Was the 2nd person in line, ordered a grilled chicken burrito with the receipt saying 12:34, I didn’t get my food until 12:48, 14 mins later. The restaurant also allows homeless people to walk around asking customers for money. I’m here for a meal, not to donate to the homeless.

Cool lil ladies working the counter and they’re super friendly and great food a little pricy for a drive thru fast food establishment but the flavor and Horchata makes up for it but just make sure if you want«marinated“mention that before you order lol other than that its a great place .ohh and bring your own hot sauce when dinning(tapito preferably) nothing racial but as a hot sauce connoisseur I just think it taste better especially with the breaded chicken But good place

Whenever we’re craving for some no –American fast food, this is the place to be. Their grilled chicken is delicious and flavorful. Their fried chicken is not your regular Popeye’s or KFC. I don’t know but for some reason, every time we eat here I get the runs after a few minutes lol.

Pollo campero definily is not the best choice. When it comes to eat chicken. I remember 27 years ago. My mother use to take me to pollo campero all the time in El salvador. Let me tell you the flavor was very good. Pollo Campero have been changing so much in El salvador and now here it’s something diferent. When they brought it to the U.S. They change everything instead of leaving it the original way, coleslaw, bread, frensh fries and even the chicken are not the same. Here in the U.S. they offer Desert that don’t even deserve a star. I purchase a «4 leches» it’s not even close to what they show on the menu. I am surprise they haven’t been sue for that. The flan that they offer, I will suggest not to buy it since they sell a flan from an outside vendor that you can purchase it for less. Overall prices at pollo Campero are extremely high for the quality of chicken and service. Now, in regards of this location. I can say it’s not the best for many reasons. One is the staff, they don’t have the knowledge of what their sale. Their attitude at the moment of telling something that they did wrong they get upset. Second, the place it pretty duty tables, salsa bar and floor.(We even had to clean our own table). The last thing that I want to say, if you are close to this location, considere to go across the street to «Ay papa chicken». Your money will be worth more and you will be happier. Please check some of the fotos of the deserts that pollo Campero sale.

My prior review was a bit too harsh, and I say this only because I was following the current of what people are saying. Sure the downside of this restaurant is that the employees speak mostly Spanish, it’s not the defining factor of how the chicken or the restaurant is put together. It can get messy sometimes, mostly the salad bar, but let’s acknowledge the clean bathrooms and clean tables. They do a decent up keeping. The chicken is great, above all the fried chicken this has got to be my favorite; the flavor is unique much like the other fried chicken chains. Also I’ve done catering from this location for my graduation a two years back, and I was satisfied with my chicken. Luckily Pollo Campero have been sprouting up all over the valley, but if you’re nearby don’t hesitate to try. And if its not to your liking… well like I said there are other Pollo Campero.

Wow. I had never like this restaurant since it opened. and the chicken is way to salty. not to mention that the plates and soda cups they served the food in are not even clean the proper way. that is disgusting. Don’t understand why the prices are so expensive. I prefer KFC, church’s chicken, el pollo loco than this crappy food. believe me when I say that they don’t care about serving good quality and using same plates and cups over and over again. totally disgusting. they do it just to save a few bucks.

The food is amazing… Well… The chicken is anyway. The staff are either unhelpful or don’t speak English which can be frustrating. The prices are certainly not value for money, but I crave the chicken so I go anyway. The Wednesday deal is the best of 2 pieces chicken and fries.

I’ve wanted to try this place out for awhile just for the sake of it. And I kind of regret going here. I would rate this place below Churches and Popeye’s. It’s different, is how i would summarize it. They marinate the meat which would lead you to believe it’s seasoned but the texture is just on the soggy size that doesn’t make it enjoyable. Fries are great I guess but I’m not here for the fries. As far as this restaurant, it’s not the cleanest, a bit ghetto. I don’t like the fact that when you are eating in the restaurant they don’t give you a to-go cup but instead those plastic cafeteria cups. One they feel dirty and unhygienic and what? you’re trying to prevent people from taking their soda to go to save a few bucks?

I love coming to this spot for takeout, i never stay and eat their just because of the crappy location its in. So i can understand some of the negative reviews. Well lucky for me i never had a problem with there. The chicken is always fresh and definitely taste better than kfc or any other chicken joint. The sides here are good too.

