HORRIBLE!!! never get eyelash extensions here! Never get anything here actually!
Technician was rude and repeatedly asked me to open my eyes when she was done I told her that i couldnt. I couldn’t because she had glued the corners of my eyes shut. When i finally was able to open them, my eyes were just pouring out water and burning so bad. The technician said it was normal because the glue is so strong but it felt like she got the glue in my eyes.
After all was done, i look in the mirror and have these huge thick lashes that were not natural looking by any means, she did not do what i asked for, i told i did not like them, she said «oh just get use to them you will love them.»
So i paid my 100 $ and left them something i did not ask for, them about 2 days later my eyelids are swollen, and hurting so bad, the lashes are clumped together and they look horrible, so when they were getting appiled the lady told me to put baby oil on them to remove them for any reason so that what i did.
The baby oil did not work, so i called them to see if they would help me and they hung up on me

Luxury Salon and Spa, Not! It was a fricken dive to me.
Busted my butt to be on time. Thought I was in the wrong place when I went in. Barber shop? 3 crowded seats, one left. Lady barber gave me some forms to fill out after a few minutes. Second page was for a facial form. 13 min. after my scheduled time masseuse came out and said wrong form. Disappeared for 5 minutes and said ready, after I had been there 25 minutes.
The massage itself was just okay, but then there was the room.
A very small room with no hooks or any place to hang or put my personal belongings. Not even a chair. A small stool at end of the table but how is the masseuse going to navigate around the table?
Sure enough I could here her maneuvering with difficulty at the foot end of the table and bumping my head and scraping the wall at the other end. Ridiculous! Yeah, pretty frustrated with the late start, but trying to make the most of it and relax and enjoy it.
Noise level was pretty high over the soft music. Voices, laughing, and some compressor or something running. Sounded like a semi idling in the next room.
Did that intake form really say mandatory 18% gratuity based on retail value at end of massage? A $ 125.00 value listed on the form. Yes it was a Groupon at $ 59.00, a $ 90.00 value was the original value. I base gratuity on the quality of service and usually tip generously, but something stating mandatory just rubs me the wrong way!
At those rates I was really expecting to be pampered in luxurious surroundings, not a crowed noisy barber shop setting out front with a tiny room with no hooks!
Then there was the table. My chin kept hitting a cold metal bar. She adjusted it twice, but some how it was hard and not comfortable at all.
The traditional lumbar pillow for the legs was a full size pillow and after requesting it be moved up twice, just didn’t support the legs properly and was crooked.
There was a heating element I believe in the massage table that the wire stuck into my breast bone. Squirmed around to dodge it somewhat and had to keep shifting my face on that uncomfortable face doughnut.
Relax, I kept telling myself, it will be over soon. I did get a full hour but luck I didn’t have other appointments afterwards or I would have been very late. The paper cup of lukewarm water at the end didn’t hit the spot either, really?
I feel sorry for my masseuse having to work in that sub standard environment, she could do better, but there was no excuse for such a late start and the overall impression when entering such an establishment with «Luxury» Salon as its name. Not even a receptionist or counter when you enter.
Needless to say, I won’t be back! Save your money and try somewhere else!

I received a hot stone massage and foot scrub thru a groupon. The place is not ideal for a massage as there’s also a hair salon so you can hear loud talking just outside your door during the massage, more from employees than customers! They also charge a mandatory 18% gratuity on the full price of the massage. I have no problem tipping but I do believe that my tip should be based on the service I received, not a mandatory flat amount. No other place has required this where I’ve gotten massages. My massage therapist left me in the room for 10 minutes, after telling me to get on the table, while she was on the phone. She asked about any comfort requirements and I need towels underneath my stomsch due to a previous surgery. She said she was happy to provide those to me but then forgot. She later asked me if I wanted water after the massage and I said yes and she proceeded to forget that also. I will say the massage itself was very nice and very relaxing, other than the noise. But, for the price, there are many better choices.

Well, John W., business owner, you’re just now reading my review? You have NO idea what transpired during that appointment or what I asked for. I had just moved into the area and had not even BEEN to a salon because a friend of a friend had done my fill prior to the disastrous event that transpired at your business!
I specifically asked the technician, numerous times mind you, if she was applying ONE extension per one of my natural lashes. Your technician kept assuring me that’s what she was doing. I’ve done extensions. I know how they are supposed to PROPERLY be applied!
Your technician was rude and repeatedly asked me to open my eyes when she was finished. I told her that I would if I could. You see, I couldn’t open my eyes because she had glued the top lashes to bottom lashes. When I was able to finally open them, my eyes were stinging so terribly bad… red and watering from the glue that got in my eyes. No apology, nothing from your technician.
When I was finally able to see, I looked in the mirror and was horrified! She had put numerous clusters of lashes on my natural lashes… not a «natural» look whatsoever, which is the look I HAD and the look I wanted to KEEP! What’s the point in asking the client what she wants if the technician is going to totally disregard what she says?
I called 2 days later… NOT 2 WEEKS later, John W. I called because the clusters of lashes were so heavy they were drooping and in my field of vision.
As a business owner of a business that should cater to your clients and at least TRY to make them happy, maybe getting the facts straight and offering an apology for the rudeness of your technician/​manager would help.
After reading your reviews, maybe you should think about who you have working for you and representing YOUR business. Businesses make it by referrals and providing good customer service. I have not and will not refer anyone to your salon!

