A J’s Custom Embroidery

Bought my nieces cute sleeping bags for Christmas and I wanted to embroider their names on them. I knew they would be using these bags for camping so I tried to buy nice warm bags. I took them to the mall to a temporary, seasonal embroidery store. They told me that the sleeping bags were too thick for their hoops and they wouldn’t be able to do them. They said normally the names were embroidered on the top layer before it is sewn together. I was so disappointed. So I started calling around to other embroidery shops and most of them don’t do personal items. You have to buy their product (ie shirts, hats etc) and then they will embroider it for you. But when I called A’J’s they said they could do it. Only draw back. they are only open Monday thru Friday 10:30 to 5:30. So I sent my husband there the next day with the sleeping bags. He dropped them off at about 10:30 a.m. The woman there said it would be a challenge but she would figure something out. About 12:30p.m he got a call saying that the sleeping bags were already done! He had already driven home to Portland and asked to pick them up the next day. She agreed & when he showed up the next day the girls there were so nice. They gave him a complimentary Calender & pens. They said 1 of the bags was pretty hard but they managed. They looked great & my nieces loved them.