Always the stupid BAD service at this place, ordering inside or at the drive thru sucks, I am from El Salvador(I know you do not care) but the service SUCKS, your orders take forever and the workers are like if they do not want to be working at the time, improve yourselves, we are in the US not in Central America.

I walked in one evening and what to order off their menu! After no service, in the 5 minutes I was there, I vowed never to return.

I failed to online order my food for The Habit and the line was to the door so i saw this place across the way and decided to give them a try. Their Unilocal Star score was pretty low so i was hoping i wouldn’t regret eating here. To my surprise it wasn’t bad at all. I’d say it’s better then a KFC or Popeyes. I had a 3 piece combo with rice and beans and it was really good!

Not good. Stuff doesn’t taste very fresh. Grilled chicken shouldn’t be this greasy. Save your bread — Visit the deli counter @ Vallarta Market. About 100x better. Person at drive through just hands me the bag and said nothing. Freaking infuriates me when business allow their employees to be rude… not say thank you or go to H or anything.

Terrible. My wife and I were going to go to the Habit across the street but when we walked in we got a wicked stench of ass so we quickly walked to the other side of the restaurant to try to avoid the smell but it was everywhere! The place was packed so whatever was going into the food was probably coming right out of the customers. After we walked out, still hungry, we stumbled upon Pollo Campero across the street. We ordered the 3-piece chicken meal with fries and coleslaw, horchata, and a soup. There were about 15 different empty tables covered in trash, crumbs and previous food and drink spills to choose from after we ordered. On the plus side, the fried chicken and the horchata had unique flavors but still only so-so. I would not go as far to say that they were any better than any other fast food option. Half of the chicken was way over cooked, which is better than under-cooked, but you would think«Pollo Campero» might know how to cook a chicken so you don’t have to give your jaw a workout. I actually liked the coleslaw which my wife thought was really bland. She also did not care for her soup at all. To their credit, the place didn’t smell like ass, but if that was enough for nourishment, I’d still choose fresh cut grass, movie theaters, and perri-air over Pollo Campero. We will not be back.

Chicken is really good and well priced. Decent sides but different. It would be better if sides are appetizing but I guess people come for the chicken.

This Pollo Campero is located in a corner anchored by a super market. I walked in here to have lunch. The temperature outside was 109. It was cooler in here, but not as cool as it should have been. There weren’t a lot of people here, yet the restaurant was in a complete mess. There were dirty tables and the salsa bar was messy. The food is decent here. On Wednesdays, it serves leg and thigh for under $ 2.

The $ 1.69 chicken special on Wednesdays is great but eating in here on a hot day when it feels hotter inside than it is outside isn’t cool even with the door open. This open door isn’t cooling down this location like an air conditioner would., and this open door is welcoming to creepy crawlies with and without wings

I’m concerned by the low reviews that this particular Pollo Campero got on Unilocal… This isthe nicest one in the Valley to be completely honest. I honestly love this place and don’t think that I’ll go to another PC in the valley. Staff is really friendly and the service is quick even when they are slammed. If you would like to try a great Salvi chicken place… Pollo Campero is the place to go. Seriously delicious. Try the Yucca, its weird but it grows on you!

It’s Backwards Day! Doing everything you normally wouldn’t do! So the day started with me having my hair dyed and highlighted. Um, Annie? Change? It really IS the end of the world this year. Then after 3 grueling hours of salon work, I was starved and already on Van Nuys blvd. I decided to stop here against all previous moments of better judgement. I got the 3 taco meal for $ 6.99. 3 tacos and a side. I chose the grilled chicken ranch tacos, and fries. The fries sucked and tasted like oil sticks with potato scent sprayed on in the end. It really is backwards day because I threw them out immediately. I normally eat everything in sight, even sub-par items. The tacos were alright, but my quality meter is how I feel right after, and right now the verdict is NAUSEA, probably from the old-tasting ranch they tossed the stuff in. Tasted decent though. I just wont be back that’s all. It doesnt help that I asked my boss if she wanted something from Pollo Campero and she kindly replied«What??? HELLNO!!!». Thanks for the roll in the hay. I won’t be calling you =(
