payne and the Vancouver Vision Clinic.