My wife and I booked a couples massage with a salt bath, and the whole experience was amazing. The entire staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. The salt bath lasted 30 minutes and we were provided apple cider and grapes. Afterwards, we got dried off and received an hour and a half massage. Both our masseuses were top notch. It was a great experience for us both and we will definitely be back.

BEWARE!!! OK I’ll try to keep this short.
I bought a Groupon deal for $ 59.00 for a massage. I went in today for a 10:15 A.M. appointment. First off, the massage therapist was about 20 minutes late, which was not a problem. I was waiting while listening to the manager walk in and very rudely tell the receptionist that this is unacceptable and not OK, she cannot do this.
I get taken back and got my massage, which was OK. I come out to pay and the receptionist tells me «gratuity»? I give her my card and I asked her to charge $ 10.00 which is 18% of $ 59.00 she runs my card for $ 20.00 and tells me, hold on. Calls her manager and only speaks Russian to her and then says «ok she needs to pay $ 20.»? I asked to talk to her and tell her how unprofessional she is and this policy is ridiculous. The receptionist tells me I need to pay 20% of the FULL massage price. I was so upset at this point I just wanted to leave. I only later did the actually math. I wish they would have too, before charging my card. OK people. Your massage that I received is $ 75.00 right? so 20% of this comes to $ 14.00 tip. So why run my card for $ 20??? I’m so upset that I feel like I’ve been taken for a fool.
This establishment is a TOTAL JOKE and I can almost guarantee that they will be closed down soon just like there neighbor one or two doors down.

The rating is not for our massage therapist Raiquo who was AMAZING! If we come back one day it will be definitely for her, because we had a wonderful time, she was very sweet, knows her job and we could not hope for better!
However, the rating is for the place… We booked a couples package for our Anniversary, which includes bath salts and massages for both of us, for $ 225. On the day of our appointment they call us telling that one of the massage therapist is sick so we won’t be able to do it… so you realized that it’s impossible to find another place where they have availability for a couples massage. They tell us that they would offer us bath salts of a $ 95 value. Very nice gesture, we end up not canceling after calling a few other places since it was our original plan and we are ready to have a wonderful time even if we wanted to share that moment. So basically, we still have the Couples packages but while I’m in the bath my husband get a massage, then we switch.
After our relaxing, amazing time, time to pay and she tells us that the total is … $ 225! I ask her about the free baths, she say she took it out of the total price… Now my question is why did we pay that much? Couple massages is only $ 190 but since we booked for a couples package, with the discount they offered we should be closer to $ 150?!? I don’t really know how they count, but we ended up paying what we were supposed to pay and we didn’t even share that moment! So I bet the excuse will be that they didn’t update their website (apparently other people had that issue a few years ago), but we are really disappointed about that experience. It is already very expensive and in a way we got robbed.

Do not go to this place! I had a pretty terrible experience from start to finish. I had scheduled a 60 minute prenatal massage. First they called the day of my appointment to say that the masseuse had over booked at her other job so I needed to move my time to later. This was super inconvenient since I’d already planned my day and was out running errands. I tried to be nice and agreed to a later time-​2 hours later than my previously scheduled appointment. The person on the phone promised it would be worth it. I should have taken it as a sign to run! When I got led to the back room where my massage was it was freezing cold in the room! The masseuse apologized for me having me move my appointment and blamed it on the salon– not anything to do with her (not sure who was to blame). As she started my massage she said that she was doing a certain type of massage and I may not feel the full benefits of it since I was pregnant and on my side, which begged the question, why didn’t she do a massage that would be more beneficial since it was supposed to be a prenatal massage? And that was just the start. She stated at least three other different times during the massage that it was difficult for her to do it because I was pregnant. I’ve gotten numerous prenatal massages and never had anyone ever say anything like that. She had me feeling bad that I had gotten a massage in the first place and had me panicking that she probably wasn’t even certified to give this kind of massage. Then to top it all off at the end she said that this kind of massage includes saying a prayer over my baby! I had no idea how to respond and she could tell I was uncomfortable with that so she wished me a safe delivery. As I came out of the room I heard her telling the front desk person that it was difficult to do the massage cause I was pregnant. So that’s 5 times from start to finish I had to hear her complain about giving the service I had paid for. As I went out to pay I expected at least an apology or discount for having to rearrange my day cause of their screw up but there was none. Absolutely awful experience. I called the next day and asked to speak to talk to the manager about my experience and was assured she would call me back. Days went by without hearing anything so I called again. I was told the manager was there but busy and she’d call me back. It’s been weeks and I haven’t heard anything so I’m writing this review to help warn others to stay away.

