I dont know much about the rest of the store but I love their cd collection. I’ve found some good cd’s here like metallica, megadeth, queens of the stone age, nine inch nails, black sabbath and too many more too name, Best part is the price, super cheap especially for those kinds of cd’s. There’s not many thrift shops out there that sell these kind’s of cd’s so this store is one of a kind for me. Sorry I can’t comment much on the rest of the store, not really interested in the rest of the stuff.

I love to get on board with smaller thrift stores who support local non-​profit organizations, but this one just reeks of greed and poor management. Insanely overpriced and if you’re not careful, they will hold your car hostage. Want to like this place, but I felt pretty taken advantage of.

They don’t do «Best of the Best» sales anymore but thats only because their quality donations go up on eBay now, so their store locations suffer. The same overpriced junk sits here for months. I used to stop here all the time: 2 thrift stores on one block with the goodwill next door, but now I just stop at goodwill and skip this place. This is pretty much the case at all the Council Thrift Shops these days. I think they should just close already.

The manager is a complete jerk. I used to shop here, then go to the goodwill a few doors down then come back to this store and take a second look. One day the manager, a baseball cap wearing fat short guy chased me down in Goodwill and told me to move my F****in car now. I told I was coming back to look at a few items I was unsure about buying, but since he was sooooo nice to me, I decided to just NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I have seen these store try to sell a PLASTIC FAKE gold ring for $ 150 to an unsuspecting shopper on their «BEST OF THE BEST» sale… I think its more like biggest rip off of the biggest rip off sales. I stay away when people who run a store like this fail to realize that I am the customer, and cant even treat me with an ounce of respect. CAVEAT EMPTOR. SERIOUSLY.

Great place to drop off donations!!! They send you a full list of everything you donate itemized with corresponding values — great for taxes.
I cannot speak to the actual store as I have only been in there a few times and haven’t found much.

The stuff they have is real junk and they price it like they are Bloomingdales! I was there today and there is a vase on the shelves from Crate and Barrel that I bought as a gift for a friend at Crate and Barrel and they were asking more the orignal price at the retail store! I would avoid this place if you are smart!

A LONG time ago — this place was the bomb! It was great — then it changed and they started charging more and more for price. I also noticed some discrimination on the pricing. Not everything had a price and since I’m a white girl the prices I was quoted was more than someone else. So I avoided this place. Also didn’t like the Russian lady who ran it — she was kind of a bitch. NOW it seems to have new management. They reorganized it and have a great selection of stuff. The staff seems to be A LOT friendlier. I would have rated this higher but I want to ensure that the service stays the same — currently — RIGHT NOW 2012 i WOULD recommend this place. Great deals — great prices.
