I have been coming to her for the last 2 years. I always come here for all my hair removal care. She does an excellent job. She has a very soft hand and makes sure you’re satisfied with the job. I had been looking for someone who could thread my brows on my side of town and who would be consistent! After going to another shop in Pan City for about a year, I wound up leaving only because one of the girls took a chunk of my brow out leaving me having to use a pencil on my brows everyday.
Thanks to Unilocal,I have found my new brow guru. Puri is awesome, her shop is clean and even though I walk in — I never have to wait which is awesome! Her prices are really reasonable and my brows are growing and look great.

I came from Riverside out to the valley for school, so I had to find a person to do my eyebrows (I am a very selective person). After my first experience in September, I’ve been back ever since. Pouri is such an eyebrow guru and is so, so sweet. I highly recommend coming here for your eyebrows and it’s at a great inexpensive price as well.

I am happy I get to see her every month for my eyebrows and brazilian waxing. Pouri is a sweet person, I love her!

The lady who did my eyebrows (didn’t ask name) was very friendly and nice. She even helped me minutes before closing time. The place is very clean.
Yet, I did not like how she shaped my brows that is why I’m giving this place a 2 – 3 star. She left them very thin and my right brow is uneven to my left one.
I know she was in a hurry to leave so that might be why. I got charged $ 14 not so bad but I typically get charged $ 10 for eyebrows and upper lip. I’m just going to stay faithful to the lady I’ve been going to for 8 years.

My first time there today, and Pouri was amazing… definitely going back.

Had to get a quick fix as my eyebrows were con joining into a Star Trek character. Lady was very friendly and she was very clean. She used hand sanitizer and was very meticulous on my brows. She also used a moisturizing toner after to help the skin after about 12 000 hairs were plucked; will definitely be a regular!

Pouri is an incredible and beautiful woman … gentle and kind, and the work she does exceeded every expectation I may have had.
She is fast, painless, and left me easy, breezy and beautiful ;-)… after 7 months cycling from LA to Guatemala, it felt amazing to be pampered that way!
I had my half legs, bikini waxed and my eyebrows threaded… all prefect.

I finally found her, and this past Saturday had the pleasure of seeing her again.
She has a beauiful new space, and it was 15 minutes drive from the westside to her new location. Easy street parking as well.
I have searched high and low from European wax center to Queen Bee salon, and never have i found anyone to do Brazilian wax so painlessly, with effective techniques that cause no rash or pain.
She is professional and i usually can go 1 month before I need to see her again.

They’ve been messed up for a year now and no one I’ve gone to has been able to get it right. She knew exactly what to do and I was not disappointed. I went in today for eyebrow threading. Pouri welcomed me with all smiles and as usual, her salon was clean. She worked on my eyebrows for a few minutes and I ended up with amazing results.
Every time she does my eyebrows, I never end up having cuts or anything. Pouri is amazing!

Decided to look up a threading salon in my area because I was never fully satisfied with my usual appointments at two different Ziba Beauty locations (Glendale/​Canoga Park).
After reading the reviews and seeing the 5-​star rating I decided to try it out and immediately understood everyone’s raves about Pouri. She is THE BEST. She worked wonders on my brows. She really took the time to get every little piece of stubborn hairs and left my brows groomed to perfection.
Brownie points for the punchcard she gives out to keep you coming back for more — after 9 threading sessions you get the 10^th one for free!

It takes a lot for me to venture over the hill. I’ve been to see Pouri twice in the last 2 weeks to get the following treatments: eyebrow thread, bikini wax, under arm wax, and the fruit peel facial. These are pretty intimate treatments to get. This review could easily go TMI so I’m really going to choose my words carefully.
Pouri is a sweetheart! So friendly and warm. If I’m going to be naked from the waist down (tmi?), it’s important for me to be extremely comfortable with the person who does my waxing. I was at ease with Pouri right away. Her technique is very gentle. She also uses a special wax that is gentler on the skin. For threading it was important that I found someone who listened to me. I’ve been threading for years now having tried all other ways (all others) and I prefer threading. I told Pouri I’m trying to grow out my eyebrows so she just cleaned them up. My facial was on-​par with facials I’ve received at high end spas. For half the price of course. Don’t get me wrong, it’s no Burke-​Williams; I got my facial behind a partition but I didn’t mind because I was the only person there.
There is plenty of parking. Metered parking right out front for $.50 cents to park for a hour… take note Santa Monica! Behind the building, there is a large free parking lot. The entrance to the free lot is off Haynes just right down from the front of the store.
Of course I would prefer if Pouri was in the westside but I sure don’t mind those Valley prices! Eyebrow thread for $ 7, can’t beat that. I’ll be back monthly for all my treatments. I already have it scheduled.

Pouri is the best, I’ve been going to her for threading and waxing for the last six years on a regular basis in west LA. She has finally moved over the hill from the westside and now has her own salon in Van Nuys (5 min from my work btw!). Parking is easy as there is a lot behind her salon. Street parking with meters is also very affordable (a quarter for 30 min). She is always professional, meticulous and gentle as can be. And she is the sweetest lady, definitely pop in and check her out!

I finally found my go to eyebrow threading place in the Valley! I am very picky when it comes to my eyebrows. Pouri listened to me, made sure I was happy with the shape, and offered helpful advice.
Added bonus: her price was lower than all the other threading places around her and the place was very clean.