Turn around, run far, far away!
I had the worst experience with this place from the second I called them for an apt. I should have know by the bad reviews and my gut feeling.
Where do I start, terrible unprofessional customer service. They moved my apt and then called a week later to tell me they never made my apt. I should have known at this point to run away.
My European Seaweed Facial was just ok, I expected a little more. At the end, the Esthetician placed a mask on my face and left the room for 15 min. Usually my past facials included a neck, arm, hand massage. I was a little self conscious as the Esthetician told me I needed to stop taking my Dermatologist prescribed topical facial medication several times.
I was using a Groupon and I was told I HAD to leave a 18% gratuity (of $ 21) on the regular price of $ 115.00 on the European Seaweed Facial. Looking at their prices online it states regular price of their European Seaweed Facial is $ 79.00.
I usually tip based on the experience, spa services are supposed to be relaxing and this whole experience has been TERRIBLE, and has caused so much stress in my life.

I… fell asleep at an infusion before my appointment here, and the nurses let me sleep… When I was fifteen minutes late for my appointment here… they called… I rushed down there, and was a total of 30 minutes late… and because I had prepaid for the service, Natalya honored my entire hour… even calling the next customer to give them a heads up and to come in a bit later… (For which I feel bad about). She was completely gracious and I’m very grateful…

So here’s the run down on Luxury Salon and Spa. I go here to get my hair did. And Rachelle Houghton does my hair. She does an absolutely AMAZING job! My hair cuts are always on point (I’m trying to grow it out for my wedding and she keeps the length while allowing my hair to still have a «shape». Super important when you wear your hair curly sometimes!) and the color is
. Seriously, this is the best colorist I have been to and I have spent way more money on my hair than I do here. She’s knowledgable about the products she uses and will talk you out of bad hair ideas (ya know how that goes!). She got me hooked on the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi line and it has done wonders for my hair. It’s not that she is pushy with selling product, it is that she knows what works for your hair and will prolong your services so you always look right. Five stars for Rachelle.

If you want Luxury –this is the place to go! I have come here for multiple services: cellulite treatment, waxing, and eyelash extensions. Elena is an eyelash guru! She puts so much time and effort into her practice and it definitely shows. Every single time I left satisfied and very happy with with my results. I was always greeted and offered a beverage. I never had to wait for an appointment and they always found a way to fit me into their schedule. This place is awesome and definitely worth the trip from Portland.
As for the not so pleasant reviews– every private business is different and can’t be categorized with other salons. You can’t expect everything to be absolutely perfect. I appreciate all the efforts that have been made to expand this salon and intend to be a returning customer for many years.

My husband booked me a 3 hour spa package for my birthday that on their website displayed as «$ 249 for a bath, facial and 90 minute massage». When he booked, they told him it was $ 300, ok, maybe they’ve since increased the price…
I go in for my appointment and the last thing to do was the massage. My husband had said I’d be getting a 90 minute massage, but while talking to my masseuse, she said I was scheduled for a 60 minute massage. I insisted that my husband who had booked and paid for the services was under the impression it was 90 minutes. She said she would verify and came back to say that she was right, I was scheduled for 60 minutes.
Afterwards, I told my husband that it was a 60 minute massage and not 90 that he thought it was, he pulled up their website that showed «$ 249 for bath, facial and 90 minute massage».
We understand sometimes the prices of things increase, however, a $ 51 increase AND a decrease of 30 minutes of the massage. HIGHLY doubtful or way overpriced, especially considering that if you add the costs of these things separately they don’t add up to anywhere near $ 300 (isn’t the point of those packages to save money?).
My assumption would be whoever scheduled it didn’t book it correctly for a 90 minute massage and they didn’t want to stretch out my appointment (they were already running 20 minutes behind because the bath ran long because the person doing my facial (who seems to be the owner, Jeannie herself) didn’t have anything set up and ready for my facial (so the review below about her being disorganized and unprofessional is spot on).
My husband called and told them that the services he booked and what I received was not the same. They told him the website prices were outdated, he cited that in addition to the price difference, the package had 90 minute massage listed, not 60 minutes, then they said that it should have been 90 minutes and that they would talk to the owner and call him back.
Any reputable company would either refund the difference in price (to make up for the decrease in service due to false advertising) or would offer a 30 minute massage for free or half off a 60 minute massage.
However, he got a call back over a week later (only after he called again to ask why he hadn’t heard back yet) stating that the owner said that «we all told your wife that it was only 60 minutes and you were told it was 60 minutes when you booked and paid for it». The fact is, he was not told that, and the website he was going off of said 90 minutes. They were not doing ANYTHING to make up for the bait and switch they had done.
**Note that by now their website HAD been updated to say 60 minutes massage for that package instead of 90 minutes, however, the price still shows $ 249… Most likely because they realize that should be the fair price if its only a 60 minute massage included, yet for us they charged $ 300.

