You can’t easily maneuver here because of parked vehicles. The owner is unresponsive. Gate codes change without warning and the owner can’t be contacted for the new code. Beware being late with a payment by even a day or two because you are slapped with an outrageous late payment. There is no grace period. And whatever you do, don’t accidentally pay beyond your final month of use. After one of those«late payment penalties» we set up an automatic payment from our bank. Unfortunately, the bank had already processed the payment around the 20th of the month for the coming month when we decided to close our unit. The response from the owner when we asked for a refund? «Unfortunately, we do not make refunds.» DON’T STORETHERE!

It’s not a bad little storage yard and the rates started out decent, however: –It’s difficult to navigate my vehicle through the yard because units are close together and vehicles(specifically a motor home) are parked in such a way that they impede turning radius. –The owner(Richard Keller) is prominently advertised as being on call, but is extremely difficult to get a hold of. It can take hours for him to return calls, texts or e-mails, if he even gets back to you at all. –Rates were just increased another $ 20 with the justification that other places charge just as much or more. –I always have my payment mailed so it is received the first week of the month, but dates cashed can vary as much as two weeks, in which time I’ve been charged $ 15.00 per week late fees. –The combination at the gate was changed without notice so I was unable to access my unit. Mr. Keller did not respond to my messages in a timely manner and the neighbor who acts as Mr. Keller’s agent refused to help me, despite proof of my having a unit there and my account being in good standing. The waste of time and gas are frustrating. Inability to access my possessions in a unit I am paying for is simply wrong. –Spiders. Huge spiders. Yikes!!.(The rabbit that lives at the storage yard is cute, though) I’ve left messages for Mr. Keller on his voicemail, texted him and have attempted to reach him in writing about these issues.(lol except the spiders) If/when he sees this review he’ll know who posted it. If there is any retaliatory action I’ll be sure to update this review. I am considering contacting a consumer protection advocate specializing in contract law. Hopefully things change for the better. It’s inconvenient for me to move my things out of this storage unit right now, otherwise I would simply do so.
