Update — A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Sam Jacobs, who identified himself as Director at Sunergy. He informed me that after mine and other negative reviews came to the company’s attention, they made numerous staffing changes to ensure that the customer service experience was made top priority. In addition to assuring me that Sunergy had reversed all the disputed charges with GreenSky, he went on to offer me a $ 100 gift card to a local restaurant of my choice as a show of good faith. After I verified with GreenSky that my dispute was, in fact, fully resolved, I accepted Sam’s offer, and within minutes I received my requested gift card. So, while I cannot attest to the quality of their work selling and installing solar systems, I do feel they have made an earnest effort and should be considered from a neutral starting position.

Update — Three weeks ago I was contacted by Matt Cohen at Sunergy by phone. He informed me that Sunergy was trying to improve the customer service experience. He confirmed that Sunergy has reversed all the disputed charges with GreenSky, he went on to offer me a $ 50 or $ 100 gift card to Cheesecake Factory as a show of good faith. He also requested I remove my negative review from Unilocal.I told him I would consider it. I have accepted Matt’s offer, and accepted the $ 50 dollar gift card. So, while I cannot attest to the quality of their work selling and installing solar systems, I do feel they have made an earnest effort to resolve the problems we encountered.
