New Leaf Pest Control

Our real estate agent referred us to New Leaf when we had some basement water intrusion and drainage issues in the recent heavy rains. The estimator came out promptly, diagnosed the issue, gave us an estimate, and a realistic idea on scheduling. The crew arrived on schedule and despite very difficult weather conditions completed all the work at bid price. The crew was professional and friendly. We were particularly impressed with the care they took with the small details and that they left all the work site in better shape then they found it. If you are struggling with a similar water issue I recommend New Leaf!

Not impressed with the quality or price. Be super careful if you’re a single woman; I think some of their estimators treat you like an idiot to be taken advantage of if you’re a single gal homeowner. I was quoted well over 1.3K to lay down some vapor barrier under my TINY house (seriously less than 800 SF), replace a little «breather» screen, and stick a brick under one of the posts under my house. Turns out, they didn’t even tape or secure the vapor barrier very well.
Initially I’d asked them what I could do to bring the price down, could I buy my own materials? Could we work on this together? And the guy «Eric» got all huffy.. . «well our overhead is blah blah blah»
The thing is… the work took less than 3 hours. That’s almost $ 500 per hour. (Cost of materials being negligible here; vapor barrier is something like pennies per square foot. Bricks are about $ 2 apeice)
Worse of all: they missed one of the main things that needed done — a big chunk of rot that the ASHI inspector had found before I bought the house.
After lots of effort, missing meetings at work to call and talk to the owner, phone calls and rescheduling they came out and fixed that mistake. But would I have gotten my money’s worth if I hadn’t followed up with the concerns? Not even close!

Thank you Blake and New Leaf! We moved into a rental and I knew I smelled something funky since the day we moved in. I notified the landlord but they wouldn’t do anything about it. We have a baby so I looked for a service that used safe products. The smell in this room was literally driving me crazy and interfering with my quality of life. Blake was super nice and came out same day that we called and told us that sure enough there had been animal activity in the crawl space. He came back and did the decontamination and the smell is completely gone!!! We can’t thank you enough. Thank you so much for giving us this peace.

Great company. We will see how the ant issue is in 30 days. But really enjoyed the company. They came out and listened to my issues about my ants. I have never had a house sprayed for ants so was very glad that he listened to all my questions.
After he sprayed my house he asked me if there was anything else I wanted treated before he left. He made sure I was happy with the work before he left. Enjoy companies who take the extra steps to make customers happy.
