This place is a great little hidden gem. The food was amazing, bursting with flavor and balance. I got the Filet Mignon with a blue cheese and butter reduction. Talk about a combo, each bite and plenty of flavor but not overpowering the steak which was cooked exactly as I ordered it. For an appetizer we got the caramelized Brussel sprouts and normally I wouldn’t touch these things but everybody kept pushing me to try them and they were awesome! The menu says they are cooked with a sherry vinegar and balsamic reduction and all I know is that equaled FLAVOR! We were all fighting for the extra brown pieces as they added a nice little crunch. One of the coolest things for me was the Whisky tasting room. This is common in PDX but here across the bridge, I’ve seen nothing with this selection. Well over 100 different Whisky’s and Scotch’s to choose from, and I’m not talking Seagram’s 7 or Old Crow here! I sampled a 12 Yr &16 Yr old Glenlivet. A great experience for contrast and flavor notes at very reasonable pricing. I will be back with some buddies! I have seen people on here talking about their main course coming right when they were done with their apps… and that’s a bad thing? Seems to me that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be done, but I can’t comment on someone else’s experience. Maybe some folks prefer getting everything all at once. I also understand that this place is under new ownership as of very recent, so maybe some of the other complaints will be handled by the new owners. As for me, this was my first time there(Fathers day lunch 2016) and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Good food, good drinks, normal or as expected service and good company. I will be back.

I keep wanting to like this place and have given it a few try’s, but always leave very disappointed. Went in last night for dinner with my husband and daughter, they were busy which they usually are, but seemed louder inside than normal. Ordered our drinks which didn’t take too long, but has to sit and wait for water and then had to ask them for water about 15 minutes after we were seated. Our appetizer of artichoke/spinach dip was good. My daughter ate her food. Took a long time for the appetizer and her meal to come out. Our main meal came shortly after we finished our dip. Waitress was nice, but would walk by in a rush and never ask if we were ok. We’ve had her before and she always seems scattered. Then disappear thru the back door. I had the chicken burger and it was literally THEDRIESTBURGEREVER! I asked for no cucumbers but they gave me the cucumbers and left the sauce off of the burger. Not once did someone come by to ask how our meal Was. I ate about half and couldn’t eat anymore. Husband said his burger was just ok. Sorry, I have given this place a few chances and every time leave feeling disappointed. Probably won’t come back.

Went in last Friday night for my second dinner(yes, that’s a thing). Arrived with a friend of mine for happy hour(starts again at 9pm) and were extremely impressed by the HH menu-so much that it was hard to decide what to choose. Naturally we decided to get a whole slew of things and share them family style(two people can be considered a «family,» right??) Our waitress gave us the choice of being seated in the bar or the back room, which was more quiet and exclusive, but being a Friday night we thought we’d try to be where the action was(little did we know the food would be the only action we would need that night). We started with happy hour salads-mine the house, my friend’s the Caesar. They came in bowls larger than expected for happy hour, and they were delicious. We then shared the fish tacos-also HUGE portions for happy hour, and most important they were delicious. Soft, crunchy, sweet, acidic, it was all there. We ordered steak bites that came with garlic sautéed mushrooms; the steak was perfectly cooked-not that chewy chewy chewy meat that takes 10 min to swallow. Our last pick was the truffle fries(oh come on, don’t act all surprised! This is me we’re talking about after all). I also have to rave about the service. From beginning to end our waiters were attentive, helpful, proactive, and checked on us multiple times. If we asked for extra anything it wasn’t more than a minute that someone brought it out. It’s clear these employees work as a team, not just separate individuals. I’ve officially been«tapped.»

Been to Tapped twice and love it. The fish tacos are awesome and the Blue Burger is delicious. Opt for the sweet potato fries, they are delicious. Will definately be back!

Came in for a beer and some happy hour food. Good beer selection with a good variety, the amber was very good. The food was delicious, and each plate got better and better. Started with the fried pickles which were delicious, the fish tacos were extremely juicy and so good, and the highlight was the pork belly which were nice and crispy on the outside, and super tender in the middle, they melt in your mouth. Definitely plan on coming back!

Excellent beer selection and newly added whiskey lounge that is fun to hang in. The food isn’t anything special but can’t go wrong with the truffle fries while sipping on a pint!

I had the pork belly special last Saturday and it was amazing! I’ve been back since and someone at the bar was eating a hamburger and it looked delicious — a co-worker has had it(he came all the way from Tigard) and said it’s the best burger he’s ever had, definitely worth the drive. I’ll be having that next time around.

I really wanted to give them a five star rating because the food is unique and pretty good tasting. I’ve been in 4 different times and every time I come in it takes too long to get my food it should not take a half hour to get an appetizer when there are less then 5 customers. Also if you sit in the bar and do happy hour It can take a while for to actually get someone to take your order. I do love the rotating hard ciders!!!

Good service. Good food. Good beer. Had a good night in this place tonight. Way better than going to a chain restaurant. Support a local biz and go here instead.

