Came here to take some drum lessons last year. You can’t beat the price. Great place to start playing music.

I just found White Oak Music and Arts recently and signed my son up for their summer rock camp. I was a little afraid it would be «all rock all the time,» but it’s an incredibly well round musical enrichment program! He comes home everyday talking about new styles of music, different composers, and even asked me to sign him up for drum lessons. The staff and teachers are wonderful. So friendly, professional, and encouraging of my son. He’s even made friends with other students who take lessons there too. It’s super affordable and a great facility. If you’re looking for quality music lessons this is the place to go!!!

I came to White Oak Music & Arts to attend a ska show they were hosting, and honestly did not expect the venue to be a music shop as well. As you walk into the venue, you see instruments hanging on the wall. If you walk further back you see a doorway that leads into a stage room. The stage room had a fairly large stage and was very spacious.
Although it was spacious, there were a lot of people that night and it got really hot really fast. They did have a fan in the room but it was towards the front and not big enough for everyone. A lot of us had to step out of the room to cool down. Thankfully they were selling water outside.
The staff seemed to be helpful. I often saw them helping with the band transitions, which helped avoid delay. As far as finding this place it was quite easy to spot. Finding parking, however, was not as simple. We had to park in a nearby neighborhood because it was the only available space. I’m giving this place 4 out of 5 stars because of the stuffy room and because of the parking. Overall, I was pretty happy with my experience at White Oak Music & Arts.

First time here, nice big venue & practice space! Excellent place to record, take music lessons, become a star!

This is a review of White Oak Music and Arts as a music venue. There are a few things that really stood out to me, starting with the friendly people that work here. My friends and I arrived early for a show and they were super cool about having us sit and hang out while we waited for the doors to open.
We didn’t go in right when the show started, which brings me to the second thing: the door to the stage area is pretty awesome. There was SUCH a difference in sound when it was opened and when it was closed. Pretty sweet soundproofing there.
The stage area itself was just okay. The floor space is kinda small, and it really felt like a school performance space, without the seats. Listening to the warm ups, the sound guy in the back sounded like somebody’s dad (i.e. «That’s just too loud. Turn it down a bit» etc.). I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.
Overall, I had a pretty good time here. This place has got potential.

Wonderful facilities with great gear, sound, stage, and lighting. Excellent instructors. Reasonable prices. My kids love it here. Easy street or back of shop parking. The staff is friendly. Feels like family. A real find in the Valley.

I LOVE this place. A combination music school, store, and entertaining venue. A friendly and professional staff. A beautiful safe location. Easy to find with plenty of convenient neighborhood parking and a small enclosed lot behind.
The school offers individual or group lessons in multiple musical instruments and vocal training. They also offer different musical performance programs and stage opportunities for students of all ages.
They have a beautiful, state of the art, showcase room with a stage, and professional lighting and sound. It was clearly built by musicians, for musicians. Great venue for bands to play or to rent out for private occasions (like a Sweet 16, Fundraiser, or even an Office Holiday Party.) Plenty of room for dancing or tables.
My sons’ band played an all-​ages show here and we were really impressed with the helpful staff and the cleanliness of the venue. They definitely love what they do here. This place has a great relaxed vibe– makes you want to just hang-​out for awhile and hear some good tunes.

White Oak Music and Art is a true gem in the Valley. The teaching staff is great, the programs are fantastic, the performance space is beautiful (and is available to rent for your event), and if you are looking to purchase any instrument, they can order it for you. I highly recommend checking this place out!
My daughter had a fundraising event there last February. The staff there could not have been more helpful. She has also participated in the Front the Band program, and is planning on starting guitar lessons soon. My family cannot say enough good things about WOMA! Just a great place!