Reading through the other reviews below, I wish my husband had seen some of those before booking so we could have avoided this place altogether. Places like this are why reviews are so important to read. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

A mixed bag. I came here for a massage and what I got was a good solid deep tissue massage. The massage was just what I needed. Sadly most of the rest of the experience was disappointing and frustrating.
For a $ 110 massage, I guess expected a little more on the ambiance, customer service part. There are lots of places in the area where you can get a good massage for a lot less. So when I’m going info a premium service my expectations are higher.
So my gripes–
It was loud. Like really loud. There is a few hair stations out front and all the noise carries into the massage room. So just as you are starting to drift away… Loud laughing, gossiping, comparing hair products.
Also the owner seemed disorganized and unprofessional. When i walked in she was training someone and didn’t stop lecturing them to look up and greet me. I wasn’t offered tea, water, a seat, anything.
In the end, when I went to pay there was some confusion. I was paying in part with an expired Groupon. When a groupon expires you can still use it for the value you paid for it. That’s the law. I had the coupon on my smart phone. She needed her smart phone to scan my coupon. She couldn’t find her phone. I stood there while she ran around looking for her phone. In the end I said look, I’ll press redeem button right now, which makes it so I can’t use it again.
My mellow ended up harshed by her calling me after and telling me my groupon had already been redeemed. (I assume she finally found her phone and manually entered my Groupon number) So she tells me I needed to give her credit card number to pay for the rest. Um??? Really. After all that. Honestly a little offended. If you own a business, even if you just took it over, you need to understand the basics of how these things work. And do a little fact checking before jumping the gun and trying to charge someone for something they have already paid for.
PS Edited to reduce stars. Even getting a good massage is not worth dealing with these unprofessional people. Today I got another phone call from the previous owner now saying that I couldn’t use my groupon towards that massage because it was originally for a different service. Problem is– I asked the receptionist if I could apply it! And she said I could. I simply can’t believe they are still on me about this. I get this, you don’t like honoring expired Groupons, you already spent the money. But you have to, it’s the way it works. If I couldn’t use it for the service I used it for you should of told me up front. Not a week later.

Great salon! Location is very convenient. I’ve had several massages and facials that I’m very pleased with. Great staff and atmosphere!

This place is by far the most unprofessional salon I’ve ever been to. Not only did the hair stylist not show up to the appointment, I waited for almost an hour but to have the owner call me and try to explain why she was a no show and then insult me was baffling. Also after multiple calls to get in touch with the owner, she never returned my calls. Take your money and go to an established salon that treats you like a customer should be treated and not this dump. There are wonderful salons in Vancouver that put this place to shame.

Great place and awesome staff! The décor is def not overkill. I’ve been in dozens of spas and this place is very nice. The couple that owns it know what they’re doing.

I loved the way they decorated this place. The dim red lights were so relaxing and beautiful. The whole place was beautiful. I have been to several spas not just in Washington, but in California and Nevada as well and Luxury was better than all of them by far. All the girls here did a really nice job on me. I had one of those 90% off package deals and it was 100% worth it. Totally recommend this place to anyone!

Décor is a bit on the overkill side. Lots of black and red that’s kind of overstimulating.
I went in for the 30 minute LED facial, which they asked me numerous times to upgrade to the «Gold mask facial,» and I kindly (very patiently) declined since I bought the Groupon for a reason — I wanted just the Groupon facial.
The facial was mainly LED light therapy. That was fine with me, but what I didn’t expect was for the esthetician to ask me about my skincare regimen while washing my face in a rushed manner. I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to talk when someone is giving your face a speedy rubdown with soapy hands! Every other esthetician I’ve ever had has been respectful enough to sit and hear about my skincare regimen face-​to-​face BEFORE starting any kind of treatment.
I also found it a little weird that they sell Amway skincare products. Spas typically sell more commercially well-​known skincare lines. It’s like walking into Sephora and seeing Avon products on the shelves… strange? I think so.

Such a beautiful décor and a great atmosphere!
I have my hair done with Jessi, she is amazing and my hair is always perfect after I see her!
