I had an okay experience. I was given a gift certificate for my birthday last year. I scheduled my massage and facial weeks in advance, arrived early for my appointment, but also had to wait due to the person before me arriving late. They only have one facialist and one massage therapist(that I know of). I had my facial first by Joann. She is amazing! However, after she was done, I was left in the aesthetician chair for over an hour while someone else was getting a massage(DURINGMYAPPT!!!). Then, when she was done with her client, she decided she was sick and couldn’t handle another appointment. I decided if she was that flaky that I didn’t need a massage from her. So, I did end up scheduling a 2nd facial with Joann. She’s great, but I just can’t see going back there with my own money. Beware of ordering a gift certificate over the phone. My mom bought this for me from 3000 miles away. When I went to use my certificate, they couldn’t actually find the payment information. I had to call my mom who provided the date of purchase. Needless to say, she was rather unhappy with that situation. After a lot of digging around the rather disorganized desk area, they did find the gift certificate. I spent four hours there for a 50 minute facial. A bit ridiculous.

Very friendly, cute place. Good variety of products, but lacking in service satisfaction. Massage was horrible and facial was just okay. A waste of time and money for me.

I have been going to Beyond Bliss for over 7 years. Jo Ann gives the best facials in town and is always prompt, courteous, and professional. All services are reasonably priced, and they carry a wide variety of top notch products available for purchase. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was scheduled to have a facial at 2 pm today. Having booked the appointment last month and confirmed it yesterday, I arrived a few minutes before 2 to find the door locked and a sign saying that they were with clients and that they would reopen at 2:15. I tried calling them but(because they were all with clients) no one answered. Tired of standing out in the cold, I knocked on the door — the massage therapist came and let me in and confirmed that my appointment was scheduled for 2 but said that the person before me had come late and that the appointment was running over. At 2:15, another employee came out — she told me that my facialist would be with me in a ‘few minutes’ but could not confirm when my appointment would actually start. At 2:20 with no sign of the appointment before mine wrapping up, I gave up and walked out. I am surprised and disappointed at the complete lack of courtesy and professionalism — while I understand that the person before me was running late, this was not my problem — the spa should have given that person the option of either accepting a shortened treatment or rescheduling. Finally, it is ridiculous that the salon does not staff the front with a receptionist so that customers can avoid standing in the cold/rain.(During the time I was waiting to get inside, 2 other customers came to buy products but finding the door locked they walked away — it is amazing this salon even stays in business.)