SO good! The service is so friendly and food was amazing. We went in our first time and ordered nearly everything on their happy hour and every item was so delicious. I just ordered a beer, but will definitely try their mixed drinks next time because their menu looked wonderful. Will definitely go back! :)

I’m sorry, but it should NOT take 30 minutes to get a BLT and a burger when there are literally 4 other people in the entire place. Reading the reviews, I guess I should have expected the long wait — seems to be the theme here, which is unfortunate. One star because the bartender was very nice and another star because the food was actually decent. The wait time is just ridiculous, though.

I wanted to like Tapped SO badly. It’s in such a great location for me, and I love a casual pub with excellent food. I had high hopes for this place, but I was really disappointed. We(myself, my husband, and our 4 year old son) came in on a Thursday at 5:45pm. The place was busy, but not packed(plenty of empty tables). When we sat down, I put my arms on the table, and immediately noticed that it was sticky and not very clean. I thought that was gross but opted not to say anything, because I’m a wiener about pointing things like that out. We waited a few minutes and someone brought us a carafe of water and 2 water glasses. In spite of the fact that there were 3 of us. To make matters worse, both water glasses looked dirty, and one had a lipstick stain on it. Again, I’m a wiener about these kinds of things, but I can’t handle lipstick on my glass. The waiter came by and I asked for a new glass, and also for some milk for the kiddo. The waiter came back after about…15 minutes, maybe? Too long to wait for a clean water glass, but I’m trying to cut them some slack. He reported that they didn’t have any milk. Now I’m trying not to be annoyed because I get it, not every place has milk, but if you’ve got a full bar and a kid’s menu… how do you not have milk? They didn’t even have juice; he offered lemonade or Sprite. Oh well. I just asked for a water glass for him, and at the same time, could we get that clean glass now too? Yeah, he never brought that by either. He came back after another few minutes(yes, few), and we ordered our food. I ordered the Blue Burger which, in the menu, notes«gorgonzola, bacon, sweet onion jam.» Hell yes, sounds delicious! My husband ordered the chicken burger, and the kiddo had a kid’s burger. Easy peasy order. Which took, seriously, 40 minutes to come out. My husband and I were so bemused(and so hungry), we went back and forth between laughing at how ridiculous the experience was and asking eachother«Should we just ask them to cancel it and get out of here?» We’d waited this long, though, and we still had high hopes that the food would be good. So we waited. And we waited. And we waited. No contact from the waiter this entire time, by the way. While we’re waiting I see a waitress nearby bus a table. She takes the dishes away, tidies the stuff on the table, and puts napkins and silverware down. What she does not do, that entire time, is wipe the table in anyway. That explains my sticky table, I suppose. So! Our food finally comes, and you know, it’s decent. The burger has WAY too much salt and pepper on it, but I like salt and pepper, so it could be worse. Only one side of the bun has mayo on it and the other side is dry, which when combined with the blue cheese made the burger seem super dry. Speaking of my burger: it had blue cheese, bacon, and red onions on it. You’ll notice it was missing the sweet onion jam. I was pretty disappointed about that. My husband’s sandwich was OK, but the chicken was pretty overcooked and dry. My kid wouldn’t eat his burger. He’s 4, so you can’t really consider his opinion too highly, but ya know. We left at 7:30. It took almost 2 hours to get a couple of burgers. The prices were absolutely ridiculous when I consider the horrendous quality of the service and the overall okay-ness of the food. I definitely won’t go back. There are too many better places to get a good burger nearby.

If you want a great burger and nice selection of beers, look elsewhere. After having ridden by this place or driven by many times, I was hopeful that I would be able to tap into a new fun place to enjoy. Sadly, I was disappointed. We arrived early on a Friday night and the place was in no way packed. In fact, we stepped right through the door and were greeted within seconds of entering(always a good sign). We were sat with our menus and given a few moments to find our drinks. Our server was very present and ready to help. We had arrived during Happy Hour and I ordered an item off that menu(soft pretzel) for my fiancée and I and a couple of beers. We also decided to order our dinner(though my fiancée ordered a burger, she wasn’t even given the option of ordering the Happy Hour variant). Then, we waited. For 15 minutes. Our beer arrived within about 2 minutes of our pretzel and though we had been brought water, it would seem that a place like a Brewpub would be interested in pushing as much beer on us as possible. Sadly, this was a reoccurring theme. We finally received our food as we were finishing our pretzel. My fiancée’s burger was overcooked(she ordered medium, they furnished it well) but tasty as was my chicken sandwich. The fries tasted like the oil hadn’t been hot enough. Though they are handcut, they seemed to have soaked up all the oil and ended up leaving a greasy feeling on the roof of my mouth(similar to how you feel at McDonalds). And amongst all this, we were forgotten. We both drained our beer and were never asked if we wanted a refill. In fact, we were never asked anything until we were clearly finished. There was no midmeal check-in. There was nothing. Basically, we ordered, got our food and were flies on the wall. I finally got my check by asking a lady bussing a neighboring table for it. Quickly paid it and passed our server on the way out. She didn’t say hello, goodbye, anything. Basically, we were just two more folks dropping off money. I felt that this was an inexcusable lack of attention in what should be a customer service centered establishment. What is worse, is that there wasn’t much attention to detail on the food, either. If it was deep into a rush, I would get it, but there just wasn’t the volume to dictate the poor experience we received.

