I grew up going to Del Taco in Southern California. I didn’t expect it to be up to those standards, however it was just not good. I had to explain my order in detail, which isn’t a big deal but you would think the common terms would be understood. My food was poorly wrapped and messy. The fries — which are always great at any Del Taco — appear to have been fried and refried. Even Coke tasted weird. On a positive note, the customer service was very good.

They made my chicken tacos on the wrong kind of tortilla, when I brought it back they just scraped it onto a new tortilla! So guess what? Pretty much no sauce left! They messed it up in the first place, can’t they just remake it correctly?

The thing about Del Taco in the Pacific NW is that it isn’t a native institution. Therefore, those who operate Del Taco franchises in the PNW may not know what the actual taste of Del Taco is or supposed to be. Sure, various food stuffs may arrive prepackaged and precooked, the spices pre-mixed and menu pre-decided, but there’s something innately missing. I believe the missing component is experience, real-life experience, that which can only be had growing up in Anywhere, California. To know that there was always a Del Taco close by, and that hunger was readily satiated with the ever-so affordable $ 0.99 Red(or) Green Burrito. And the Veggie Works Burrito. F*ck dude. And how could I ever forget the Macho Fries served in a 32-oz cup? And though these days are gone, they used to have $ 0.49 tacos for when you were really on the strugg’, like, for real-real. HEY! CALMDOWN! I’m allowed to have valid life experiences despite having been born and raised in Southern California! My value as a human is not lessened because I come from the land down under! Whoa. Wasn’t going for the Men At Work tie-in, but we’ll roll with it. Anyways, my point is that those who operate these Del Taco(s) don’t know what Del Taco is actually supposed to taste/feel like. It’s more than just garbage fast food — it’s SPECIAL garbage fast food. Del Taco has an intangible quality, one which cannot be spoken of, only felt. Del Taco is a feeling.

Good food, language barrier. If they mess up your food tho, they’ll replace it. Clean, cheap.

We visit Del Taco whenever we can and have never had problems. This one is an exception. Naseem the shift leader got our order wrong 4 times! The food was good once it was correct but do not go when this guy is working. Piss poor performance for a representative of management.

Whenever I think that it’s a good idea to get food here, I’ve always had about one too many drinks. This last occasion was one such night. As usual, I immediately regretted the decision as soon as the meal was over. I’m still full of «regrets» the next day…

For fast food mexican, this place isn’t bad at all. I usually use the drive thru as it’s much quicker and the lady taking the order is usually pretty friendly. I am a fan of their chicken crunchtada pizza(only $ 2.50 as of this review), the macho nacho’s($ 4.49 for steak or chicken), double del cheeseburger($ 3.39), and the half pound bean and cheese with green sauce($ 1.00). Their epic burrito’s for $ 5 are pretty small burrito’s on taco bell level so I would avoid those. Also during the holidays, they are offering 5 free combo meals with a $ 100 gift card. It’s worth it for me since I live close and I am a fan of their chicken.

I really enjoy this Del Taco. They have strawberry lemonade that uses real strawberries. Love it! Fish tacos w/lime are good and for fast food is not bad at all.

SW corner of NE Hwy 99 and NE88th St. For those who’ve not been to the Westcoast Wonderchain known as Del Taco then you are missing out. I was going to only give this place 3 stars, but I know if they were gone or not there that I’d totally miss them so I am glad they are there for me to go to whenever I’d like without taking their presence for granted! We have Del in Southern California and they have it in Vegas and I just love their food. A complaint from me about DT is quite rare. DT is known for their Mexican inspired specialties and probably being Taco Bell’s biggest competitor, but did you know they have some American favorites too? Well besides their scrumptious fries of course. The hamburgers and cheeseburgers are the«Bees Knees!» Seriously what does that even mean? Is that like some sort of weak play on the word«business?» Anyway… sure their interior is corporate and contrived… so what… it’s kept nice and clean and their staff here is expedient. There is PLENTY of parking here too! You can’t see me right now, but I am smiling like the Cheshire Cat right now because Shredded Beef is back! Juicy, succulent, and oh so tender! I can’t wait to pick up a burrito!

Yep, it is pretty much what you expect. The quality of food is on the very low side of things with the only redeeming items being the chicken/fish tacos. The beef is very odd in that it does not even remotely resemble or taste like beef. Pros: Fast and clean on the inside. There rarely seems to be anyone in there, which is great if you don’t want anybody looking at you while you eat this stuff. Cons: The food is pretty much just pre-waste. The presentation makes Taco Bell look as if it were prepared by Julia Child.

Del’s prices keep going up for some reason. However, it’s still way better quick Mexican food than Taco Bell. Fresh cooked beans, cheese grated on site, and a surprisingly good hamburger round out some of the highlights of the menu. This location is not open 24 hours, although most of the chain is. Specials are available, including«taco Tuesdays» and pricing on fish tacos on Fridays during Lent. Clark County’s other Del Taco closed and converted to Popeye’s. I suspect the same owner runs both franchises as an adjacent lot to this store is also now a Popeye’s chicken.

Went through drive thru and had the pleasure of repeating our order 5 times. Drove off and the order was still not right. Skimpy servings, mediocre taste and bad service. Would rather pay more and have decent Mexican food at Muchas Gracias!

Used to think this place was OK, then I went inside one day and could see the kitchen. I don’t eat here any longer.

Fish Taco Fridays! I’ve only been through the drive-thru, but my orders have always been correct. I’m a little addicted to their fish tacos right now, and on Fridays they’re only $ 0.99. Score!

Delicious and inexpensive tacos and burritos!!! The employees are great, too. They are fast and friendly. It does not smell there… haha. I have been going there for a few years, and there is no sewage smell. If it did stink at one time, they must have fixed it!

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Del Taco rocks! It’s never too busy, and the employees are friendly. The store is clean and prices are good. There are combo and party pack specials that beat Taco Bell any day of the week. The burritos are super flavorful for fast food, the hot sauce is actually HOT, crazy seasonal choices like fried mac n cheese, and OMG the fries in those huge cups! Skip the long lines at Popeye’s next door, and show Taco Bell who’s boss. Don’t forget to Macho size it ;)

I love Del Taco! Up until a couple years ago, the closest one was in Redding, California. Now the closest one to me(in Seattle) is in Vancouver, WA. I still go to the one in Redding. There is something seriously wrong with the Vancouver Del Taco. The two times I have gone there, the place smelled like sewage. Seriously. I am not sure if it’s near a sewage plant, or if there is something seriously wrong with their sewage system, but it’s really gross. It makes the food pretty unedible. PROS: I don’t have to drive 600 miles to eat Del Taco. CONS: I still have to drive, like, 150 miles. The place smells like poop.
