The customer service in the deli is horrible. They are extremely slow and very rarely acknowledge you waiting.

This is by far my longest grocery store visit everrrr just to pick up some chips and liquor for a dinner party. This was around 8pmish. Rang the bell for assistant at the liquor cage, waited for 5 min and still no one showed up… finally decided to hunt for help. After 10 Mins of wandering for A clerk, I finally found Someone. however they said they couldn’t help and didnt have the access or keys. With no additional offer to get someone else to help, i was frustrated and had to «demand» her to get someone to help me. 5 mins later someone finally came by to assist. This trip was literally 30 mins when it should have been no more than 10 mins. I understand why the liquors are locked up, but then again why lock it up when it’s going to take this long to sell them?!? Might as well open the ma and pa liquor that was next door to them again.

Happy 4th of July everybody! Today I came here to safetway for a bucket of fried chicken.(and a bottle of tequila) the bucket of chicken was $ 13.99 for 16 pieces. I got home and took a wing out to eat. It was so old and dry that it literally fell into ashes in my hand. Yuck ! So i returned it for fresh cooked chicken. I’ve been standing here at the counter for 40+ minutes waiting for my food. The Asian guy and elderly caucasian woman are busy cleaning up and taking forever making a fresh batch of chicken. At this rate we will miss all the fireworks! Its 8:10 pm and we returned the chicken at 7:20pm. Im not going to complain. As i don’t want free food or anything. Ill just write this review as i stand here twittering my thumbs. I would understand if it was busy, but it is not. Hopefully your local safety doesn’t have shit service like this. Please test the freshness of your chicken before you leave the store.