Happy hour is everyday from 2:30−6PM(anywhere in the restaurant). The whiskey room is very dimly lit but has a bar, a nice couch and chairs, and a few small tables. The duck and gorgonzola quesadilla is really flavorful and good, they didn’t skimp on the duck! The truffle fries are decent but overpriced at $ 6 — which is the same price as when it’s not HH. The drumetttes are just a few small wings/drumsticks and are pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the honey sriracha but the BBQ was great! Overall, for about $ 30 after taxes and tips for 3 dishes and 1 beer, this was okay. I think the prices could be a bit lower but the food is good and service great, so I’ll still give it 4 stars. They frequently switch out their beers and seem to have a huge selection of drinks so maybe just for light bites and more for drinks, this is a cool spot. ETA: Tried the pretzel with fondue today and the fondue is delicious! I wanted to just eat it with a spoon. Someone recommended the loaded fries with fondue so I’ll have to get that next time. I would recommend that over the truffle fries, for only 50 cents more.

I feel like this establishment should have better reviews than it currently does. I was hesitant to go due to the lack of good reviews, but gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised on several levels. First of all, the service was great, prompt, friendly, and informative. My husband had a pork pulled sandwich and was raving about it, which tells me it must have been good since he is usually rather critical. We are definitely planning on returning.

First visit to Tapp with high hopes for good meal. Didn’t live up to expectations. Kudos for beer and cocktails selection. Excellent waiter, which was the one and only highlight. For appetizers, we ordered: Flat bread, chicken skewers with Thai peanut sauces and truffle fries. After an interminable wait they arrived. Flatbread was acceptable, but not great. Fries were limp and oily Skewers were like warm and peanut sauce looked and tasted like it was just scooped out of jar. Couldn’t taste anything«Thai» in it. The Waiter was urging us to order dinner With the long wait for appetizers we were ready. Only after another long wait did we understand why he wanted to get order in Fish and chips were heavily battered and like the fries were oily and not crisp. Two of us had Cesar salad with chicken Salad had so much dressing it was inedible. Chicken in one salad was over cooked and black on outside. Needless to say it was dry on top of that it was barely warm. The other chicken was at least warmer, but undercooked. Simple dinner but took over 2 hours For the pleasure of this, bill was $ 122 Needless to say we won’t be back.

It’s fine. Decent fish and chips(the chips are fries, not chips, but that’s no biggie and they’re pretty tasty). Perfectly adequate service. Server unaware that malt vinegar is something that sometimes comes with fish and chips. Lemon also seemed like an odd request. Strip mall décor. To get here from Portland, take the 205 bridge and get off on the first exit. Turn right on the road with all the strip malls. At the strip mall, turn left. Pass about 50 strip malls then turn right at the strip mall across from the strip mall. Pass a few more strip malls until you get to the point where you think there couldn’t possibly be any more strip malls You’ll soon see more strip malls. At the strip mall that’s catercorner from the strip mall turn left. This place is in the strip mall right before the strip mall.

This place is really tasty! I’ve been twice and each time was great. First time there was when it was newly opened, I tried the pork loin with blackberry and it was so yummy! We also tried this chocolate dessert that was served in a martini glass, also super yummy. The second time I tried the Mac&Cheese, really great, also super spicy! Most of the time when something is advertised as spicy, it rarely is — no false advertisement here. Highly recommended!

DUCK and GOUDA quesadilla!!! OMG, it was so good, I want it in my mouth right now, and tomorrow, and the next day. It was served with chipotle aioli that I would buy if they sold it. The spicy mac and cheese was super delicious(not spit to me). It was so creamy and they used my favorite noodles, cavatappi. We also tried their fish tacos(which also came with the chipotle aioli), the loaded fries, and the tapped burger. I think I should have opted for the truffle fries instead of the loaded fries. They weren’t bad, but in comparison to the quesadilla and mac, they were just not as good as those two dishes. The fish tacos were better than most I have had, but again, it was all about that Duck. I tried their basil gimlet with dinner, and wow, was I pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. The basil was light and not overpowering and quite refreshing. Another member of my party tried the peach manhattan, and the smell was divine. I highly recommend going during happy hour as it is pricy otherwise. Marco was our server, and he was charming, personable, and informative.

Underwhelming would be my word for Tapped. I think I should come back some time for dinner or maybe a later happy hour. The bartender that was waiting on me had no sense of timing. And I would have to agree about the po-dunk comment earlier. She just didn’t give me the feel of being in a nicer place for happy hour and she was disorganized for only having four tables(I’m a server so of course I counted and notice these things) she didn’t even check on me until there was almost an inch of beer left and just asked how I was doing as she quickly walked by. I had to stop her to say I would like another beer and some food which I thought was obvious because my menu was pushed to the side. What gives this review 3 stars instead of 2 is the IPA selection(I love Lucille(it’s misspelled on their board), the bartender who came in after her and I got wings which killed the game for me. Honey and siracha seasoned with rosemary. Hot damn!!! Ate those right up. I’ll keep coming here because my family likes to stop in after we hike but it’s still not my favorite close to home.
