The LAX FlyAway Bus Service provides frequent, nonstop transportation between LAX and communities in the San Fernando Valley departing from the Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal. Van Nuys FlyAway buses operate 247.

Van Nuys FlyAway Fare: $ 7 one-​way and children age 5 under ride free. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express accepted to purchase tickets. No Cash is Accepted

Parking is available for $ 4 daily at the FlyAway Bus Terminal in the covered parking structure and long-​term parking lot by entering on Woodley Avenue. There is a 30-​day limit on parking. Payment is accepted using Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit and debit cards.

History

Established in 1975.

The LAX FlyAway is owned by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) the City of Los Angeles department which owns and operates three airports in the Greater Los Angeles area. The FlyAway is part of the LAWA ground transportation initiative to improve passenger convenience, reduce traffic congestion and vehicle emissions pollutants by encouraging high-​occupancy vehicle ridership. LAWA began operating the FlyAway service from Van Nuys in 1975, the FlyAway at Union Station started operating in March 2006, the Westwood location began operations in June 2007, and the Irvine Station route opened in November 2009.
